I'm going to be generalizing a bit based on my anecdotal observations but would it be appropriate to say that in terms of east coast vs west coast:

West coast:
- People put on more of a front / fake image on average
- Are generally friendlier and warmer but it may be less sincere
- More of a party culture

East Coast:
- More cosplay centric
- Reserved and a bit more socially conservative
- More cases of passive aggressiveness

Native to the Midwest and have been to cons both on West and East coast, so here's some observations I've made on both.

>East coast cosplayers are really cliquey, entitled, and generally more petty.

>Cosplayers on the West coast tend to be more relaxed and easier to get along with, but have no filter (not necessarily a bad thing). Not speaking for anyone under 18 though.
