This is literally every picky eater.
Except most people will take it one step further. If you act like an asshole and gag every time you don't eat comfort food, the Pavlovian Response and your ruined digestive tract will eventually make you physically sick whenever you have to eat something that isn't pop-tarts or pizza rolls. If you do that to yourself, you deserve zero sympathy or accommodation.
Went with a group to a Cambodian restaurant once. One friend in particular was the pickiest fucking eater alive. Most everything on the menu is just noodles and chicken, pork, beef, or seafood in various combinations with various sauces. I doubt they had anything like prahok (which I'm not even sure is legal to sell where I live) or insects or anything. We gave him advice on what to order, basic stuff like kuy tiev or mee katang, and steered him away from anything he would find weird like kroeung or samlaw. He eventually told us to fuck off, asked for chicken nuggets (which...

picky eater genocide when?
There have been plenty of foods that I didn't like in the past, but instead of being a bitch about it, I just kept eating the shit until I liked it. Now I regularly enjoy:
>artichokes
>blue cheese
>coconut
>most salad dressings
>IPA-style beers
>all forms of tea
>black coffee
At what age did you grow out of soda?
16
I kept falling asleep in my afternoon classes in highschool. My dad suggested I stop drinking soda. I kept falling asleep but only because high school classes were boring. Felt a lot better when I didn't drink soda so I never went back.

Who else /eatingdisorder/ here?
Do you come to marvel at how many calories other people can eat in one sitting?
Here to look at pictures of food you won't let yourself eat?
Tell me how you're doing, friends.

Old el paso tacos. Anyone who doesn't agree is a cunt.
What are some quick and healthy ways to start the day as a student?
I have a pretty big savoury tooth, and I'm not a huge fan of cereal or fruit. I also shouldn't really be having fried/processed food every morning.
>>7659684
fried egg on toast
>>7659684
fried toast with an egg
If I'm rushing to class in the mornings, I usually do oatmeal overnight in the fridge. That and coffee.
If I am able to actually cook something I do an egg (soft scramble or fried) on toast with a little bit of hot sauce.
in this wide, wide world, is there hope for forgiveness for a man and his sandwich?
he's got huge head and narrow shoulders. no wonder he was a star. All stars have gigantic noggins.
he's getting a free footlong in prison
I wonder where subway would be without that formerly fat fuck. Did they even advertise themselves as health food before him?

VOTING GUIDELINES
Voting follows an 'Iron Chef' style scoring system. This means you, the people of /ck/, will judge each entry individually instead of deciding on what you feel is the "best" dish.
Dishes are scored out of a total 20 points, based on 4 categories (worth a maximum of 5 points each); Presentation, Originality, Appeal and Challenge Goals. You may award 0's if you feel the contestant did not meet your expectations for a category.
-Presentation: The appearance of items on the plate; plating skills
-Originality:...

The theme of Round Nine is...
Party!
Party food. Something that makes you smile, that makes you think of good time with the people you like having around. While you're perfectly welcome to make a large spread of food, please make sure there is clearly a "main dish" because that is what people will be voting on.
Two contestants will not be moving on to the next round. Next round is the final!
Scorecard. Congrats to Fantastic for the win!
Get in touch with me for the round prize ;-)
Lets talk about rice.
I've always been a long grain white man myself, I can get white rice so cheap that whenever I wanted basmati, I have to pay more than triple the cost.
There's one thing that's always troubled me however, what's the best way to cook it?
I've always been the type to follow the instructions on the packaging, but I'm becoming increasingly suspicious of them - they often seem designed to be foolproof, rather than actually good.
Anyway, /ck/ educate me, this is how I've been cooking my boiled rice,...

Rice cooker man. Unless youre an old nip, spic, or indian making it out of the pot is a bitch. Some people say wash the rice first but it makes the shit to fluffy.
>>7611703
>Rice cooker man
I don't get it, we've cooked rice for literally thousands of years without them. If we needed one to make good rice, rice wouldn't be anywhere near as popular as it is.
>>7611792
Kinda like toast, right?

People who criticize Indian food, why?
Out of all of the shit to bitch about with India, its the food?
Of course, you'll just use the ol' "poo in loo" meme
It was never funny and will continue to be stupid
Not once have I seen an Indian man shitting in public unless drunk
Lovely timing since I'm not a native, eh?
Over dramatic retards is who
Out of 10, what would you give Indian food? I'd say 8

That pizza is shit and cutting it that way is retarded
Wu Tang is for the children
So the whole gimmick is putting name brand dry cereal onto donuts?
How the fuck is this so popular?
Its the worst idea I have ever heard of.
Why is sugar and fat so popular
That's not the WHOLE gimmick, that's just one of their many, many gimmicks. They also do weird flavors (bacon donuts) or name their donuts after celebrities.
I'm honestly surprised the place is so popular, considering it has much more of a "Gen X" style.
>>7655206
how do these taste?
Are there any good youtube channels about cooking?
