welcome to the internet grandma.

Put it in the microwave for 2 minutes
I can't even fallow the pictures because there are not enough of them...
Why do American's cook their bacon until it is so dry and overcooked it literally crumbles and snaps? No other meat is cooked this way, when people eat meat they expect it to be soft and tender. What you're doing is overcooking it.
pic related, this is what bacon should look like.

It's cool you think about US all day. idontthinkaboutyouatall.jpg
>>7682932
I don't think about you personally and I never will do.

>no other meat is cooked this way, when people eat meat they expect it to be soft and tender
Well that's just plain wrong.
You need to understand that there's an entire world out there, not just whatever isolated little country you come from and America.
So /ck/, what's the best cooking related piece of equipment you've ever purchased?
Doesn't have to be the most expensive, just the most useful to you. I'd have to say a kitchen thermometer personally, not only did it obviously allow me to do meats correctly, it better taught me how to judge time and appearance needed for things without having to slice it open before it's done
Chefalarm oven thermometer. I tend to finish things in the oven these days so its definitely convenient.
Probably my pizza stone. allows me to make perfectly crisp za, even from frozen in the oven

I'm op and just have the one in the pic, but I'd like to get one of those you can leave in. I'm assuming you can use it on the grill as well? Seems like it would be handy
Why is cake so gross?
>>7682833
Because only poor, fat people like sweets.

/thread
Because you haven't had Chicago style cake, my friend.
I'm a complete retard when it comes to cooking. With that said...
I see a lot of cooking tutorials/whatnot with most, if not all the ingredients laid out on separate dishes. Is this just for show or should I actually use this method?
>>7682610
You think that motherfucker does his own washing up? Use your brain anon
>>7682610
Depends on the dish. It definitely makes the actual process of cooking faster, but the prep time and cleanup go up. It's mostly for show, but hey, you do you.
>REAL chili is only meat!
>>7682579

>>7682281
It's an image from google, dummy. I was so upset about receiving some thin abomination in place of the pizza casserole I had expected that I didn't get a chance to take a picture. That's pretty much what it looks like, though.

Cooking at work :) My today's lunch: pasta with cottage cheese. Diet version.
Ingredients:
75g of pasta (here, a cheap ramen, no need to cook.)
150g of skim cottage cheese
stevia
cinnamon
vanilla sugar
yogurt
Crumble the pasta in the package. Switch the kettle on.
Put the noodles in the mug. Discard the spices or leave them to spice up something else. This is a sweet dish.
What do you think of this pizza, /ck/?
It's from the George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA.

Approximately 11,000 online recipes are to be dropped following a review of the BBC’s online output that promises to save £15m a year by cutting back on magazine-style content as well as local news.
The recipes are being “archived or mothballed”, a source said, and will “fall off the face of the internet” after the food site is closed, with no live links.
The broadcaster will remove the recipes on its food site although recipes from television shows will remain online...

“While our audiences expect us to be online, we have never sought to be all things to all people and the changes being announced will ensure that we are not,” he said. “These changes won’t be popular with all members of the public, but we think they are the right thing to do.”
