What are some good low carb breakfasts to make that isn't eggs?
I'm cutting right now and I normally just eat like a tin of tuna for breakfast before work/right after I get there
Ideas?
PS I leave for work at like 0600 in the morning so something I can buy pre-packaged is preferable

You're literally holding your only option in the picture.
Also, unless you work greater than 12 hour days (let's be honest, you fucking don't) the time you go to work doesn't automatically excuse being too lazy to cook nutritious food for your own fucking body. Why not try actually going to bed instead of shitposting on a Cantonese jenkem production forum all...

No need to get so mad
OP, instant oats should be great. Get the plain kind and keep some frozen fruit on deck to chuck in

>You're literally holding your only option in the picture.
not at all
you can prepare some stuff the night before and just warm it up in the morning or take it to your workplace in a tupperware
hey i bought chicken hearts and livers on a whim because stuff was cheap as fuck
does anyone have any experience with this ?

Soak in milk. Dredge in flour, egg, flour again. Fry them up. Eat. Make pan gravy with drippings ( and onions) if you want that.
Especially good fried in bacon grease if you have enough.
I grew up in the country and its what the really poor/really old/really black people ate. They'd usually just fry it up.
I was never a fan.
>>7482908
You can also make some great pate' out of the chicken livers.

What sweet foods must you have in the house for when you're drunk of hungover?
Water + Gatorade + Saltines
Water
>>7482710
I don't want anything sweet. I'm all about the salt if I'm hungover. A BLT is perfect for me. I also hate that hungover feeling so getting drunk drunk isn't something I really enjoy.
what did you eat for saint patricks day?
I had corned beef, brustle sprouts, mashed potatoes, lays, fried pickles, and green river soda.
quesadillas and ramen.
I'm Irish too.

Because you think it's Irish?
>Why does everyone make fun of English cuisine???

Jesus Christ. French were already mastering coq au vin by then. It might not be bad, but English cooking is like the ghetto ass brother of cooking.
Also:
Blood Pudding
Beans on Toast
>>7482481
Not so much anymore. Traditional English food is pretty meat and potatoes though.
>>7482481
>coq au vin
i don't know what that is so i looked it up
ho lee shit. is this reasonably possible for an intermediate cook to make? any recipes?
>>7482485
Yeah, we do.
No one takes Brit cuisine serious.
>muh tea & crumpets
BRUSH your God damn teeth also.
Rate my hamburger /ck/
>>7482120
Unsure what the horror show underneath the burger is. Untoasted bun. 4/10, would poke and possibly cut in half before eating.
Could use a slice of tomato, bottom bun half looks dry. I like onions too too, but that's just me.
Not a hell of a whole lot/10
Which order according to /ck/ are you supposed to apply ingredients to a pizza?
Is it sauce, topping, then cheese?
or
Is it sauce, cheese, then topping?
I'm being told two different things at work.
Don't care. Tastes the same.
Whichever way you prefer.
Don't let random internet neckbeards dictate to you how to prepare or enjoy your food.
I would think sauce cheese then topping

I've tried to pan-cook steak several times now, using various Googled recipes, on a cheap electric apartment kitchen stovetop.
Every single time when the meat hits the pan it generates so much smoke I'm afraid I'm going to set of the smoke alarm. I open the sliding door and turn on the fans but it still seems like far too much smoke for what's supposed to be a stove-top operation.
What am I doing wrong?
It's supposed to do that
>>7481535
your doing it right... lots of smoke if your super heating the skillet before you start cooking
Might be using an oil with too low of a smoke point. Also, proper overhead ventilation helps a bunch.
Hey /ck/ have you ever mixed tea with whiskey?
I'm talking poorfag shit here, what are your best drinks?
Water.
>>7481463
>tea with whiskey
Are you Heston Blumenthal?
>>7481463
If you can afford whiskey.......you can afford a coke to mix it with.
Do people actually eat fast food for daily sustenance?
I mean, I like the odd Big Mac as a treat once a week but multiple times a day? Goddamn...
You actually eat fast food every week?
That's pretty fucking nasty, OP.
I eat it at most maybe once a year if I'm driving somewhere and don't have time to stop for anything else, and then I feel like shit for the rest of the day.

I made a thread a couple weeks ago asking about the quality of food at Dairy Queen, as I live by one and I've never been. I have always heard mixed opinions on the place, some calling it bottom rung garbage worse than mcdonalds, while others hold it with highest regard reserved only for whataburger, in n out, and other popular fast food establishments that garner a cult following. I've now been twice and will share my experience.

They've had commercials for in in nyc for decades, but there hasn't been one in forever until 2 years ago. it's in such a populated place tho with way better options so i've never been able to try it
My first trip was for a blizzard, the signature dessert. I've never had a blizzard and get made fun of because apparently around here never having a blizzard is like saying your still a virgin. I got m&m but there were a million other types to choose from, I just panicked and said m&m. It was actually very good, now I know why people like them. M&m ended up being a great choice because the bits of candy froze in the ice cream giving them a good hard crunch. I don't think the ice cream was real but for soft serve it was good.
Since the blizzard was good I was a little less apprehensive about ordering the second time. There were quite a few things on the menu but nothing off the wall. I chose to order conservatively anyway and settled for a #1 combo. Basic hamburger, fries, and drink. The burger appears to be dressed almost just like the original whataburger with mustard instead of mayo or ketchup, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Also like whataburger the flagship item does not include cheese. The difference between the two is that Dairy Queen uses rings of red onion whereas Whataburger uses diced...

So, I was on Yelp earlier today, and ran across the name of a business that sounds so much like a porn star's name that I couldn't stop laughing and thinking of different movies said name would star in. So, here's a game, /ck/. Come up with porn names and porn star names using restaurants in your area. Mine ( using two actual restaurant names)
"Fancy Funnel Cakes" starring BJ Cinnamon
"Four Sisters Cafe"
"Jack's Urban Eats"
"Flip N Shake" starring Shave Monster
This is my first time posting on /ck/ since I started coming here in 07' and wanted to know what you guys thought.
How bad are Microwaves to the human body? My mother and I use it almost every day for food, when she buys veggies they're the frozen ones you put in the microwave, leftovers we use the microwave.
Now I don't know if this the cause of his death but my father died of brain cancer two years ago and he's never had brain cancer in his family.

>my father died of brain cancer two years ago and he's never had brain cancer in his family.
I wish you had put this part of your post in the very first paragraph so I wouldn't have had to read the rest.
I'm sorry to hear your father died, but thinking cancer is hereditary is ridiculous.
