feel free to make offers, the prices listed are just what i paid
For the anons who were having trouble finding the heart window backpack, I found two sellers by searching 心形物 背包. Debating whether to buy it on taobao though since it's pretty pricey after factoring in the fees and shipping.
>>8736086
Not sure who you're talking to (might be cause I'm a noob) but these bags are originally from wego, and are still in stock in white :)
http://gocart.jp/ap/item/i/A0GC000016T6
>>8736100
Other anons in the previous threads were talking about finding it on taobao and at one US site, didn't know they were originally from Japan. Thanks for the link! Think everything except purple is sold out though?
>>8736501
It looks like a pre-order to me.
There's also this, which I thought was SUPER cute, and it's still available in all colours. I know some people don't like furry textures for bags though--I know I dread it potentially getting dirty...
http://gocart.jp/ap/item/i/A0GC00002JVE
How do you guys keep your keychains/charms from flipping around? I have a couple of one-sided charms on my bag and they keep flopping around to the blank back side when I carry the bag around.
>>8736609
Seconding this, mine are always on the wrong side. I've got some that are on the little ball chains and some that are on string.
I have a question for those who have completed itabags, did you keep track of what they ended up costing you or could you estimate?
Breakdown not necessary but wouldn't mind seeing it if you have it.
>>8736632
kaidan!anon here. i've not got any charms on my bag (...yet), and this includes the hoodie and shirt i've got to go with my bag, but so far it's cost roughly £270, which is US$408 / €385 in shit-tier currency
>>8736937
shit forgot the breakdown
>base bag - £20
>badges - £170
>alliance logo patch - £5
>hoodie - £50
>t-shirt - £30
so the bag itself was only £195, really.
>>8736632
A LOT. Even making one while in Japan....cost me a pretty penny. For my bag + charms just on my bag calculated around 16000 yen ($130 USD) I have spent way more than this though, cause I have more in the mail/collected for a second bag.
This is a really addictive hobby....
Finally assembling my Yukio bag. I had to add and subtract some jump rings from the keychains to space it out nicely but I like it it. The fabric patch is kinda weird though I should have photoshopped the background cyan before printing it out. That being said the print and fuse fabric came out super clean.
>>8737076
Also was super excite because I have a friend in Osaka right now who was going to check for the new can badges at the Jump store and she sent back this pic. Despair.
>>8735888
Good luck anon! I'd buy some for my cellphone but the international shipping for me is pretty bad.
>>8736632
I made most of mine while in Japan also, and have since ordered some more stuff from Y!J and it's clocking in at ~$300 at the moment.
>>8736632

Black Friday sales in charms/bags or something related with ita bags? Somebody knows any web with sales for this?
Is there an MFC type site for more Western media merch?
Ex. I tried to find some WoW characters and search gave nothing
>>8736618
Crap, I was way too excited and I already put the pre-order in. Oh well.
At least I ended up adding a bunch more WEGO stuff to my order in the end!
Does anyone have inspiration pics of bags with several characters? It's really hard for me to just pick one husband..
For Gudetama anon, there's a Funko for it now!
/r/ing some Haikyuu itabags. Tsukishima preferably
>>8738691
Which SS did you use? I'm still tempted to buy the bag since I don't want a huge itabag but still want to show my love for my husbando.
>>8738006
Think TOM and some Western based anime sites are having small discounts, nothing really big though. And some storenvy/tictail stores are having sales if you look on their twitters.
>>8738769
sorry it's not Tsuki but here's my hinata one. I just got some more things to add in the mail the other day
>>8739128
my favorite ever
>>8739131
>>8739132
Has anyone seen a Super Sonico one? I'd love to create one, but don't have any inspo
>>8739140
unusual pairing on this one
>>8739143
>>8739147
The other side of the sugawara one
>>8739148
that's all i could find on tumblr. Someone in an earlier thread was making a tanaka one, I really hope they'll share it when they finish!
>>8737081
What are can badges? I saw some pop up on Y auctions but are they just like pins?
>>8739223
Yeah, everything that I have that's called a can badge is just a metal button.
>>8739223
For some reason they are called can badges in the Japanese stores. I think it's either because they sometimes come as prizes with vending machine drink cans or they are made from the same material.
>>8738769
I don't have any Tsukki ones, but I do have a few I've saved from past threads!
