I have a pair of all-black sclera lenses for a thing this Saturday. They're made from the same material as many other soft contact lenses, just a bit larger. I won't tell you they're comfortable because they're irritating as fuck, but if you know how to put contacts in, there's no reason they should damage your eyes. Unfortunately, I had never used contacts before, so it was a steep learning curve.
Then again, this is my first cosplay and I bought a wig from Party City, so anything past the safety of using the contacts isn't really something I could comment on.

Look into Keto dieting. (I'd even go as far as to recommend the Keto subreddit, it's pretty helpful)
You can pretty much eat bacon and eggs for breakfast if you want to with this diet. It's mainly about eating higher amounts of fat+protein and being wary of/eating less carbs and calories.
I usually struggle with diets but this one is easier to maintain. I just don't feel hungry after that initial first week anymore. You can do it!!!
