What is the worst vegetable and why is it corn?
>taste bland as shit
>Loud as fuck to eat
>tedious, have to rotate the cob and move your mouth left and right like a fucking typewriter
>gets stuck in your teeth
>covered in stringy fibers
>taste bland as shit
Ah but we've found the problem. You seem to be an American. Do not be mistaken. American "vegetables" have no flavor. They are engineered to have no flavor, or rather I should say they are engineered to have everything EXCEPT for flavor.
The point is corn is a fantastic vegetable. You've just never eaten any.
I really want to start brewing nice teas. I just buy H-E-B brand teas like white tea and stuff. I know loose leaf teas exist(teavana and all) but I hear teavana is bad.
Who makes good tea?
Good loose-leaf tea comes from an estate, like wine.
Also like wine, tea is categorized by its general region: Assam, Ceylon, Darjeeling, and so on.
Japan and China have their own systems for their teas as well.
Don't buy branded blends of loose-leaf, find an importer who can sell you the leaf without a bunch of sprinkles and creamer added to it.
Go on, /ck/.
Have a slice.
Thoughts on this?
I think I like it.
It confuses me every time I taste it though.
Also, what's really weird is that it costs $2 even. No change, just $2.
What toppings to you put on your Tacos?
I like shredded lettuce
What else goes good on tacos?
Going to cook up some filet mignon on a pan on stove. Want to know how long I should cook for rare, I'm guessing somewhere around 4-5 min for each side with olive oil/butter on med/high?
This is my first time making dumplings, please rate me harshly.
My fat gaijin hands can't into tiny chink folds
This is probably the nicest one I made
I'm about to cook a petite filet of beef and I was wondering if this pan would work in lieu of a shallow roasting pan
Roll up a length of aluminum foil about 3 feet long and zig zag that on the bottom, then put the meat on top of that. Trust me it's worth it the meat gets a better sear on it and you have better drippings to make an au jus with.
Alright /ck/ I need your help. I ordered a pack of organic ramen and I accidentally bought the low sodium version and its bland as shit. I need ways to spice up my ramen. Preferably without adding too many calories as I am on a diet.
Why do Americans serve pasta in a bowl of water?
What does /ck/ think of Nigella? Serious replies only please.
I'm tired of J Link's bros.
What is some other good relatively affordable jerky?
This is absolutely the worst restaurant I've ever eaten in my life. You're lazy, you're stupid, and your kitchen is so filthy you're going to kill someone.
Why are you getting defensive? I'm trying to help you.