>>8739240
>>8739242
And the most glorious Ita Phone ever.
Dumping some itabags a lady makes for bjds
>>8739142
I haven't seen one but you may as well just look at merch and inspire yourself. I'd like to see one so I found some things which are in stock.
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIG-COL-7125
Max quantity of 12 per order so you can get multiples if you like that look.
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=GOODS-00045823
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=GOODS-00050137
These are from a Miku collaboration so the outfits might clash a bit but the style is nice. Check related items for the others in stock. The artist has done keychains in more casual outfits which are really cute but I have no idea where to get them.
http://myfigurecollection.net/search.php?artist_strict=1&artist_id=62995
http://global.rakuten.com/en/search/?sm=2&k=%E3%81%9D%E3%81%AB%E5%AD%90&l-id=gs_product_search&sid=auc-terraformer
A few straps.
Also just check the Goods category on MyFigureCollection under Sonico to see the stupid amount of merch that you could track down. Sorry for text.
>>8739351
Oh this is really cute. This inspires me a bit - I sort of like the idea of making an "itabag" style wallet or something with tiny merch rather than going full hog on a bag.
>>8739240
I want to do an itabag like this!
>>8739148
I like how they added the towel/screen cleaner to it. Nice to figure out a way to use non-traditional merch.
>>8739243
You get your work out carrying that around.
>>8739243
I thought my phone looks ridiculous but wow it's nothing compared to this monstrosity
>>8738770
I used Chibi Tenshi since I basically use her for everything. I was debating on using Japonica Market, but I've been having some communication issues with them lately, and I don't mind paying a bit more for reliable service.
I got my bag for my idolish7 itabag!
Now I just have to wait for merch to release...
Also artmoo cosmetic bags I made before
>>8740104
>that sad mini inside bag
That's what happened with my bag as well. The inside bag they showed looked like it took up most of the clear bag and instead I got a tiny thing that holds maybe ten items, max.
>>8740115
Yeah, there's too much empty space.
I'm probably either finding a larger bag sometime or printing a design if I find another artpoo coupon.
>>8740184
If you can basic sew, you could custom print some fabric and make a liner for the bag? I've been thinking about doing that.
How do people get so many of one badges? It seems like many times badges will only come in a set meaning you have to split the characters you don't want with others.
What's the best way to get individual badges other than MFC?
>>8740272
Second hand stores. I think a lot of places that sell gachapon and blind boxes in akiba also have buy backs. And I've ended up seeing a lot of japanese twitter accounts dedicated to selling extras from some sets in multiples. Sadly none of them seem to want to deal with gaijin.
>>8740274
Damn, I'd pay for a shopping service that could pick up a ton of buttons for me.
>>8740272
Auctions are definitely the easiest. There's always a ton of listings on YAJ with multiples of the same buttons.
>>8739143
>pairing
there's three characters in it
>>8740418
Never heard of OT3?
>>8739460
>>8739487
Customer photo I found
>>8740693
That's adorable. Looks like they're perfect for keychains as well.
>hang an itabag off your itabag
>>8740693
Offtopic: what is the name of that dolls? No BJD, right?
>>8740782
Those are either DD or Obitsu.
>>8735888
Hey Anon, I really dig the marine morning tote bag ... do you have an estimate on how much shipping it to Germany would cost?
>>8740693
Fucking creepy, that's what.
>>8740693
These are awesome. Now if you had a BJD of the character, carrying the bag, would that be too much or just the perfect level of faggotry inception?
>>8740104
I love seeing art cow stuff honestly. Wish they were cheaper though.
Has anyone trying printing bags and stuff through alibaba? How does that work out usually?
>>8740896
Artmoo has a ton of sales going on right now and they always have ridiculous deals/coupons throughout the year. I've never heard of anyone actually making stuff for full price.
speaking of art cow does anyone have pics of all-over print ita clothes? I want to make some myself and I could use some inspiration, right now all I have is Pearl-anon pics
>>8740894
perfect would be liking a ship and having a BJD of one of them carrying a bag of the other.
>>8741352
>all-over print ita clothes
I wish I had some inspo for you but I think we're the ones that started this sort of thing so other than other anons like Rin-anon (who I haven't seen post in a while) and the few WIPs people have posted on past threads, I think that's about it.
