Sakuran. It's about the life of an oiran in 18th century Edo. Anna Tsichuya plays the bitchy heroine, and it was the directorial debut of photographer Mika Ninagawa (who also directed music videos for AKB48).
It's not about J-fashion specifically, and there's a lot of sad and tragic moments in the story. But the opulence of the costumes and the photography would appeal to a lot of people in J-fashion.
Princess princess D live action has the guys wearing actual lolita and looking super cute, too.
