What do you think of this pizza, /ck/?
If you were on Death Row, what would be your final meal?
Turkey dinner with all the fixings
Peanut butter and homemade jam sandwich on homemade bread
6 chocolate chip cookies with a cold glass of milk
Finished off with a .45 hollow point to the back of my head
Hey guys I tried beer for the first time and it tasted like sawdust. Why do you guys pretend to like this stuff? Pic related is what I tried. So, where do I go from here?
Is it actually possible to liquefy garlic? This scene has haunted me for years
Sure, you can puree garlic. But, it makes it taste bad. Something about destroying too many cells that release sulfur or whatnot.
Same goes w/ an onion. After about 20 minutes a pureed onion smells like straight-up ass.
What is the meal you eat most frequently?
Most mornings I have one scrambled egg with black pepper and tobasco sauce with a little bit of white rice, and also a few spoon scoops of low fat cottage cheese, sometimes with a few pieces of cut up fruit
How do they get the poo in the middle, /ck/?
What's your simplest bread recipe? I'm broke as hell and I wanna save money on bread.
2 to 1 ratio of masa flour and water. press into small circles that are reasonably thick, cook in pan. Split in half and stuff with whatever, or fold into a cup and fill with whatever.
Do you guys use the bones when your done with pizza or just throw them out? I was thinking about making a stock with them.
I use to be like you, never ate the crust but then i grew up and now seeing people not eat the crust but still grabing an extra slice angers me
If i ever have kids theres going to be a house rule of no extra slices unless you eat your last slices crust
How can I best get a thin, flat piece of dough when I don't have access to a rolling pin or other rolling-pin-like utensil? This is not for pizza, I just need flat strips to roll stuff up in
What's the last meal you cooked, /ck/?
So I just found one of these near me. what should I get? I have $20 to spend. are they better than Taco Bell?
any oxtail lovers here?
i have some marinating in fridge right now
>trim a little bit of the fat off them
>let them soak in salt and lemon juice for about 10 minutes

Hi /ck/ To help my cutting I'm trying to improve my low cal beverages repertoire. Currently I have:
>good quality coffee
>good quality green tea
Googling only gives me spams of aspartame bombs. I want to keep eat natural and simple/cheap. Any ideas?
that's a really nice battle station even if I don't agree with screen positions.
is the steam controller any good?
Have you tried combining the lemon with the green tea? lime might be better
hey guys! I decided that I want to surprise my bf tomorrow with a homemade quiche! I looked up a few recipes and I found this one. it looks pretty good, but I have a few questions about it since there are some things that I and my bf are picky about.
here's the original recipe
1 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
8 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 cup chopped leeks (white and pale green parts only)
1/2 cup chopped onion
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or more to taste
2 egg yolks
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
6 ounces shredded Gruyere cheese
not gonna be able to head to the store today, bf is at work so I'll have to make do with what we have.
don't have a pie crust, but I have a pie pan flour. it's tapioca flour though. would a pie crust made from tapioca flour be okay?
we're both vegan, so I'm thinking I'll replace the bacon with some yummy morningstar vegan bacon. we have some vegan eggs too, picked em up last week at whole foods. haven't used any, so I definitely have enough for this recipe. for the heavy cream, I just looked up that you can use pureed tofu, so I'll toss a block into our food processor. and for the milk, I'm not sure if I want to use almond milk or soy milk. we have both; we have more almond milk though since we drink a glass of soy milk just about every day. maybe I'll use almond milk since we have some almond cheddar cheese to replace the gruyere.
as far as the veggies go, I don't think we have leeks. we do have green onions though. we also have red and yellow onions... which ones should I use? the recipe only says "onion" so I'm not sure which one it is.
I don't think we have black pepper, we do have white pepper though. my bf likes spicy stuff too, so I think I'll add a bit more cayenne pepper. maybe a tablespoon?
we don't have thyme either, just oregano.
I think this is gonna be so yummy! let me know what you guys think :)
Hey, pretty cool huh?
It's like when people on Facebook say you can win a PS4 worth $300 by buying $1 tickets.
your going to get like triple the worth of a ps4 in ticket sales, and literally just pretend someone won it.