The Japanese anons I've seen with ita clothing have been using cosplay stuff or color-coorded outfits or straight up armor out of merch.
>>8741352
sorry about the bad picture but here is my ita fit
>>8740418
sorry i have to confess I didn't look that closely, just saw the two big badges on the side and thought it was odd.
>>8741415
Husbando fashion for life.
>>8741415
Love the color scheme, makes it look like faded jean.
Right now I'm debating between Makishima and the Pillarmen for a swimsuit.
>>8741442
Yeah I decided to go with AI Jack rather than regular ol because I though it would make a more cohesive look. If you made a pillarmen swimsuit you would be my favourite person that would be such a look. Also got the fabric to make my bag and hopefully this commissioner comes through so I can get back on the saddle making this bag.
>>8741352
rin anon also had an outfit shot, but it's not too clear
>>8741458
Fuck, I need to make printed tights for my T&B ita outfit.
>>8741458
This inspires me to make some lewd doujinshi tights.
>>8740896
Anon, look up their sales/coupon codes.
I got myself a a tank top of my husband for 99 cents shipped
>>8741576
>>8741709
i want tights like these so bad but i don't think my photoshop skills are good enough...
>>8741976
It would just be a lot of background removal and compositing. I'm not sure how big the image would have to be though and the above example isn't even repeated on the front which means you'll need a lot of images unless you go somewhat symmetric.
>>8741352
I'm working on a dress, I'm ordering tomorrow and will post pictures of it as soon as it arrives!
>>8742011
i guess i'm mainly worried it'll look ugly.
>>8742022
Might be easier to work with doujin scans so you won't need to mess with colours if you don't know how to do that. I looked at ArtCow and each leg needs to be 3000 x 6000 though so you're going to be needing high quality things at large sizes or you'll be working on the graphic forever.
Does anyone know what those two piece badge/button things are called? The ones where you can stick a sticker in it to make it a badge. I got a laminated coaster and I really like the design on it but it's way too thin to put on my bag by itself.
>>8740887
Doll fag here, they're both custom Dollfie Dreams.
>>8742049
>decking out my room in rin
Holy shit, please share pictures.
I've only printed cards and invitations with them but Zazzle has some custom print deals today too.
>>8741576
I would so buy lewd dj tights and wear with normal fag fash see if people notice
has anyone considered making an ita-christmas-tree?
>>8743504
I kinda need to see this for research and reasons
>>8743504
Funny you mention that - I just bought shit at target tonight for a tree! I'm not too invested though, I only bought a table top tree, but they had several different colors, it was tempting to buy another one for a different character/series.
>>8743504
I saw someone making a Kaiba + Blue eyes one yesterday and I really love it.
My (super) slow progress of my first bag.
I think my next step is commissioning like crazy and saving up for a button maker.
What do you think of the bag? Do you think 11x14 is too small? I thought making a chibi might be cuter than a full detailed image because I won't feel as guilty if this gets covered by pins.
I own quite a bit of Tales merch already that I'm debating doing a bag for it.
Any other pics of bags for a series as a whole as opposed to one or two characters?
>>8743564
The base tree is so sad looking... It would have been better to get a smaller tree that didn't look so pathetic.
>>8740694
i like the glowsticks! i think they would be a really good addition to a alien character or a character whos design is very neon
>>8743712
It's not as busy as itabags but it looks ok to me.
>>8743504
I actually have been doing that around every year! When I get my Christmas tree this year I'll post a pic of my ita-tree.
I'm trying to put together an amiami order with backordered items and pre-order items. I'm triyng ot figure out how to lump them into the same shipment do I use "combine with monthly order" or "ship with this order" or some other combination? It keeps putting both types in separate shipments
>>8743800
You can only combine preorder and instock/backordered products from the same month. You should really read their FAQ since it answers pretty much every possible question. They will not hold stock for you until the preorder date.
>>8743748
My issue isn't the amount of stuff on the tree... It's the tree itself
I'm planning on making some ita print clothes but what would be the best site to do it on?
>>8743615
The bag is cute and I own that clear one, actually. Here's a picture of what it looks like and so glad you're not using the bonus bag inside it because they're notoriously smaller than the sales images.
If your tote bag works good with the clear bag, let me know since I've been iffy on whether or not to make a tote for mine or just scrap the whole thing and get a new bag.
