What does /cgl/ think of host-kei in general?
It is not too popular among white people, due to the fact it looks like shit on them ( or so, that's what I've seen ) but I am curious if you guys have any tips/opinions or such.

"Hostkei" is more about the work and character of a guy than his looks. If a guy looks stylish (ok it's also about style) and is a player he can be referred to as a host. If we talk about only style than there are 100 different 'host keis' like the vk host, the neo host or the normalfag non tanned or tanned gyaru-o all of them put into suits

Tokyo New Tribe did a special on female hosts, but i don't think it's a fashion exactly. it can be, for women, a subset of dansou maybe (i saw a video where one Japanese woman even referred to Misako in ouji as "dansou"). for male hosts, i don't know, is there such a thing as mote-kei for men? stuff that will make them popular with women? or would they just consider themselves metrosexual?
