I'm in Japan and I saw these C3PO cup noodles, had to buy them for the novelty factor.
This could be a thread about cup noodles, or Star Wars tie-in foods, depending on what /ck/ wants. What's your favorite instant noodles, and what kind of random crap is getting Star Wars branding where you are?
These were semi-spicy "tan tan style" noodles, btw.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a huge chunk of ramen at a local Asian store.
I can say that these >>7121702 are still among my favourites. There was also this package of rice noodle pho that was really good, though of course not ramen. I also like Top Ramen, because I feel it's the easiest to to add other ingredients to. The yakisoba noodles by Nissin are among my favourites as well.
I have unfortunately not come across any Star Wars related food lately,...

nong shim just makes everything spicy to hide the fact there is no flavour go fuck off
the only thing they do right is make the cakes circles so they fit the pot
Hey guys, going to work soon. But I plan on going on a bulking diet and shit. I gotta ask, how the fuck do I make beans. Like I bought a fuckload of rice and beans, I just don't know how to make beans. Is it the same as rice?
>>7121641
Gotta soak them over night, then you can boil them in the rice.
Yeah.. soak them at least for 8 hours or so.
If you have a pressure cooker you can cook it afterwards in just about 30~45 minutes. Otherwise you can cook it in a normal pot too just put it in boiling water. It just takes way longer that way- taste it sometimes to see if it's done.
- Buy only fresh beans. If there are a lot of split beans in the bag they are not fresh. Old beans will not take up water and cook properly.
- Soak beans for at least 24 hours, draining and replacing the water as it gets cloudy. Use only cold water, which holds more oxygen and "wakes up" the beans better.
- Boil the beans on high for 10 min, then bring down to a simmer (or place in s crock pot) for a few hours.
- Don't add salt or any acid until the beans are soft.
Just a friendly reminder: if you drink your coffee anyway but black, you're basically a fag. Pro tip-yes I did take these cups from best western.
I agree with this. Real men drink black coffee.

Triple mocha peppermint Starbucks fag detected
Hey guys, so I was digging around in my pantry and I found I had some spring roll wrappers I must have picked up. This looks pretty identical to the ones I have and was too lazy to take my own pic.
Does anyone have any good spring roll recipes? Or ideas of what to put in them? I'm roasting a turkey right now because we went over my Aunt's for Thanksgiving so I've got to make my turkey now.
Also, are they supposed to look like paper? They feel very, very weird.
You soak them until they're pliable, then stuff them with stuff.

Thanks for the link, it reminded me I also have some shrimp in the fridge I want to cook up.
Have you ever made spring rolls before? That link says to eat them like they are, but could I also fry them? Obviously I'd have to let them dry out before I do because I need to soak them to make them pliable.
I'm thinking about cooking up the shrimp and chopping them to put in the rolls, but I don't have rice noodles, or any Asian vegetables on me, and I don't want to run out to the store.
Any suggestions on what I could put in them instead?
Why is /ck/ so obssesed with fast food?

I had a fight with RED ROBIN finally, I posted before how they jew you on their 'bottomless fries'. I first tell the woman, can you bring me a basket of fries, while I wait for the food.
She says theyre not allowed to do that, then walks away abruptly. I was about to tell her, if it's such a big deal ill pay more!
Well then the food comes to me, and its a small cup of like 5 fries. Im like, can you bring me a couple basket to avoid flagging you down while im already done this shit.
She says they can only bring more after my cup is done. So...

Wish more people would stand up to kind this jewing. When will we stop calling chicken nuggets boneless chicken wings?
There are rules for a reason and the world doesn't revolve around you. The fries are bottomless and are portioned correctly when brought to the customer.

I can eat six White Castle sliders with a medium fry, and that's double patties on all. What about you?
A case of bacon, jalapeño-cheese sliders. No fries because WC has the worst fucking fries in the galaxy.
>>7121181
Man I admire your half bacon and jalepeno preference, as it is mine too. However WC fries have grown on me so much, they are like school cafeteria fries and it comforts me
>>7121192
>half bacon and jalapeño
What? I get bacon and jalapeño-cheese on all 30 burgers.
Maybe my school's different, but we had decent fries at mine. Still from frozen, of course, but they were crispy and delicious. WC fries are always so soggy and, because they don't salt them enough once freshly out of the fryer, bland. You can't do much to season fries unless they're fresh from the fryer because the seasonings, including salt, won't stick much otherwise.
Tell me what to make for breakfast you fucks

Why are chicken nuggets considered strictly children's food?
Presumably an adult is capable of cooking his own damned chicken and isn't reliant upon the kid's menu at McDick's for sustenance.
Because of r9k
Because they're bland as fuck, have a uniform, slightly mushy texture, and are typically dipped in sugary sauces.
That's basically the transition toddlers make from mushy vegetables to solid food.
Sorry manchild, people have good reason to judge you for eating off the kids menu.
Guy at the dispensary said it has a gram of BHO or about 100MG in it.
How long do I have to go? I ate it 20 minutes ago.
Also anyone on /ck/ make edibles?
It was crazy chewy and tasted a lot like marijuana
I bought this one too but haven't tried it. Never tried edibles before so this will be my first time

I would say 30 mins and youll be high as fuck.
Is it possible to "cook" McFries tier fries at home?
What kind of temperature, method, potato and oil do i need for this? (i have all kinds of temperature meters and timers and scales and shit)
Can i do better by increasing the amount of technical autism? (like that Heston method where he cooks them and freezes and then cooks again or something like that)
Literally googling, "McFries tier fries at home" brings up the article about how to do it which has been around for half a decade and posted on /ck/ many times.
>>7121057
I only get links from 2015, which is that article? Google results can be different depending on locale, search history and stuff.
>>7121057
McFried are probably twice fried if I were to guess, once to cook at low temp then flash fry to order
