The issue isn't that they can't sell their shoes. The problem is that it's a sales forum, not your personal q+a, not the friend finder thread, not the wardrobe post, not the lolita mentor group. When people get a question that's not related to selling: one, they're going to feel annoyed and dislike you for it, and two, it reeks of you either being socially awkward or just being mental, not knowing what's appropriate, so they're going to want to keep their distance.
Same as this post not belonging in a thread where people are trying to buy and sell things, not answer your questions about sales etiquette. If you want to continue asking questions, take it to lolita general, or make a new thread about it. Don't get in the way of buyers and sellers.

I know it usually goes for $170 upwards, but the staining is very severe so I would pay much less than what you're selling it for, expectially for a very popular taobao piece which is easy to obtain. Especially since I got mine for less than that when it was new. If it wasn't that stained ID say it's an great price, but the staining just isn't worth it!
