i will not argue that his style is outdated, but he set/popularized the look for gothic lolita, which is an accomplishment not to be taken lightly. in 20 years i am sure Marie Dauphine's coords will be judged as inferior to whatever the new gothic lolitas are doing.

I feel like this would look better with a full length skirt rather than the typical lolita knee length silhouette. I feel that way for a lot of more mature/ elegant looks, but the full length veil especially makes it seems like the dress should be longer.
