Basically any craft store has the wall plaques but I'm unsure about the animals.
>>

Iirc, the person who made these just glued regular toy animals to the wood plaques and then spray painted the whole thing

I look at a bedroom like this and lust after it.

I'm looking to store my shoes kind of like this, but I'm not sure where to get it or if these are even shoe stands. I have a lot of chunky platforms and boots, so the drawers or door pocket things don't work out.
>>
>>8717226
They look like shoe racks to me. If you cant find one to fit your space (and its a space with two sides), you can do it by getting tension rods and placing them in the space to hold them up. I used to have that in my old closet and it worked fine, but you might have to try a few different types of rod, so i would recommend getting ones you can return!
>>
>>8717226
They're pretty common and you can get them at almost any home goods type store. Pic related is from Walmart and it's $15.

Previously I had that one big boring blank wall with my mirror in front. I bought some wall decals from Taobao and spent an hour today putting them up. Really like how it turned out.

No-one's stupid enough to think she meant stuffed/soft animals, anon. The photos are clearly of something solid. You can get toy animals made of wood, or plastic, or similar. I know you could get fairly lightweight animals similar to this in garden centres.

Any cute suggestions for organizing make up? I Had a nice little set up with these cupcake stands (pic related though not the one i have) where I had my eyeshadow pots arranged, but I've over grown it and dont know what to do for my brushes and other cosmetics!

I use one of those travel bags that you can hang off the door and stuff. Pic related, found a kawaii-ass one on Google.

It works for me because I can roll it up and take it to cons, and it's really helpful because I have a really small desk that I can't put much on.

I have mine displayed on an Ikea scarf/belt hanger on the wall. It's really cluttered at the moment, but I have a lot of handmade floral things that I don't wear as much anymore that I need to move into some cute little boxes.

I also use another one of these for organizing my socks and that's on the back of my door out of sight. But it's handy for seeing all my sock options/patterns/colors at once.

For smaller bow clips, I'm terrible and have them tossed in a small plastic tote. I bought a frame and had every intention of making a little criss-cross ribbon display to clip them to but I've not gotten around to it yet.
>>
>>8717375
Would also like to know, but specifically for the ones that aren't attached to headbands (on alligator clips etc). I haven't found a good way that lets me see them all and get to them easily, it's always one or the other.

It's two messy sheets and a throw blanket haphazardly on the end, so that's pretty unkempt to me, along with the fact that the Hello Kitty stuff doesn't go with it at all.

My own bed has a duvet over its sheets and an extra matching blanket folded ~decoratively~ at the end, and I live in an arid climate so sometimes I just sleep atop the duvet and use the extra blanket.

I'm probably overly-clean, but I found out over the years that if you take time to make your bed look nice, it really helps pull your room together, even if the rest of it is a little messy.

trust me i'm a bed wizard and pic unrelated

How about, perhaps disciplining your pets to stay off your things.

My friend's pets know to immediately stop whatever they are doing if you grab the water spritzer and they are fairly stupid animals otherwise. You don't even have to spray them anymore. Just picking up the bottle will do it.

Steer them from bad behavior and keep them out of your room without you in it until they've caught on.

Also do not let them see where the spray is coming from after a time, you don't want them to associate you as the only thing stopping them.

This. I don't see anything about >>8717082 that's incompatible with cats. My cat loves string and dangling things but she isn't going to rip up my curtains or soft furnishings, and she knows that tables are not for cats (shedding explosively on the sofa is fair game though). You also need to give your cats alternatives though, it's not their fault if you leave them inside all day and they have no scratching post/toys. Mine loves carpet and wood so she has a carpet board and a chunk of driftwood outside plus all the trees in the garden.

I live in a small apartment so if he wasn't allowed on the furniture or even in my room there aren't many options; also I do have a large scratching post with several levels for him to hang out in. I love the way you display your bags in your room, very cute. Its also very neat and organized. I am a little confused however since your wardrobe looks more classic/otome while it looks like your trying to decorate your room with kawaii type items?
>hello kitty
>pink wall stickers

I think you'd be better off if you had a clearer image in your mind of what you want your end room to look like. If you like both sweet and classic, maybe go for that soft sweet nature look.

Lastly I think your room could use some more wall decorations. My favorite thing to do is buy dollar store frames (come in sizes 4x6 to 8.5x11) and frame cute images in them. I often paint the frames to match better with my decor.

>>
>>8720445
Clothing wise I like otome and Classic but decor wise I just want it to be colorful and interesting. I'm just not that one dimensional that I need my room to reflect my clothes.
>>
>>8720799
I'd start by swapping out the carpet for something pale that will reflect more light. It looks small enough that you should be able to get a good-quality carpet remnant for cheap. I agree with >>8720845 that it seems like it'd be better as a seating area than a storage area. Would also replace venetian blinds with sheer curtains.
>>
Soooooo, anyone has suggestion/pics for large amount of (lolita) accessories, especially necklaces?

You can't put those in drawers as they will get tangled in no time, but all the pinterest ideas I've seen are for people with 5 necklaces in their lives. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WOMAN. NEED MORE ACCESSORIES.

I've been putting each of mine into those little plastic sealing bags, but they don't look very exciting and still chances of the chain tangled up with the pendant within the bag. Why are storing these such a pain?

The brown dresser if fine. Having white furniture mixed in with some wood tones looks fine, as long as they match and the wall is painted. Agreeing with the wall, cream and white just....looks sad.

