The posts in this thread are quite inconsistent but you're right about the dark outlook. Things can feature cute girls in a BDSM or gore situation and people could consider it gurokawaii but it would have to be at least Japanese inspired in the style as that's the kawaii part.

For what it's worth, HTF is decently popular in Japan and they sometimes come out with Japan-exclusive goods and such for it. Kyary did a collaboration with them a few years ago.

Most artists don't care as long as it isn't for profit and you credit them when asked, they usually state on their website when using the prints isn't allowed. I got some fabric paint for Christmas, and I wanted to make something kinda suiting for the fashion. I've been brainstorming a bit, but I can't really think of much that's not too hard to make (I'm not an artist, I used to draw a bunch but I'm not that good).
Best idea I had so far was making it look like the skin was open around the chest exposing the rib cage, and then having things like maybe candy or stuff inside. It's not great, so I if someone here have any ideas tor simple dressings I would be delighted to hear them!

I don't want to hinder your creativity but it is really hard to paint onto a t-shirt without it looking terrible unless you're going for a punk look. Maybe practice on an old one to see if you can get your lines clean first. If you Google around you'll find a lot of imagery exactly like you just described easily to set you off, it's pretty classic.

At the age of 12, i've always wanted to do something with animal skulls. So now I was thinking, Together with a menhera style, would a necklace of a real animal skull look nice?
Planning on cat or lizard, If I ever get a new one.
Then I can carry him/her around everywhere, and won't be sad of it's death!
(Of course, after he/she die of age and the like. I'd never harm a pet. Cleaning the bones properly as well.)

You're genuinely asking if this niche fashion, which will probably not last more than a few years, will accept that you want go and buy an animal purely to wait until it dies (maybe as long as a decade or two) so that you can scrape out it's head and make a huge necklace?
Gutterface does that shit and it's not received well, they are suspected of killing animals to wear, not to mention hygienically cleaning animal bones is more than just scraping and boiling.
If you have an interest in taxidermy and you're planning on being ethical about it then that's great, but don't try and shoe horn it into kawaii desu fashion. There are a few gothic makers of similar things you can find with a quick Google, but it's not relatable here.

Sure, animal skulls can be really beautiful, but if you want one, go out in the woods and look for one. Or get a fake one.

Also, I can't imagine how someone who's healthy could take their dead beloved pet, chop it's head of, boil and scrape the fuck out of it, seeing little pieces of what you used to love and care for disappear by your hand
