How would /ck/ survive during a zombie apocalypse? On a day to day basis, what do you eat?
I mean maybe it's unrealistic, but it couldn't be anymore unrealistic than World War Z
>The incompetence of the American military
>Blind Japanese samurai and a Japanese otaku 2chan poster
>Stupid concepts like quislings and feral children

Canned Vienna sausages. What I don't eat, I can use to start my post apocalyptic catering service.
I only found out yesterday that the ration packs (also known as MREs) they use in the army aren't that great for anything except convenience.
They are expensive, they don't store very long (not much longer than regular food), they don't taste great and they are just as temperature sensitive as normal food (so you can't stash them somewhere that gets hot, such as a vehicle).
So, in summary, I would not be eating MREs during a zombie apocalypse.
I don't think many zombs would be attracted to crops in the middle of nowhere, so set up a farm with a few other people in the countryside
Why haven't the Poboys sandwich made as big a name of itself as the Philly Steak&Cheese?
And does anyone here even know what one is? They're amazing and while other seafood sandwiches exist, none compare.
lol
po boy is just the wheezy-Ana term for submarine sandwiches/heroes/hoagies
the only thing that sets it apart is that seafood is common, but it's not at all the most popular as that would be roast beef

Po Boy seems to be the name when they're made with french bread and contain shrimp. The convenience of the name is pretty obvious. People don't usually think "shrimp sandwich" when you said "submarine sandwich" or "hoagie". I don't know what "heroes" is and I don't call my food random words like that.

>everything i say in my post agrees with your post completely but i'm gonna say it in such a way to make it sound like i don't agree completely

Just got these in the mail from Amazon. Pretty good. I really want to try the sweet potato variety as well.

I see you paid extra for the airport gift shop packaging.
This shit right here-- it's basically a crunchy cinnamon cracker. You can only generally find it around the Kansai region, but it's fucking addictive-- especially if you find shops that top them with a light coating of powdered sugar.
Chinsuko, which are Okinawa shortbread cookies made with lard. Perfect for dipping in tea or coffee.
What is the BEST brand of Greek yogurt, /ck/?
I used to like Greek Gods, but the amount of sugar in it per serving is like eating a bowl of ice cream. I just stick to plain Mountain High now with some granola thrown in.

Fage, but Siggi's will do just fine.
You sit at the restaurant with your young son, he says he is hungry. You agree to get him dinner. You open up to the kids menu, your child is far to young for adult food. Chicken nugger stares at you from the page. You don’t understand. Your palms get sweaty and your son complains. He says he is hungry. Your mind strains, searching for an answer in a world of sweer potato and French fried. You try to order the chicken nugger, but you cannot. The words cannot escape your lips. Your son is hungry, he complains. The waitress stares at you, her head a spinning chicken nugger,...

Some things, some places, some moments in life are just for you. They shouldn't, they cannot be shared, you can pretend to share the perfect sunset but inside you now that you don't.
Burgers, at it's very best, at the highest levels of product and cookers is like that, is really all about you, and the rare meat inside, topped with that delicious bread and the cheese of course.
And don't forget that delicious delicious plaque clogging your arteries

Tried to come here on a Saturday a while ago but left due to a 45 minute wait
This time was a success
>There are people on this very board that don't eat the entire seed whole
I seriously can't believe people waste time cracking them open, be it in their mouth or with their hands, then spitting the shell out.
I can't be your friend if you do this, /ck/.
I didn't even know it could be opened.

FAGGOT
Best flavor.
stupid /ck/ mistakes you have made
I just realised that soba noodles release a lot of salt when you boil them, and that I was ruining my soup broth by boiling the noodles in it

>What is it
It's basically like what the /ck/ IRC was, but a lot less shit, and I hope to keep it that way. It's a good way to have some chats with cool dudes and share vids and shit. Also has voice chat support, but nobody ever ends up there

Oh great, I always wanted a chat channel filled with rampant tripfriend circlejerking 24/7 while the channel creator enjoys his powertrip by banning people he doesn't like.
No thanks.
/ck/ is full of shit nowadays, as the rest of 4chan is. There has been a shill containment breach and the ones who actually wants to learn from others about food and cooking are a few.
This idea is dumb
I'm looking for a solution to my acne problem. Around the time I turned 18, it became an issue for me. I suffered for a year before going vegan. My vegan diet solved the problem for me, giving me clear skin until about a year ago when I decided to go to college (I'm currently newly 22), and now the stress has been giving me spots again.
Because diet previously cured my acne, I'm hoping it can again. I don't eat any junk food, and try to get as many nutrients as I can. I eat a lot of this shit every week:

Lower your glycemic index to minimal possible. Sugar, booze, bread, etc.
More Cooked food is, more it releases insulin, which in turn releases IGF insulin growth factor (major bodybuilding supplement). This causes cell division everywhere and creates the preconditions for the bacteria of acne vulgaris to colonize aggressively, form their own pustules, and make acne on you.

If ur a grill and that's you, I can assure you, I'll gladly stick my ding-dong in all your holes, thus renewing your self-worth until another 2 weeks have gone by and you give up your dignity and sully the purity of your vagina once more.
God, girls are disgusting. Pls be in london.
if you ever got rich would you hire a private chef? You can get one for like 45k
No. I'd rather spend my riches on KFC buckets and Taco Bell 12 packs.

why rent when you can buy?
i would purchase a very tiny asian woman, thai or maybe viet
When I was growing up, my parents employed a housekeeper and a kitchen helper, but, though they could afford it, not an outright private cook. I would guess it's because my mother is very particular on how things are cooked and nothing is ever as good as what she makes.
Had I the cash my parents do, I wouldn't hire a private cook, either. I already employ a housekeeper. Maybe a kitchen helper some day, but not a private cook. My reasons differ from mum's, though, more that I actually enjoy cooking than anything.
I'm going to give the sardines meme a shot. What brand does /ck/ recommend?
