So which meme am I supposed to fall for?

Leave tomatoes out until they start to get soft, then refrigerate to prevent spoilage

Now I know that hot food is more activated than cold food, the flavors start appearing and aren't subdued
so a room temperature tomato will taste "better" (more like a tomato) than a cold one
but I do love me some cold tomatoes and lettuce on hot bacon with bread.
Meet the Airheads Soft Filled Bites. They are quite literally the shittiest and most bland iteration of a candy I have ever tasted. The taste can actually be best described as "air" because none of the flavors tastes of anything and that middle white part is like some weird Circus Peanuts sort of bland marshmallow that doesn't taste of anything either. It's comparable to that aerated white sugar center of Bull's Eyes (Caramel Creams). The texture is all off. If the board meeting responsible for this candy pitched "churro abortions with our logo...

For those in need of a reminder.
My vote goes for taco shells
the texture is subpar and they are severely lacking in sweetness.

They don't look that horrible desu. I wouldn't eat them though, I'd rather spend the calories on something actually delicious.
Have you ever had bit-o-honey, anon? Nik-l-nip? Those hard watermelon candies pulled from straight from satan's asshole? I don't think you know what an abomination truly tastes like.
alright /ck/, i just graduated high school and i want to make a small, intimate dinner for some friends. any ideas as to what i should make? include recipe if possible please
Cyanide with a side of bullets
oatmeal with fish
How about some sour warheads and caprisun you fucking toddler
So, without getting into a discussion about whether places like Chipotle/Qdoba/Panchero's/etc. are shit or not...
Many of them have beer on the menu. If you ever go there, I'm wondering whether you've ever gotten beer with your meal. It's never occurred to me to do that. Basically doubles the cost of your meal.
I did once. You can only buy one at a time and you have to drink them within site of the cashier. Not worth it at all

>Paying craft prices for shitty domestics

Just get a pressure cooker and always buy the stringiest meat with a lot of connective tissue. Cook that shit until its tender.
Baking potatos
Egg whites
Canned fish
Canned soup
Only eating once slice of bread a day
Cherry tomatoes
Cucumber
Garlic
Onions
What are some desserts / sweet stuff that a beginner can attempt?
chocolate chip cookies, you have to be literally mentally challenged to fuck those up
Rice pudding is probably the easiest.
At its most basic:
Rice, 1 cup
Salt, a pinch
Water, 4 cups
Milk, 2 cups
Sugar, to taste
Put rice, water and salt in a pot or pan and set to high heat, uncovered.
Bring to the boil and allow to cook, stirring occasionally.
When reduced and quite thick, add sugar and milk.
Dissolve sugar and allow pudding to cook down to desired thickness, then off the heat and chill.
You can also make variations to the recipe, like swapping in coconut milk for regular milk or using hot chocolate mix in place of...

this, also cheesecake is pretty hard to fuck up. maybe like muffins. If it's more for like a dinner party try to make a simple panacotta or any type of pie.
What should I cook for my boyfriend tonight? I'm at his place so it has to be something where i won't make too much of a mess.
>>7714567
What kind of foods does he like?
>>7714571
Spicy stuff. He doesn't really dislike anything
How about you kill yourself and serve sandwiches at your funeral? Everybody loves sandwiches.
Make way, best normie beer coming through.
I like the big Asahi cans a lot.
>>7714692
I like the Sapporo cans. They're cheap and good for BBQ drinking.
>Using rice as an adjunct
Might as well drink Bud, desu senpai.

literally the most disgusting tasting nuggies ever made.
Now with plastic and wood flavor!

Whomever allowed these to pass USDA guidelines and be sold may they die in several fires.

Yeah, but if you want to eat like 50 chicken McNuggets without the shame of driving thru McDonalds, this is the only way to do it.
They don't have quite the same taste, but the texture was 95% there. I used up some old containers of their BBQ sauce, and it fooled my brain pretty good.

>nuggies

Tyson brand are bad. They have the hard bits that just ruin your entire hour after you bite wrongly
Has anyone tried the chocolate custard pie from McDonalds? Thoughts?
>implying people still go to mcdonalds

I'd like to stick me knob in one
I'll get my salmonella elsewhere, thank you

>Saturated fat makes you sick
>Saturated fat causes heart disease
Several meta-analysies have proven the hypothesis wrong.

Meanwhile, breast milk is full of saturated fat, humans store extra energy as saturated fat. So nature is trying to poison people. Increased saturated fat consumption also lowers risk of stroke and eating fat keeps you full and keeps you from gaining weight.
Meanwhile eating processed industrial vegetable oils clog up your arteries.
So are you enjoying full fat meals made with healthy natural fats, like butter, tallow, lard and cream?
Stop
>>7714337
>So nature is trying to poison people
obviously, living things are supposed to die
air is literally poison too
>>7714337
I know your article is dated last year, but this is incredibly old news. Anyone who actually cares about their dietary health has already known this for a long long time.
Why does food always taste better when someone else makes it?
because you're a worse cook than everyone else
Idk man some people suck ass at cooking
because it means I don't have to get out of bed
even on the cook's day off, I have my valet take over the cooking duties and he makes a bang up grilled cheese sandwich among other tasty goodies, all eaten in bed as God intended