>>8744158
ArtsBovine I think is the best because the print quality overall seems to be good and they're constantly giving out coupons so you can get a tanktop for $1 and discounts on everything else.
Here's my tree. Unfortunately I'm hosting dinner at my house this year, so I couldn't have a full size fandom tree, and I had to keep it PG - the last thing I need to do is explain BL to my conservative parents. It also serves as a nice temporary home for the badges that aren't on a bag right now.
>>8744516
That is the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen.
Not as impressive as this >>8739243 , but got my first batch of merch (going for a general sports anime theme).
Do you guys wear your ita bags out?
>>8744516
That's amazing, wow.
>>8745051
I plan on using mine out and I definitely wear my outfit out just because I work weekends have very little chances to take off for cons.
>>8745051
Just for cons so far. I plan to bring one or both on my japan visit in the spring but wI'll probably only bring thme out in akiba or nakano.
>>8744297
Thanks for the pic of your bag! I always get nervous ordering stuff there's no feedback for. Yeah, Ive heard many people on the thread complain the inside bag is too small.
I was thinking of wiping one side clean of the polkadots, and keeping the polkadots for the back side.
Does anyone have experience with this type of button making kit? Is it relatively easy to use or is it very frustrating?
>>8745051
Mine is just for conventions right now. Once everything from my Taobao order arrives I'll have a bag for every day of con and outfits to go with them.
>>8745046
May you never lose a single charm, anon.
>>8745124
Don't forget Ikebukuro!
>>8745129
The general consensus is that they're shit, and you're lucky if 2/10 badges come out well. But they are way cheaper than Tecre, which are the main ones people get (I have one and it is perfect).
>>8745172
Oh shit duh. I saw my first real itabag in Ikebukuro, for Basugay of course.
>>8745243
Ikebukuro is also itabag shopping heaven. I spent so much time there putting my bag together during my trip.
>>8745051
I plan to make an everyday itabag and some super itabags just for cons or events/outings
I have a button maker. Would any seagulls be interested in getting buttons made for their itabags through /cgl/? I could just charge for shipping + button parts because turning a profit from other people's art/official art sounds shady as hell.
>>8745046
Bless you for having PoT stuff, anon
>>8745051
My itabag is one of my 2 'everyday' bags that I switch between. I enjoy carrying it around and using it more than I would just keeping it for cons.
>>8745143
From your keyboard to the universe's eyes, anon! I've never been one to collect anime merch bc I'm afraid of loosing/damaging it, but it gets really boring if you can't use it so...
>>8745570
PoT was my first subbed anime so it has a special place in my heart (no matter how ridiculous it got lmao)
>>8745423
Interested. I was planning on using MooArt but their shipping kind of kills the free button offers. I'd love some Yukio buttons where he doesn't have the handguns. Laser cutting is my thing so maybe I could send you something cool as a thank you. This is my throw-away email.
On Amiami wth is a pencil board?
Pencil case?
Hard or soft?
>>8745706
Those are thin plastic boards (hard, but can warp) that you slide under the paper you're writing on so that the ink doesn't blot onto the next sheet. See also "shitajiki board"
>>8745706
Pencil boards are used to go in between pages in notebooks so you don't dent pages behind the one you're working on. Don't know if people actually use them that way or just as small posters.
/r/ any Diabolik Lovers bags as I try to tell myself I only need a Reiji bag and possibly a 2nd with Subaru and Kanato....
This hobby might actually require a 2nd job to fuel my overseas shopping needs
>>8745719
There's not usually product pictures for things as they're not made yet. Even lots of the images for the figures aren't the finalised product.
You can just google the terms on Google Images to get some kind of grasp on what certain products are. If it's an older product then searching in Japanese or checking MFC might give you some buyer photos.
>>8745423
Bless you, anon! I have an artist friend who said she'd make me some buttons when her computer got fixed but if that falls through in the next few weeks, I'd definitely commission you. How much do button parts run say for a dozen buttons?
>>8745670
>I'm afraid of loosing/damaging it
I had some charms of various weeb things on my phone back when I was a tomboy and just carted my phone around in my back pocket. I was so proud of those charms and straps until we went to a store on vacation and when I pulled my phone out to check a text, the entire thing of merch was gone. I checked the entire store for it but never found it.
