How do I into Scotch /ck/?
I don't live in Europe or USA but can order from either.
What brands to try, and how to enjoy?
>>7631433
>Scotch
>enjoy
you can't

It's an acquired taste Op, it's something that does take time to drift into and find your niche.
Just try blends for now and if later you feel like moving onto single Malts, then by all means, splash out a bit.
Without getting too silly, Glenfiddich and Glenmorangie are popular here in Britain. Drink as is, or perhaps with ice or water.

Are you interested in Scotch exclusively or are you also interested in whiskey from other regions?
Hi,i want to recommend a good dark beer,Tomislav from Croatia. Two of these and you are almost drunk(7.3% alc.)
Also you can get it in the stores in Slovenia,Serbia etc.About 2-3 euros in the pubs.
thanks OP
I'll keep it in mind next time I visit Croatia

None.

A very good Cuban sandwich is god-tier among sandwiches in general. But a Cuban sandwich anywhere below God tier is absolute ass

I did mostly mashed food the day after my surgery, mashed potatoes should be filling and you can eat them hot since its been 4 days.
Where can I find a store that will ship dog meat to Canada? I'd prefer not to go to the trouble of butchering one myself, unless there's no other way.
Pic unrelated.

Food: Peanut Juice with a side of Spinach
Wine: Scopelli Vineyards mixes rich marijuana flavors and a libido-boosting molasses aftertaste in their 2011 Red Zinfandel.
The food sounds like it can be passed off as a superfood smoothie or some meme food.

Sup /ck/ookers, this morning I'm making a spanish tortilla for breakfast.
This is my gf's favorite egg dish.
We'll be using the very best eggs, only the finest.
I had some spare bacon strips so I cutted them, the original recipe does not include bacon but I'mma use it anyways.
...and of course, some toasts for the eggie.
I poured some butter on them.
I’m thinking of starting my own Italian restaurant. I want to keep it really simple, and focus on quality products. Maybe only 4 or 5 pasta dishes to start with.
What does /ck/ think? Any suggestions?

What 4-5 types of exact dishes we talking about?
Alright /ck/, lets talk curry. More specifically, Japanese curry.
I love it. I love it more than i should love any food, but the thing is that i've only eaten the most default version possible. Meat, potatoes, carrots and the curry cubes into the pan, nice and simple. But i'm looking for ways to change it up a bit and add a special touch to the dish.
So /ck/, how do you make your Japanese-style curry?
Potatoes, onions, chicken/beef for me. Sometimes I add mushrooms or carrots, sometimes I just have plain potato curry. It's delicious either way.
I use chickpeas most of the time. They're cheap and I like them.

I'm not allergic to peanuts, if that's what you were asking.
So I wanted to make some picadillo to stuff poblanos with. Basically to make chilles rellenos. In my drunk wisdom, I had brown ground pork, ground beef, and mixed up 2 onions, bell peppers, and jalapenos each.
Then I had to attend to something else. So this mixture is sitting in my fridge until tomorrow.
Can anyone give me some suggestions as to how to make picadillo? Or at least make this mixture a bit spicier. Either way, I'm going to end up stuffing the poblanos tomorrow, frying them and making a sauce to go with it.
To be clear. I browned the pork and beef and sauteed the onions and peppers. All are seasoned with S&P, and I threw some capers and oregano in the veggies because what I was reading before I had to leave said to add a little bit of that.
I've tasted the whole mixture together and it tastes good, just kinda flat.
I had a few tabs open about adding tomato paste, chicken stock, cinnamon.. those sorts of things.
Bump for interest, chilies tell eon is the first thing I try at any New Mexican place.
Is your salt level okay?
When we make anything spicy, if it tastes flat, that's the first question. Salt seems to wake up the other flavors, taco meat can be spiced 9 ways from sunday, but if there isn't enough salt you don't really taste any of it.
>>7630069
For what I've cooked so far? Yes, salt is fine. I mean it tastes good for what it is so far, 2 meats with the aforementioned veggies.
I just want to "make it better to stuff into these peppers.
I'm gonna go downstairs in a bit, I'll take a pic but it won't show much.
