Hey that's actually me. I guess that's the problem with these threads, but I mentioned in my post that my tights are white and I should switch them out with solid white tights since the colour doesn't show well in photos (I've also got a white blouse on if it helps). As for the hair, I'm pretty awful at hairstyles, so like I said in my post, any suggestions would be appreciated!

I think her coords have improved a bit. Her shoes actually suit lolita this time. I think some frilly socks would help since she's so styled on top, but the bottom is missing some detail. Maybe if she curled her bangs like how Rise styles her hair for Larme it would look better, too. I do think the soft colours look nice on her.

Risa Nakamura does a good example of this for her Larme stuff that I think would look nice on you. Are you mistaking her for someone else? She doesnt seem to have much of a handmade wardrobe, mostly brand. She can sew but that is a skill from cosplaying, and if that makes her inspirational then you have low standards. Like a lot of girls like her, even if her skill in sewing is good her designing is meh at best, very F+F like at times.
It is also her cosplay background that makes her 'goth' outfits off too, her makeup is one of the things she needs work on, it is passable with cosplay but is weak in lolita.

I feel the same way about OTT ouji that some girls feel about OTT sweet. Like the outfit itself is very beautiful, the sewing is impressive, the pirate theme is well executed, but what the actual fuck. I read the description and aparently this was for an ILD event, so going all out is understandable, but this style is just so bizarre and unwearable.
