A lot of this info isnt known since it all depends on the brand and how many outfits they bring. They dont really release how many they will choose until they choose, and how to apply will come out with the model call info.
As for competition, you need to fit into Vm, so that will cut out a bunch of people who dont fit into that brand.

I do not find them that restricting, I think there is a feel that they are but their measurements themselves are normal and on par with other brands. I am skinny fat and can fit into their stuff. You are best to look at some stuff in lolibrary and see if realistically it will fit you.

Waist Measurements are usually 64 to 72cm max
Most of their items are on the smaller end of that scale, especially stuff released this year for some reason.

about a decade go they were very restricting, however over the past few years their sizes have become more reasonable by western standards. Not all their pieces will fit most western frames but there is a fair selection now. I remember being devastated that most waists came to 24 inches but now some will go up to 26, 28... giving me some leeway for blouses and bending.
you just have to be diligent in reading measurements. Another tip is that they measure the outside of the garment so even if it says 27 inches and you are 27 inches it will not fit since the inside measurement my be 26.5 inches.

Like if we just set up our own by ourselves, in an area that is not taken up by the official shoots - would it be okay? The deadline for setting up an official one was March.
