Is there any difference in taste, when drinking beer from a bottle vs a glass?
Changes your nasal profile significantly, yeah.
>>7879452
When you pour a beer into a glass it allows the aromas of the hops, malts, and yeast to reach your nose before and during your drinks. Since smell and taste are very closely linked, it does improve taste when a beer is poured into a glass, especially a tulip or snifter glass.
>>7879452
I think pouring into a glass helps reduce some of the carbonation, which probably gives you a better idea of the beer's taste
What's your favorite Dum-Dums flavor?
Mine is tangerine.
>>7879414
Damn same here senpai

>>7879434

cream soda is the only answer desu fampai
Does /ck/ eat outside of their 3 meals? Currently having a snack at the campus food court.

Okay guys, I'm headed to Five Guys for the first time even though I literally live within walking distance. Is there anything special I need to know? Some secret menu item that I need a code word for? What do you put on yours?
>>7878432
its an overrated, expensive and underwhelming restaurant
the burgers are ok
fries have way too much seasoning
i don't see what's the big deal
>>7878446
>too much seasoning
Found the cracker ass white boy school shooter
>>7878432
not much of a secret menu, but if it's not busy you can ask them to combine whatever you want and they'll just charge you for the components.
>use 2 grilled cheeses as buns for your burger
>>7877852
>hating on based bologna cake
>people swear by nyc pizza
>go to new york for a few months
>try the pizza in the city about 12 times
>all painfully mediocre
Is new york style shit or have i just been going to the wrong places
also pic unrelated
>>7877765
Sorry you fell for the meme a anon. Yes, all NY pizza is just your eveyday, plain-jane generic pepperoni & cheese.
Literally every national chain is just as good.
>>7877765
New York style pizza can be described with a simple question: "What's the smallest amount of dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings that we can get away with?"
Cheese "sticks" are better, anyways. I bought a stand mixer, and now I eat a glutenous :-) amount of cheese bread and marinara sauce.
Do countries other than Australia have sausage sizzle?
Usually run by groups trying to raise money for one reason or another at special events, though they are permanently found outside Bunnings stores, a typical sausage sizzle is comprised of cheap sausages, in a piece of cheap white bread that may or may not have margarine on it, served with either BBQ or tomato sauce and grilled onion if desired.
Usually $2 or a gold coin donation.
Such shit quality ingredients turn into something amazing to grab when you are down at Bunnings picking up some supplies...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
yeah, the US, canada, most european countries. this is just a hotdog in white bread instead of a hot dog bun, which I'd probably actually prefer, hotdog buns are too thick. you can get those exact ingredients, with the grilled onions and ketchup, in the US.
Is OP talking about a barbecue?
which fast food chain has the best employees?
or to put it this way - which is the one with the fewest black people among their employees? there i said it.
Sir, I am black and take great offense.
Chick Fil A has the overall best customer service. Though since I live in Atlanta, there are a lot of blacks.

>or to put it this way - which is the one with the fewest black people among their employees? there i said it.
this is regional.
If there's a lot of niggers in your area, then there's going to be a lot of niggers staffing shit food service jobs.
If there's not a lot of niggers...well, then you're not going to get niggers acting as food slave now are you?
>uncle's girlfriend's kid only eats: pizza, kraft dinner, hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries
>that's it, not even cookies or cake
Should this be considered child abuse letting a kid grow up this way?
I knew a kid that wouldn't eat anything that wasn't dipped in honey. It'll fuck your kid up, that's for sure
Those are usually the foods found on the children's menu.
I used to know a guy who developed legit autism because his mom left him home alone a lot when he was a kid and when left to his own devices, he apparently ate nothing but butterdogs
Why do people on this board hate Alfredo? It's a massive improvement over Spagbol, Spaghetti noodles are the most unpleasant, and tomato sauce is not good.
fettuccine isnt much better
anything other than penne belongs in the fucking trash when it comes to alfredo
and people probably hate on it because it makes them think of olive garden or some other trash chain restaurant where its nothing but grease with terrible sauce consistency
>>7877985
I'd be willing to be even the Olive Garden Alfredo is better than the finest Sunday Gravy cooked by the oldest Italian lady that could ever be made
>>7877982
Spaghetti Bolognese is objectively the greatest pasta dish of our lives.
What foods will you never try no matter what? For me it's mussels. I see too many of them dead on the beach and they smell like shit
>this
>smells like feet
Any fungi. Anything that smells bad.
kale
it's a filler for shitty edible arrangements and the thought of consuming it makes me gag
What was the worst restaurant on this show?
I'm glad this thread is back! The last one reignited my interest in the show. I recently watched the Mangia Mangia episode. It was pretty tame as far as this show is concerned, but then... Pic related admitted to being a meth addict. I was certain for the first 3/4ths of the episode that he was just smoking weed.
He also reminded me of the handful of ugly, glasses wearing faggots I went to highschool with that were douchebags and believed they were tough shit.
>>7856844
But to follow up, this fucking idjit drove me fucking nuts.
>australian wagyu
>writes book on how his dad was an asshole
>his dad dies and leaves the family lots of money
>dude himself is a much shittier father
>steals .5 million from his son
>doesn't understand what he did wrong
I've been re-watching some of them; I totally forgot about Le Bistro with the Scottish chef who'd trained in Michelin star kitchens. Because both him & Gordon are Scottish it looked like they were an inch away from a punch-up every time they talked to each other.
Anyone currently doing or has previously done keto? I'm interested in doing it for a couple months to see if I can get a 6 pack. What sort of food can I eat that doesn't immediately occur to me? I know I can eat all meats, most cheeses, and certain vegetables, and weird shit like protein flour which is essentially equivalent to vegans and their annoying protein replacements. Keto thread
>>7878089
Are you a living, breathing meme?
My mom lost 30 lb on keto so I started last week.
I've been eating burgers, bacon, chicken thighs, broccoli and cauliflower, berries, and nuts. Homemade whipped cream is a really tasty dessert. I don't like cheese but most people eat that too.
Almond butter is lower in net carbs than peanut butter. Almond and coconut flour are both good for baking.
Yes, a couple of times.
You will feel like hammered shit, you will smell like an angry clown in a dumpster fire, but you will rapidly lose fat as long as you don't overeat
it's expensive as hell, too. hardboiled eggs, chicken thighs/whole chicken, sausage, pork chops that are steed or baked are about your best options. Nuts will tear up your asshole if you eat too many.
make friends with green salads and the toilet, drink a lot of water and don't go more than 6-8 weeks, it's not good for your kidneys
What is the saddest lunch you've ever had at work?
no lunch
expired chips out of the trash that the vending machine guy was throwing out
or
a plain loaf of bread
>>7880112
That just looks like the leftovers of poor home cooking, which is still better than what's served at most fast food and fast casual places.
Lunch from a vending machine is really rock bottom.
Dinner /ck/, you?
what's for the soup?
Just had bowl of feta salad with sides of kalamata olives, parma ham and grevé cheese. Tall glass of mommy-tier chardonnay, nicely chilled.
>>7874466
Potato and leek. First time making it and I forgot to buy cream, but still good.
>>7874395
I made a kinda stir fry thing. I marinated chicken thighs in soy sauce, Thai chilies, onions, garlic and pepper and pan fried it. I then fried some potatoes and sautéed some green onions and fresno peppers and cut up the chicken and mixed it all together. It was pretty fucking good.
