whats your favorite bread?
A fresh baguette for under a dollar from the best boulangerie in small town France.
Nobody ever believes me, but there's literally nothing better. When I spent time in France I could honestly eat a baguette with Dijon mustard, cornichons, and some cured meat/pate for every single meal.
There's a lot I don't like about French culture, but I will adamantly defend them for making the best bread in the world. Foie gras and their cheese doesn't hurt either.
ITT we post picture of dish that we fucking own.
i can make the best pancakes in a 30 miles radius
im not from usa, i used to make them thin, like a thick crépes, i discovered that recipe recently.
but i see what you mean, the thinier they are the better you can taste the mapple sirup, but for now only having to cook like 3 and not 8 is a blessing.
Post GOAT food
Curried chickpeas, spinach garlic and basil, and white rice
ive been lazy and never make it homemade,
so i just buy this. Its delicuous and has tofu
i go through like 4 boxes a week
What's some good soft food, /ck/?
Getting my wisdom teeth cut out nine hours from now and I need stuff to eat other than applesauce and yogurt.
I love to cook but maybe cooking my own food while I'm on pain meds with a swollen jaw might not be the best idea, so ideally I want stuff with little to no prep required.
Mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing. Gum that shit up.
Also, for god's sake dude, you'll be out of commission for a couple days. You can survive without fancy food for that long. Everyone can stand to lose a few. You'll live.
why do people fly into an autistic fit of rage at the sight of pic related?
I was just watching a food show that talked about this place in chicago where they serve fries in the hotdogs.
the owner was smugly bragging that they dont even have ketchup in the restaurant because its not authentic and he wont allow it on his dogs.
How do I make this?
what would you feed ur waifu?
Hey /ck/ my mil brought home this ribeye from the local casino and I'm looking to make a great prime rib for tomorrow. Any good rubs and recipes?
I went to McDonalds today and ordered a steak, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich, a double order of hash browns, and a bacon clubhouse burger on the side.
The line at the drive thru was long today and the cashier was annoyed over the speaker, repeatedly snapping at me and asking me to repeat my order.
She asked me if I was ordering both breakfast AND lunch menu items, as if that was some sort of inconvenience! When I arrived at the window, the cashier was visually stressed and informed me that my order would take a few minutes.
The line began to build...

Notice, I went to pay the power bill today and there was a mistake so I only had to pay half of it, it was close to the mall so I went to KFC and got the box that comes with small chicken popcorn shaker, 4 sings, 1 piec and medium fries, I also asked for a second medium soda and a barbecue and honey sauces.
Pretty good but I could have got two big chicken popcorn shakers instead
/an/ here, can anyone recommend a good butcher knife or etc?
I chop up a lot of fish/rats/chicken to feed various animals, and it would be nice to actually have something even remotely meant for that.
What would be the best thing for if I just wanted to haphazardly chop up something like that into a few pieces?
It's the greatest question of all time: Strawberry or Raspberry?
Potato buns are god-tier buns and the only acceptable option for burgers and chicken.
Pretzel buns may be allowed on a case by case basis.
Never bought bacon ends before. What am I in for?
Pic unrelated, just first thing nabbed from Google.
have you ever ate the ends of a peice of bacon?
That's what you are in for
Because bacon ends taste like the ends of bacon
They even have the same texture and shape
They even come from the same part of the pig.

chowder next for compare
red more water

I'm making wonton Soup tonight. Some pictures to follow
Well I ran out of wrappers and decided to throw them in the freezer until tomorrow when I make it.
I took 2 pictures, 1 of the filling I'm using and the other of some of the wontons I finished. I didn't take a pic when i was done because I forgot. They're in the freezer now waiting for tomorrow afternoon.