Been paranoid ever since so now I just keep my No Face charm on there by itself.
Sousuke anon, if you're here.. I know why now. Hot damn.
>>8746799
ayyyy
his facial expression and head proportions are a bit off, so i'm still deciding whether i want to preorder him or not
in other news, his official character plush was announced

>>8747141
>his facial expression and head proportions are a bit off
I ain't looking at his face yo
(Yeah no that's what always puts me off buying figs, but I'll admit I was really tempted with him bc his head/face is not...what i noticed first...)
>>8747141
Cute as fuck, anon. I'd take me about three of them otter ones.
>>8747208
Anon, I tried to make sense of this URL four different ways and all of them came up with no valid link.
What the hell did you mean? I tried switching bovine to cow and then back again for just about every url combo I made and then finally gave up and just went to arts bovine's regular flash sale page.
Someone be that hero and make an itafashion onesie.
>>8747310
i was so ready to jump on the preoder until his painted pics came out. at least his underwear is cute kek
i'm hoping they'll tweak his face at least, but i'll probably end up getting him either way, no matter how much i'm complaining about it now
>>8747353
yes! momo is such a cutie
>>8747361
onesies are somewhat harder to wear in public without looking like a pleb
though, i can imagine it'd be fun to have a sleepover with other itafashion buddies, with everyone wearing their own onesies
>>8747361
where is this from?
>>8747360
I guess I had to hack it up too many times because 4chan wouldn't stop pinging me for spam.
>>8748235
ArtsBovine
>>8748249
i think putting liberal in just confused people.
Tfw you wanna create an itabag for your husbando from your super weeb days because he still holds a special place in your heart. But there is barely any merch of him.
>>8748944
dont talk like that anon
youve just got to believe in yourself
>>8748944
Do it. Do it now. Get a gold chain, get some of his signature cards, put those little bastards in plastic packets and then clip them to the chain. Bam! Instant front piece for your itabag and all you need to do is add some buttons and shit.
Also if you can hunt down some cosplay merch of his like the earrings or a patch for the forehead mark, get those and slap them on the bag as charms.
I will draw you a fucking ms paint drawing of shit if I have to in order to convince you to follow your goddamn husbando dreams.
>>8748949
Looking fabulous, anon! Also is that a pompadour hairstyle?
>>8748944
The rubber strap of him is his is pretty cool so you could probably track down copies of it and then make your own badges.
There's a cute Millennium Puzzle pin badge on Amiami and HLJ if you want to find other things to fill space.
http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?auccat=&&p=%E9%97%87+%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AF&x=0&y=0
Two rubber straps and three ball chains are up. Not a fan of the ball chain though.
>>8748949
IS THAT A POMPADOUR
>>8748997
>>8749042
... sure lets go with that
>jesus christ i really need a haircut
>unintentional husbando hair
>>8749046
Clearly you need a pompadour. You'd rock it.
>>8748949
You look really great anon I like seeing it all together!
>>8748995
Thank you so much for the encouragement kind anon. And thank you again for the suggestions. All of them are damn wonderful. Definitely doing the card thing.
>>8749023
Thank you as well anon. And found his rubber strap! I just wish I knew how to operate Y!Japan. Do you need a shopping service? I'm a little new to all of this.
>>8749643
For Y!J, you'll need a shopping service. They're really easy though! The big ones are Buyee, FromJapan, and my person favourite (that I've been using for 10 years) is ShoppingMallJapan. There's pros and cons of each, just depending on what you want to do. I personally think SMJ is the easiest to use/set up/bid with, but their base fees are $6 so things can get pricey pretty fast.
FromJapan has the cheapest fees, but I'm not as fond of their deposit system and you have to pay within 24hrs.
Buyee also has low fees, but has fees to consolidate items which is why I've never used them personally.
>>8748944
>my husbando
I have two copies of his exact deck from the show and the Marik's starter deck and as well as the gravekeepers deck so I might do what >>8748995 and do that thing with the cards. However I do feel bad for mistreating my cards. Also http://www.shapeways.com/designer/vaguelygenius?li=pb has some 3D printed earrings and minitures of the other Millennium pieces that you can add to your bag.
Also artsbovine can be helpful in making buttons. And since yami Marik is best, you can a whole bag with just scenes from pic related.
