have you fed your anime girl yet tonight?
She fed me :3
My husband was diagnosed with Celiac Disease today. I understand what that entails, but am unsure about how to go about finding suitable replacements for gluten-containing products.
What should I use if I want to:
Make a roux?
Best general use flour?
How do I use xanthan gum, I'm told that it's now important somehow?
Is there anything else I should know? I had to throw out most of the condiments in my fridge, and would really appreciate brand suggestions for gochujang, miso, and black bean paste that are gluten-free.
Can someone link a good recipe book on Amazon that isn't part of the whole gluten-free fad diet thing?
Back to basics,
how do you like your spaghetti?
I like it cooked in water with Knorr Chicken Stock Pot™. People ask me: Marco, why do you use Knorr Stock Pot™ to season your water instead of salt? Knorr Stock Pot™ makes your pasta taste better. You should try it.
Does anyone have any good alternatives to salt? Due to my health I shouldn't be using it on cooking or to season food.
Normally I cook things like pasta and hot pots. Without salt it just doesn't taste as good. Any thoughts?
How FAST does /ck/ eat their food?
I was at the bar earlier by myself and I got a burger and fries. The busser handed the food to me and I scarfed it down before the bartender even knew I had gotten served. I've noticed I eat very fast, especially when I'm eating out and even more so when I'm by myself.
Anyone else eat like this? I feel like I'm not savoring the food enough, but part of me thinks food is for sustenance purposes only. I should also note I always have a very light breakfast and lunch and tend to go HAM on dinner.
>part of me thinks food is for sustenance purposes only
>I've noticed I eat very fast, especially when I'm eating out and even more so when I'm by myself.
this is because you can't talk and eat at the same time you raging fucking autist. you don't have anything to do by yourself when you're eating out so you focus on the food and eat it.
Hey /ck/, did you know large pizzas are meant to be shared between 4-5 people? Just a heads up.
Does /ck/ like him?
I think he's quite swell. I'd say he's at the same skill level as Ramsey just minus the attitude.
I couldn't be around that guy for 30 seconds. He reminds me of a male version of that stuck up nanny bitch thattrys to correct other peoples children. He could beat the shitout of me though.
Anyone else hate "Thanksgiving Food?" I hate turkey, hate ham, can do with or without stuffing, and dont like dessert. ANyone else? Im probably just going to get some b dubz the night before and heat it up while everyone else eats turkey
i dont love it, but i make do. thanksgivings at both grandparents houses for me are about the same, dry and boring. its textbook thanksgiving, half assed. my mom does better doing turkey on a weekday in september than they do.
Soft Tofu = Flaccid penis of vegetarian

Goodbye, Dollar Menu. Hello, McPick 2.

You are halfway through eating your dinner when you glance down and notice one of these beasts dead in your food. Do you continue eating or throw all the rest of the meal away?
This happened to me today and I'm curious what others would've done.
One day somebody is going to make a sauce out of these and bottle it and get $$$.
You heard it here first.
I actually have a bunch(60) of preserves using green and red peppers, along with onions and eggplants. They are all grilled on an open fire, outer skin removed, mashed then slow cooked and spices and herbs added.
It is delicious on baguette, as a dipping sauce or as that extra kick in soups.
dear god. I'm getting dressed and going to. my. car. right. the. fuck. now. Frys better carry this!!!
dear god in heaven, will post sauce when I get back!!!! take care and hold tight friends!
>cook steak to perfection
>leave to sit for a few minutes
>eat cold steak
ill take that bait.
the temp actually rises when it's resting.
Put it in foil to keep it warm.
Heat doesnt escape food as fast as you guys think. It'll still warm enough to enjoy the flavor.
next time serve it on a hot himalayan sea salt block
I have got a wild duck, whats the best dish I can make with it?
