I like popcorn.
What else is worth putting on popcorn besides butter?
cinnamon and honey is pretty good.

I like putting butter and some of a chicken flavor packet from ramen noodles in there. It's really good, try it out.
Salt
why do girls like eating chocolate so much? normally they only pretend to like eating things but I can see through the deceit. however I have noticed that they actually really enjoy chocolate for some reason, there is no faking it. I'm not saying guys don't like chocolate too, they do. but girls REALLY like it
I read something once about estrogen affecting how it tastes but it could have just been bullshit. I knew a few girls who thought chocolate was really disgusting.
it releases endorphins

https://www.thrillist.com/news/nation/joes-crab-shack-eliminates-tipping-restaurants-that-dont-require-tipping
>Joe's servers will now be starting at $14 an hour -- a pay raise that will increase overall menu prices at the restaurant 12-15%, according to Restaurant Business. The same report says severs will be compensated based on their previous performance, with $14 being the entry wage.
progresssssss
>>7063271
>Implying waiters still won't bitch about not getting tipped.
My cousin is a server there and just quit to go somewhere else. Along with over half of the wait staff. I understand the frustration of the tipping system and know how overpaid some servers are making $40 an hour, but yea. If you eat there enjoy your now terrible service. This can only work if every restaurant does away with tipping, until that happens all the good servers are going to quit and go somewhere they can make better money from tips.
How do yall season your ramen?
with the seasoning packet
Drain the water, slab of butter, a bit of milk, seasoning packet, cayenne pepper, ground red pepper, lemon juice, peppercorn medley grinder.
>Basically like a faggot.
two spoons of garlic powder and some tabasco sauce
I really need to add some new types of food to my usual meals. I'm not a great cook, and I try to live (very) frugally, so it's a bit hard to come up with new ideas. I mostly eat a lot of chilis, eggs, shitty poorly made curry, sweet potato, etc. I do all my own cooking because eating out is too expensive.
I figured I'd ask you guys. What are some of your usual go to's, that most people could make? Good food and good variety is important.
i had some leftover pulled pork, so i pulled an old can of refried beans out of the cupboard, rollen bean paste and pulled pork in tortillas and fried em. prettygood taquitos
cooking's fun like art, just do whatever!

cooking is easy

When I try to get creative it usually turns out pretty poorly. I think I need more practice first. I'm not awful when I know how to make something, but I don't know how to make many things.
>>7063267
I eat a good amount of that, but I try to eat healthy too, I'm studying nutritional sciences right now. So I try to limit pasta, and you can only eat so much rice.
Have any of you ever shoplifted food before?
I'll admit that I stole from a local grocery tore when I was poor; I would walk in with a fabric bag and fill it up then pretend to use the self-checkout.
I usually steal something every time I go to the grocery store. Never been caught, but I'm good like that. Most places seem lax on security
When I was a kid I stole these daily for about 6 years, never caught
Yeah, we used to shoplift with my girlfriend since she was allowed to bring oversized purses inside. Id steal things I considered too expensive for what they were, like jabugo ham, weird cheeses and saffron.
I miss that fucking bitch.

Why are pasties so damn good?
hearty, good ingredients which taste great, mixed together and baked.
But people put far too much white pepper in it, jesus fuck it's not necessary
>>7063044
I never use white pepper, I didn't even know that was a thing
>>7063049
When I bought a pasty from a pasty shop all I could taste was white pepper, over and over again.
Especially that god awful "The Tradition Cornish Pasty Shop" is the worst place in the world to eat it.
But I'm from SW England so it muh local dish
Anyone interested in a how to on pic related? I've improved on it since the last thread. I'm going to get started and if anyone is interested I will post how to do this one.
>>7063002
Yeah why not
For some reason though it always triggers me when the rice is served beside the dish, put rhe rice on the bottom and the flavor shit on top, ESPECIALLY WITH SAUCES
>>7063002
Improved it how? Kung pao should have a shitload of dried red chillies and I can't see a single Szechuan pepper corn in there.

Hello, /ck/. New to the board, and was wondering if anyone here had any good websites for cheesecake since the one I use currently isn't cutting it.
Sorry this is a board about fast food, meme food, and YouTube celebrities. Actual cooking discussion is rarely allowed

I work as a consultant and drink an ungodly amount of coffee. At work I usually average a cup an hour. I've never had any problems with this before, but starting next week I'll be on a client in Utah for a few weeks. My understanding is that the business is Mormon owned and does not provide its workers with coffee. What do I do? Do I get some big thermoses and fill up in the hotel in the morning? Switch to caffeine pills for the trip? Hit a coffee shop every morning and afternoon? I don't particularly care about the coffee quality, but I'm going to be in...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Use pills and ween yourself off you fucking manbaby. Addiction is neither funny nor cool nor good in any way.
>yeah bro I totally need coffee bro
how about die
>>7062860
go to the local walmart or what have you and buy a cheap coffee maker and some folgers and keep it at your desk/workspace. Leave it there when you leave and i'm sure some employees will appreciate it. Mormons are usually pretty tolerant of others. Or if you're a cheap fuck and REALLY don't care just make instant coffee, but you won't do that.

How come there is no McDonalds type of franchise for chinese food? You would think that there would be one conglomerate who would want to put out of business all these chinese places.
>>7062828
panda express
>>7062831
ive heard panda express isn't that good except for their orange chicken.
>>7062835
You're being lied to. No, it's not even close to authentic chinese food, but it's in its own league. Good as fuck.