>>8749721
Oh my god his facial expressions are the best. Maybe I'll do two bags. One with pins of just his most ridiculous faces and the other with just stuff I want on there. There must be two now. Thank you anon for the indirect idea.
>>8745209
Aw dang. Guess I'll have to keep saving for one of those then. I don't want to waste money on that if I could save for the real deal.
I really am having a hard time finding second hand ones. I wouldn't care if I found a used one, I just don't want to spend $200 on a button maker for one bag ya know?? Or on a hobby. If I were doing it for profit, that would be one thing, but idk if i can commit to more than this bag for just now.
>>8749659
There's also Japonica Market, which imo is a lot better than Buyee and FromJapan.
Crossposting this >>8749792
here in case anyone is interested in tossing me some ideas.
>>8749766
I mean... I've spent over $200 on my bag and all the merch. if you're into an obscure series it's worth it.

You can also commission some from people with button makers! Someone earlier in this thread offered it, and I'm sure if you post in the AA thread you'd be able to find some people too. I've thought about offering it for itabags specifically as well, I have a 1.25" machine.
Does any one know of a place that does custom print thigh highs? The only place I've found so far has a min. Order of 6 so it would be a crazy high cost when I only need one pair.
My maki bag came in. I drew and sent the order in last week. I was looking at my design again and i kinda regret not giving him his pointy chin. I dont like them in my art. The print also came out brighter than my art was but thats not that big of a deal. Besides that everything turned out really nice! I cant wait to get some merch to put on it.
I got tired of waiting for my coffin backpack so I got a mini tote to tide me over till then. Still waiting on a batch of can badges to arrive so it's very strap heavy
>>8750556
>Undertaker bag
You are a beautiful human being. I'd make one for Snake if he had enough merch but I have three bags already.
> gets another rejection from a commissioner
I get it andhard feelings but its a little disheartening guess I am getting back into art! Maybe if they turnout I can draw up some for anon's with no merch, but that is a big if.
>>8750785
What are you requesting? Lots of people draw pretty much anything safe so you might just be unlucky. You could spend time going through the commissions tag on Tumblr but a lot of people are actually just posting their art so be patient until you find multiple people you like.
>>8750843
Simple small drawing for buttons and no one is comfortable with their art being used for buttons, so I get why they are uneasy. There just is barely any merch in the borderlands fandom
>>8750852
How many people have you approached? It's understandable why people may be against doing it but there will be people okay with it if you explain the bag situation.
Some people in /cgl/ would have gone through this process before so maybe they will know some artists but you should really like them as well.
>>8750852
Have you explained it's for private use and not commercial use? Most artists get iffy if you're trying to get their art to sell it as merchandise.
>>8750881
Yeah I explicitly try and state I am making button for private use on my ownbag and try to send links tto my bag to let them know it is a legit project, and send them a note saying keep me updated if they ever decide to sell fan merch. I we are being real a lot of artists see buttons and basically stop reading there.
>>8750785
If you go to the draw threads in /a/ or maybe even here I'm sure people would do it for free you'll just get varying quality
>>8750785
I'd be willing to draw something for you for a button, anon. Not for free because y'know, time is money and all that but if you're interested email me and I can give you some examples of my work and we can go from there.
Michio's seiyuu posted this and now I just want more S.E.M stuff. Can't wait for my finals to be done so I can finish the art for a fabulous pink space tote. Though maybe I can find a bag in that holographic fabric that's so popular right now.

Not that anon but you didn't even drop your email.
>>8750981
>heart shaped badges
Hnnngh. I love those so much, anyone know where to get them made? I've only seen on person in Artist Alley who has them and I didn't think to ask where they got them done.
>>8750982
yeah I'm a dumbass.
Email is justaratherverythroawayemail at gmail
>can you tell I don't post a lot, is it showing
>>8750889
I'm pretty sure that buttons counts as personal use, since you are not selling it, getting money for it or using it for promotion.
It's nice to ask, but you don't HAVE to ask. Commissioning someone gives you -certain- rights over the image.
>>8749797
Woah that's a neat idea. Someone already posted the same character but I have a different phone model if you don't mind.
