Is there anything wrong with drinking milk?
Yes
Unless of course that milk is almond, rice, hemp, soy, etc.
Animal milk is not meant for human consumption. It is an anti-nutrient. It actually drains calcium for our bones

I'm going to my Grandma's 90th birthday party next week. There's around 100 people going and each family is supposed to bring a dish. I'm not an amazing cook. Probably just mediocre. But I need an idea/recipe of something to make. It doesn't have to be enough for everyone, just whoever wants to try it. My Grandma is polish/German, so anything inspired by their dishes would be a big plus. It doesn't have to be a main course, it can be an appetizer/snack, dessert or whatever. Just something not too hard to make. They usually have sauerkraut/kielbasa...

I tend to bring pasta or lentil salad to gatherings and potluck. Or dessert if you can bake?
Take little smokies put on tooth pick with pineapple dip in bbq sauce than broil in oven
Simple and fucking delicous

Most of my family are Americans and will bring something similar. I should've said that too. Lentil/potato/macaroni salad is probably already going to be there.
Baking is my strong suit though(not amazing but I can do it pretty well).
You now have to kill every animal you eat.
Would you still eat all the same meat? I probably wouldn't eat veal or lamb they're too cute. Ducks are also cute but I'd probably eat ugly ones. Chickens are ez mode, I'd eat them all time. Pigs I'd be ok with killing, and I already kill seafood often so that's no problem. I've never been deer hunting but I think I would try it out if I had to kill all the meat I eat.
Hard mode: nogunz

I probably wouldn't eat meat at all to be honest senpai.
Likewise if I had to pick my own vegetables I probably wouldn't eat them either.
Not because of ethics, because of laziness

No change for me, regularly kill my own food.
I have found my new sandwich of choice /ck/
>went to a "hole in the wall"
Mexican restaurant today with my buddy
>literally family owned place where only the daughter speaks english
>ask her what's good
>torta with steak milenesa
>muh God
Add a little bit of salsa verde and this is a game changer. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sandwich is loaded with fresh veggies
Who /tortas/ here??
>>7673601
Chicken Milenesa is also worth trying. This is my go to Mexican sandwich.
>>7673601
Jesus, is this going to be the new banh mi? Uncultured whitebreads owning torta shops selling breaded boars head steak on a Kaiser roll, for $9, and the milk-shitters lap it up and brag on Facebook how much tapatio they managed to slather on it?

White ''''''people''''' ruin everything they touch with their moist, quivering hands
Just picked up a bottle of Nordic Artesian water. It has a really good, fresh taste.
The downside is it cost nearly £4.
>Artesian water
Dohohohohohohohohoho
>>7667568
Artesian water definitely tastes better than regular.
i just love how much artesian looks like artisan and how many people are probably enraged by this misunderstanding
>mfw trying to explain the Europeans that hamburger is a type of meat not just the sandwich
Its actually ground beef
hamburger is a housewife name

Why is blueberry such a rare flavor in candies, sodas, icecreams, syrups, coffees, etc?
>blueberry coffee
As opposed to strawberries? Harder to farm in your quite hot Murrica.
>>7670621
There are some ethopian coffees, typically out of yirgacheffe, that will smell/have mild blueberry taste.
Any idea how to make pancakes this thick and smooth?
>>7670582
bake them slow in some kind of cake pan?
>>7670582
Made in a rice cooker. Pour pancake batter in cooker, wait til done.
>>7670582
Make them in a rice cooker. Take a close look at your picture, the undersides aren't brown like the tops are.
What's for dinner, /ck/?
I'll be having beer can chicken with roasted potatoes and carrots.
I'm making some sourdough bread and I defrosted some beef and vegetable soup I had in the freezer.

To start, if it smells fine, it is fine.
Some things cook better at a lower than max heat
You're almost certainly undersalting your pasta water. It should taste like the sea.

I don't salt my pasta water so I can use more Romano cheese later.
