What's the best coffee, and why is it this?
It's always funny how Australian posters always have upside down images, but does anyone else find it even more amusing when central Americans pictures come out sideways? Like the equator isn't quite sure how to handle it?
green mountain breakfast blend because that's the only one they sell in the big box of k-cups at the grocery down the street.
dark magic is good, too.
I used to live in williston, vermont and drove into burlington every day for school then work. I drove right by their factory, it smelled fucking amazing.
What I find weird is that the left/right flip doesn't seem to happen at exactly the equator, like the coriolis effect isn't real or something.
It's the same with the toilet flush too, speaking of Cafe Bustelo.
Going to make beef stew tomorrow.
Should I slow cook over the stove or use my pressure cooker? Which is better?
Is it just me or whenever you order to go, the food seems smaller in comparison when eating in the restaurant? Am i really paranoid or maybe those containers looks really big.
I've only ever see people eat directly from them on TV shows. Eating all your shit separately defeats the point, since most people rarely order just one thing, and nearly all the dishes come with rice, which balances the dish.
Most of the Chinese places lately don't even use them and instead opt for plastic containers for everything but the white rice, since those paper containers leak every if the packer makes a slight mistake or it tips over once.
I got a bottle of America last night and the dopey bartender handed me this
I drank it but what's on this bottle? I had no idea.
What's /ck/'s favorite detox food?
Any ways to cook tofu? I find it a real success when I manage to cook tofu that I actually enjoy eating, since usually it's my go-to item at any asian place.
Because I'm a lazy college student I press the tofu for a while, then stick it in the oven to get it crispy, then stir fry vegetables and add the tofu and whatever sauce I want to use such as teriyaki or orange sauce (bite me). Then I'll usually eat this over rice and it'll be good and edible, but does anyone know awesome ways to make tofu?
I like the taste of asian grocery store tofu (which I've learned is different from organic vegan kinds)
I like to eat soft or silken chinese tofu with some sweetened grated ginger on top and some soy sauce/men tsuyu and chopped scallions
now that is a tasty snack
We are all in agreement that Potbelly's is the best sandwich chain, correct?
We produce far more food than we need, yet GMO is needed because not enough power is concentrated into the hands of a few agribusiness firms.
If you disagree with this statement, you oppose science.
Cocktail bar manager here. I'm trying to come up with some interesting non-alcoholic drinks for customers who are DDing, pregnant, recovering, or just don't want to drink. A lot of time, we wouldn't have half of our customers without DDs, so I want to give them something more exciting than a diet coke or whatever.
As of right now, we make horchata and a few rotating shrubs (watermelon basil, beet peppercorn, and peach mint are the current ones).
Any suggestions? Or favorite mocktail recipes? Or am I overthinking this?
Saurel/Hibiscus infusions are tasty and can make a good base for mocktails.

Is In n out with their nasty carboard fries really better than Carl's Jr?
It's true. I have no fucking clue why people like In N' Out's fries.
Baker's has a superior burger AND fries.
So my wife told me she did some shopping for me (which was nice) and that she got stuff to make BLT's.
Which is a bummer.
I know this is eminently searchable, but can you guys recommend any hot tips for making worthwhile BLT's? Taking any suggestions from prep to cooking tips to additional ingredients. Open to anything.
Knowing my wife, we have a loaf of whatever white bread, some Roma tomatoes, lettuce, and the best bacon that comes packaged. It's nearly as good as bacon from the meat counter--but not quite. I'm willing...

Redpill me on serrated knives /ck/
What's your favorite frozen pizza? Pic related.
I didn't know home run inn made deep dish too, their regular crust is overrated, idk why it gets shilled so much, not bad though.
I would like digiorno the most if it wasn't too doughy. Newman's thin crust is good and the costco 4 packs.
Can we have a thread about qt asians eating too much food?
I'm not bulimic nor do I have an eating disorder. I am at a healthy weight and I have an unhealthy addiction to these videos. /ck/ introduced me to Kinoshita Yuka and I want to know if there are more channels like this where there are plenty of videos and the person eating isn't a weirdo.
I've seen most of the popular mukbang stars already. Don't care if they're a girl or guy just wants to watch cute asians eat a lot
