Redpill me on craft beer
>>7723943
it's like beer, but smaller
It's the best beer. If you're at a bar and ask for a beer, make sure you specify that you want a craft beer. Otherwise the beer you get might not be a craft beer.

Post pictures of food that tastes disgusting.
Pic extremely related: sunny side up eggs
ur mums arse but im all out of pics mate
>Exposure, plain and simple. Scientists tell us that aversions fade away when we eat moderate doses of the hated foods at moderate intervals, especially if the food is complex and new to us. (Don't try this with allergies, but don't cheat either: few of us have genuine food allergies.) Exposure works by overcoming our innate neophobia, the omnivore's fear of new foods that balances the biological urge to explore for them. Did you know that babies who are breast-fed will later have less trouble with novel foods than those who are given formula?...

Americans are such children.
How do you guys feel about communal dining?
I like meeting new folks at places that have it.
Trying to find a nice place in Denver where I can be a regular.
>>7719276
>Food orgies
They're okay for a change up.
Never been to a place like that, though I would like to try it for a change.
>>7719276
i eat like a hoover so i eat alone in front of my computer.
how do you use chopsticks
You grab the food with the other end of the sticks and put it in your mouth.
>>7725774
"can i please have some silverware? thank you"
or just eat like a real asian and put your mouth near the plate and use the chopsticks to shovel it in
how do the Chinese name their children?
they throw a handful of silverware down the basement stairs and whatever sound it makes, that's what they name the kid
why do Chinese people eat with chopsticks?
because all their silverware is down on the basement floor
Favourite pizza topping?
sun dried tomato...or spinach....or roaster garlic...i cant decide...
im gonna go with anchovies.
Onions.
>>7725155
Green peppers, bacon, and crushed red pepper. GOAT pizza toppings.
Why aren't you cooking with coconut oil.
>eat as much of it and nothing happens
>food taste the same
>cost just as much as regular canola oil
>much more healthier than olive and canola oils
>>7719975
Coconut oil cost about a dollar extra but it's totally worth it for how much the jar has in it.
>>7719975
thats a meme. its saturated fat. it was demonized in the 90's as worse than lard and now hipsters are gargling the cum taste out of their mouth with it.
i rub it all over my body and eat a few blobs while doing it
Has anyone tried making those horrific 50s recipes posted here?
>>7709762
Literally every single thing about this image makes me want to bash a pregnant woman's face in with a hammer, cut out her spawn, and feed it to a colony of flesh-eating cockroaches.
How do you third worlders (non-Nordics) who don't use cheese slicers make your cheese slices?
Suppose you want a thin slice like in pic related. Do you just use a knife/wire and end up content with whatever chunky ""slice"" you managed to peel off?
>>7725276
Knife
>>7725276
We aren't effeminate faggots like the Scandis so don't worry about the extra millimetre of cheese going to our thighs.
Now go and prep Tyrone for your wife, Sven.
>>7725282
So you simply don't eat hard cheese because you can't cut them? Or just eat crumbs?
post your favorite craft beers
i'll start
>>7722629
I prefer the Leinenkugel version desu.

I now have an ice cream maker in my possession.
I have made so far
>Caramel
>Espresso

They were all pretty good but relatively standard
What are some other, not often used, types of ice cream that I could make?
>grape?
Semen and vaginal fluid

I really like pistachio, blueberry, cinnamon.
Mine always get hard as fuck after a few hours in the freezer.
>>7715383
cinnamon and blueberry sound good
did you add extra sugar for both of them?
i usually make frozen custard so it remains pretty soft
Hey chefs,
I'm starting an accounting internship this summer and it's 40-hours a week minimum which leaves me with a reasonable time (~30 minutes) in the morning to cook breakfasts.
I've been mainly cooking fried rice using jasmine rice (cooked earlier and stored in fridge,) tons of onion powder, soy sauce, garlic powder, sesame seeds, pepper, and some Walmart five seasoning salt, along with two eggs.
Other than the rice, everything else is done on the morning-of.
I was wondering if you guys knew of any other things I should add...

Big four?
>>7716836
No, I'm currently a freshman heading into my sophomore year
This is at a small company, but the pay is decent and the work is in my field
Big Four is one of my goal paths, either that or banking.
Why do you ask?
Why is Sichuan food so fucking good?
chinamen had to learn how to make rotting corpses they found in a rice paddy taste good, so it's ever better these days with fresh dog and female fetus meat
>>7716138
harsh
>>7716118
do these fags even make jouzza?
itt: your 'secret' ingredients
mine is my 7-salt blend
Sometimes I put pepper on my food
Guess I'm the absolute madman
Love is a pretty popular secret ingredient but I find self-loathing is a good substitute.
I like to apply heat to my food before I eat it.
What's the worse injury you've ever sustained in the kitchen?
>>7718998
one time in fluke accident I slipped and fell ass first in to a vertical carrot.
>>7718998
I grabbed a pan with my bare hand that had been in a 350F oven for 40 minutes and walked a few steps while holding it before feeling any pain. Worst pain I've ever felt once it hit, started sweating from the pain and it didn't subside for a few hours. 1/3 of my hand was covered in blisters.
Broke my wrist when my sister charged through the door just as I was reaching to open it. The door handle hit me just right, apparently.
So this may be more /fit/ related but I started a new diet to lose weight(40lbs). I eat at a 1'000cal deficit after running and calisthenics, and only consume 1'200kcal a day. It's working, so far I'm losing 3lbs a week, but I'm starving all the time. Even with constantly drinking unsweetened tea or trying to eat low cal foods. The current regimen is
Protein shake and oatmeal muffin for breakfast- 450kcal
Extra large salad with protein for lunch- 300kcal
Air popped popcorn- 90kcal
400kcal in miscellaneous
Been following this for...

Eat a second salad? You're gonna feel hungry no matter what when you diet so hard.
>>7713232
I think fats keep you filled up more and give you more energy per calorie than carbs but I'm not sure. Look into that.
allowing a little bit of whole wheat bread or brown rice won't kill your diet and will fill you up a little bit.