>Phone model
Samsung S4
>Fandom husbando/waifu
Masato from Uta no prince-sama
I'd love to do an ita bag of my husbando, but since he has official merch I'd feel weird getting fanmade badges/straps/etc done. At the same time though, it hardly ever comes up for sale, so right now I could only really make, like, an ita wallet.
I'm working on an Iwatooshi ita bag to fill the void, though, and I know I can go far and make a super huge bag with him!
(Sorry about the bad photo, I can't quite get it to be obedient on a hook)
>>8750981
Oh man, I never even considered making a bag for my SideM unit... Hopefully Mofumofuen get some straps and badges soon so I can help you spread SideM love!
>>8750785
>kaidananon here
aww, anon. i'm willing to draw you something for badges. if you're interested i can drop you a throwaway to my art-blog (alternatively you can find my main tumblr in the itabag thread and go to it from there if you dont want to fuck around with emails)

>Mfw SideM niggas
I just ordered some Haruna keychains to add to my Takane/Kaede idolm@ster side of my bag.
>>8751161
Added you to my waitlist, anon! I've got five ahead of you and I'm going to try and get some of them done first when supplies arrive before I do any more. Glad you have the same character though so I can try two different styles of the same thing to see which looks better
>>8751471
So jelly of your clear bag, anon! I've been wanting one like that but the only listing I found was sold out until they restock.
Why we don't made a closed group on facebook? Is a good idea?
>>8751656
I'd definitely join! Could be good for selling items, too.
>>8751656
That sounds great! I'd love that so much
>>8751656
I like this idea a lot.
Ok, I'm not in home right now, but this night I'll post here the name of the fb group!
>>8751740
Ah, anon I went ahead and made one, is that okay to post? I was just so excited I couldn't wait haha
>>8751748
Of course! Do it!
(Just doooo it)
And post here the name or link to the group. Thank u!
Well, let's get started! The name is Itabag/Fandom Fashion Central.
If anyone wants to modify anything about the group please let me know.
>>8751764
I'm super excited to join it eu ll be nice to have another good place to talk itabag shop
>>8751764
Thanks anon! I'm always a little reluctant to attach my real name (damn Facebook requirements) to anything /cgl/ related but I'm not about to pass up on an ita group.
>>8751629
Great, thanks for doing this! Utapri has a ton of official art with a good amount of different styles (they even have nekomimi merch) so you can definitely have fun with that.
Does anyone have a link for those backpacks with a see-through cutout on the front?
Found this on AliExpress just now. It's expensive but I've never seen this style before so sharing in the hopes that someone finds it elsewhere cheaper.

>>8751976
Everyone really is super supportive, it's so nice. Although the only downside is with having my name and face attached to my bag and stuff I almost feel self conscious.
>>8752112
Yeah everyone is really kind I am getting nervous I am going yo post in the group so much. I am just excited as hell to have a nice place to chat about (lets be real I have never gotten a chance to be in a group with that many nitro+ chiral fans) husubando and waifu.
> mfw everyone in the group looks really cute and nice in their icons
>>8752143
>lets be real I have never gotten a chance to be in a group with that many nitro+ chiral fans
I was surprised at how many of us there are in there!
If you feel bad about posting frequently, maybe we could make containment threads? Like what you have in the mail, maybe at artsmoo thread (so we can see real examples of product), and so on... so instead of constantly starting new topics you're just commenting on previous things?
>>8750889
I have a better idea anon
>commission for some art
>once you get the artwork, do a quick PS edit to get the art ready for button printing (aka crop)
>boom
You have good intentions anon, it's just hard to convince paranoid artists (and I don't blame them thanks to taobao and other chinese bootleg shops). So you just have to omit some details in order to get the final result. Lie by omission
>>8752222
Yeah I gey because I've had people try and sell my creations (crochet patterns which is different but it still is shitty) so I always try and play it straight esp in fandoms as small as the borderlands one lmao
>>8745129
>I was thinking of wiping one side clean of the polkadots, and keeping the polkadots for the back side.
Is this possible? I can't find a cheap bag I like on taobao. The polka dot one is perfect except for the polka dots.
>>8752112
>tfw I want to join the group but too shy
>>8752247
Different anon but someone posted a Japanese tutorial where they cleaned the paint off their bag using either nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol. I can't remember which. Just one of those and some cotton balls.
