I think I can help.. The cream coat looks off with the dress and the tights, although match the theme, look very off with the color scheme. Maybe cream tights instead to match the coat? Oh no D: When you're of that size you need to be extremely conscious of how things lay on your body. An empire waistline was designed to make women look pregnant after the Queen of England during the time got pregnant, that's how the style started. So wearing it when your already fat makes you look even rounder.
The lace sleeves look strained at the top and I'm sure she's picked the right size for her, it's just the pattern. The scalloped edges give the illusion that her arms are wider. The ruffles on the forearm keep her entire arm very heavy and ensure there's not a bit streamlined or petite any where. The ruffles are not voluminous enough to look like a dramatic choice, they just look awkward.
The lace of the tights doesn't match the lace any where else, and since a good portion of her outfit is drawing attention to the pattern of the lace on her shirt the bottom doesn't go.
This has nothing to do with fitting her body type, but the head pieces don't go together. She should leave the crown and add cream pearls to it to match the dress and ditch the wings and black bow.

I love them. I think it adds a certain alt feel to a coord that can often assert that the wearer is alternative and is not wearing a costume. A lot of lolita just ends up looking costume-ish. But with a tattoo it's just like " oh she's a wirdo and not playing dress up" same thing goes for piercings.
