I used transparent pvc as a base and sprayed it with black paint. I used a minimum amount of paint on the spot where my eyes are (between the small rectangles) so I can see at least something. Granted, everything looked pretty blurry but my vision was better than I first expected.

I'm working on my arms right now! If anyone remembers, I'm the anon that shared my idea of making Mettaton's arms with a shittily drawn picture. My idea was to have a layer of black on the bottom and silver strips sewn on the top. Here's what I have so far, I still need to turn it into an actual sleeve and attach it to the shirt.

For a more tough look, maybe go for a brighter blue paint and contour your cheekbones, temples, and jawline, sort of similar to "male" contouring in this pic.