>>8752247
i haven't tested it personally but other's have said it can be done using nail polish remover, i believe there's a link or a tutorial in the FAQ in the OP
>>8752268
If you do it with nail polish remover you gotta go and get the serious business professional remover from Sally's or whatever your beauty supplier is. Most drug store brands with the candy colors have too much mineral oil to acetone ratio and it will take even longer. I haven't done it for these bags but I have used it for removing factory paint from monster high dolls and other figures.
>>8752275
I figured I'd need ten minutes just because I'd have to scrub at the paint just to get a few off.. I was wrong.
I took one pad and could have easily cleaned my entire bag with it. It's insane how easily you can clean your bags with nail polish remover pads.
I'll upload pictures and do a mini-tutorial in just a second.
>>8752257
Hey anon, group mod here!
Just want to say I know how hard it is to put yourself out there to be social and share the things you love (it's a little uneasy even on here haha) but we'd love to have you in the group c: It's even cool if you wanna pop in real quick to see if you'll like it and if you don't, you can leave no pressure! I just want you to feel comfortable.
My first and thankfully only mistake with this was assuming the paint was on the outside. I don't know about other bags but the polka dot 2-in-1 bags, the paint is on the inside.
Other than that, the process is super easy. It only take two to three easy swipes over the paint and then it's completely gone. After that I used a dry tissue to mop up the mixture of paint and leftover remover and even that's enough to take off a couple more dots on its own.
I'm probably going to finish removing the paint and then clean the bag with a wet paper towel just to get rid of any residue and the polish remover scent before I put my merch back in there.
Feel free to repost this anywhere you want since there's a FB group now and I know none of us even knew it was possible until someone posted that Japanese tutorial and even then we had to guess what they were using.
>>8752286
mine took 3 hours to clean, i think it depends in the type of ink used to print the bag
>>8752297
Oh wow, that's insane to consider. Mine was a cheap $10 (if that) eBay bag so I don't doubt that mine had cheaper paint/ink.
>>8752296
That bag is adorable, where'd you get it?
>>8752383
Oh crud I just saw the shop rating for that listing. Sorry anon! That's the general design though so just look around on Ebay and find one with a better rating. I just grabbed the first one I found.

anyone who's ordered clothing off of artsmoo - how long did it take to ship?
My favorite part of this group is that people aren't criticizing other people's husbandos/waifus, everyone is just rolling with it and it's super cute.
It's inspiring me to make me one of these tacky ass bags with my very weeb husbando, Sebastian. I just have a thing for demons, and I don't watch a lot of anime/manga so I fell in love with him.
>>8752675
so jealous of ppl that have husbandos with merch out the ass ;-; good luck anon, godspeed
>>8752675
>people aren't criticizing other people
I know the group is 4chan spawn, but what would there be to criticize? We're all here/there to weeb the fuck out together, I don't know what drama would come from that. Although imagining itabag/fashion drama makes me laugh though.
Also - to all of y'all in this thread that aren't in the group yet, thanks for being part of one of the most positive places on the internet. I don't think I've ever seen any salt in these threads.
>>8752700
Pretty sure it's cause the reason everyone is in the group is worth giggling about anyway, we're all coming off anon to fucking nerd out over fictional characters. Which is kind of adorable, reminds me of early con years.
That being said, the group is really nice, the mod is nice, everyone is nice. Nothing like being in a lolita group where everyone is pleasant but has a weird vibe of being fake. You just can't lie about your favorite characters lol
>want to join the FB group
>don't want irl friends asking me what an itabag is
Guess I'll have to make a new FB account for my weeb hobbies.
Can I request more strap heavy bags?

Theres some ita bag merch that I'm hoping to get from Comicket this year--does anyone know any SS's that go into comicket? Or am I doomed to bid 60+ on a husbando badge?
>>8751583
I feel so good to see more SideM fans! I'm starting to get Frame merch but I still can't decide on a bag.
And, that it my first on getting on this honestly. I just got so many merch until a friend told me about this. So, excuse the shitty photo. I'm planning on do a Rin ita, but not sure if I should get another bag or keep this one. Just took a quick shot, as I'm deciding if using it or not. I want to put some little purses with polka, and add the samezuka bag that I got, and obviously another merch I got from Rin.
Well I hope everything goes smooth. Send a request to fb group too!
