Have you ever had food so surprisingly good, you went to the back of the restaurant and shook the chefs hand?
Man this was so damn good, they deserved it

I will inaugurate a restaurant in NY soon. However I still don't have a name for it. Its speciality will be Steak and Lobster, excellent quality and I'm very serious about this. I'd like to let people know this by just reading the name. Suggestions?

Made by hipster designers desperate for something to slap on their portfolio. Have absolutely no fucking knowledge of what they're writing about and come up with the most inane, nonsensical concoctions - or sometimes straight out lies (like that fucking hotdog one, or the autistic tea graphic that treats them like video game potions).
They never contain any worthwhile information, they're just presented in a nice punchy way that makes you think it's a good idea when it's fucking retarded, made-up bullshit.

Today I learned German people like to eat raw pork. I always grew up hearing how dangerous raw pork is, Why would it be dangerous to eat raw pork in one country, but not others?
It's no more dangerous in Germany than in any other country, provided the pork comes from a trusted source and it prepared properly.

Get good pork from a butcher. Mett is delicious with salt, pepper, onion and some capers as well.

Also good on it is fresh tomato, hard boiled egg and cucumber (pickled or raw)
What is the largest amount of food you have ever consumed in one sitting, /ck/?
My record is a 48 oz steak with a baked potato, salad and soup. I have a friend who successfully completed the 72 oz steak challenge in Amarillo, TX but I never had the chance to try it. Silver medal is an entire pan of lasagna along with some garlic bread sticks and salad. Bronze is the time I ate all of an XL (16 inch) pizza from Papa Johns, an order of cheese bread sticks, an order of dessert sticks and a two liter of Pepsi at once.
Honorable mention list

I hate a whole young goat once. With potatos.
Me and a friend did a lot of dabs after work one night, and got completely destroyed. I only smoke once a day after work, so I was fucking gone.
We both ordered one of those 12-Taco Basket things from Taco Bell, since you can customize each one.
After about an hour, we finished fucking 12 Tacos in a sitting. I cant think of a time where I've felt so sweaty, greasy, constipated, and in so much pain.
I fell asleep in the bathroom tub because it was cool against my skin, and my fucking stomach was having a fit.

Lets see, my dark belgian ale has finished maturing and has been drunk. strong dark malt, chocolate, slight raisin and ginger from the yeast. will definitely do again.
Brewed a session IPA with pale malt, dark crystal and a couple ounces galaxy dry hop, 30 bitterness units, just to balance out the sweet crystal. came out almost red in colour.
