i will probably associate the Fate series with Christmas now since i watched three of the anime series during this Secret Sanra process. my favorite so far is probably Fate/Zero. i missed the dynamic between Goldie and Saber in Unlimited Blade Works, but enjoyed the ways it was different from Stay/Night otherwise.
also as it turns out, they did create one of the characters i thought would make a good servant, King David. they made interesting character design choices, which i am unsure how i feel about, but i am pleased the concept exists.

The brooch/clip is amazing. It seems to absorb light so pardon the unclarity of the photo, the metalwork is hefty and detailed though it is difficult to see. The accidental missing jewel can be easily replaced!

Asking here because I made a couple of penpals on here - what would you do if you were gifted a secondhand figure? I finally got around to editing my Secret Santa pictures! I'm so sorry, santas! I got so busy with work, I wasn't able to get all my thank you notes out and post pictures.
Well here they are! I was in the $5-10 bracket and I sent and received 5 gifts. I also sent two cards and didn't receive any cards, but that's not too bad. I consider it a success!