I'm considering putting all my Lolita on cute display racks, but I'm wondering if there's any reason not to do this besides the likelihood of sun bleaching? Honestly it depends on the type of storage you have and where the space is. I have one of these which lives in my wardrobe, as well as half a dozen jewellery boxes/stands which are more aesthetically pleasing and get displayed on shelves
>>
>>8721167

Same of it is on the table, but I'm with you. I'd like to know where their BB cream, countering stuff and eyeshadow are, and what they're buying now that Etude House no longer stocks the Etoinette series. (not the person who posted the pic, btw)
>>
>>8721095

If you want to put them into drawers but don't want them to move around, stick a layer of velvet or felt (or some fabric that has some "tooth" to the bottom of the drawer. So long as you don't yank the drawers roughly the items in it will stay put. Add some drawer dividers to visuallly divide the space between (for eg) your rings and earrings, or maybe divide between your bunny stuff and your cat stuff, and you're all set.

I have the exact white one from the first post about rotating acrylic organizers like this and while I recommend them because they're extremely handy, they're only useful if you have a small makeup collection. I hoard way too many beauty products and only a fraction of my stuff fit in one of these. I can eventually post a picture of an overstuffed one in action if anyone is interested?
>>
>>8724547
I would be interested. I have a fairly small collection but It would be nice to have everything displayed so I can actually see what all I can use.
>>
>>8723423
Oh shit that's perfect! Thank you so much!
>>
Does Anyone know where I can get Large versions of the Angelic Pretty Illustrations? About A4 size.
After Browsing Google all I can find are the fairly small ones that pixelate when enlarged.

Start a "black face", "brown face" or "yellow face" thread and find out.

Ohmygosh, Anons, I just found out that my parents are letting me have an entire room for my sewing stuff, and I am so goshdarned excited!

Does anybody have any sewing room inspiration photos? I want to organise the shit out of everything but I'm worried I'll look like a hoarder more than anything. My mom bought me a thread spool stand and a cute wooden frame for ribbon spools as a surprise gift to get started.
>>
>>8725960
I love the art against the lavender walls. This is the kind of room I myself want.

And this is how the drawers are organized. For the fabric I folded the fabric over the hanging folders. This works best for 1.5 yards or less. I have a tub in storage with fabric >1.5 yards.
>>
>>8725955
This is a good example of too much going on. Furniture doesn't match the bed, One random blue wall and no other blue accents in the room. It's a nice start but it needs more polish.
>>
>>8726113
>>8726118
Also, I know it's messy but hopefully it'll give some inspo on how to get things started.
>>
>>8719134
rolling plastic drawers, i put mine in my closet then hang other stuff up along with a shoe rack.
>>
>>8726118
The fact this is in rainbow order makes me happy :)
>>
>>8721095
I use an iron coat/key hanger that nails to the wall. I use that for my necklaces and my nicer bracelets. The other stuff I own like rings or sweeter beadedbracelets on elastic that aren't I keep in tiered jewelry holders inside my wardrobe. I use a different tier for each type. Florals go in one, random sweet shit goes in another, bracelets on the bottom. I have another dedicated strictly to AP jewelry.
>>
Requesting inspo for fluffy/fur items. My bf is all into black/white/minimalist, but he likes it, so I figured I can use it to make our place more inviting and less... Boring. Besides, I'm into larme, so pom poms, right?
>>
>>8726113
>>8726118
It's a nice set up, but kind of dull. A few cute knick knacks and some art on the walls would really make it homey.
>>
>>8726300
It makes me happy too! I even have the patterned fabric color-coded.

>>8726635
I have a little cow painting above my desk but I didn't get it in the shot. I try not to have too many distractions at my desk because it's also my study area so it's better I keep it empty.

Here you go! I put the alpaca next to it for a size comparison, but here's my pretty overstuffed rotating organizer. (Sorry for the window glare!)
My only big problem with it is that the spaces are so small on the sides that it's hard to fit most products in unless they're very small, like chapsticks or nail polishes.
>>
>>8728077
Ahhh that looks great! Thanks for the size comparison too. I mainly purchase deluxe samples of products so I think everything will fit. Where do you keep it? I usually do my makeup in the bathroom because it has the best lighting but I don't think that would fit on the limited space I have.
>>
>>8728077
This looks adorable!
I don't have that many products, I really want to get one now.
>>
Does anyone have any favourite room tour videos or anything like that? I always get inspired to actually do something with my space when I see another cute one in motion.
>>
>>8727257
I bought this organizer set from Ross for $10 and I use it as my countertop cosmetic storage, I like it well enough but I wish the compartments were slightly larger.
>>
>>8728178
I keep it on my bedside table! I have a very low platform bed and a very low bedside table so it works out perfectly. There's two drawers in the table, so I store larger products there for easier access.
>>
>>8728077
I really hope Lush brings back that valentines lip balm they had. I regret not getting it.

Yep! Here's a little collage of the other sides of it. The inner part is pretty hard to fit stuff in, but if you have flat tins of lotion of something they can fit (such as the smaller lush pots etc; )
The eyeshadow cubbies are a good idea in theory, but again, only if you have a few. The biggest cubby barely fits that lotion and makeup remover in, so again, not much room in this thing, but it's still super handy.

>>
>>8730677
They are packs of 10 and usually more than $15 per pack. Not worth it.
>>
>>8730662
Who the hell wants to take only one photo? I'm glad people are nostalgic, but for fucks sake. Things are cheaper now as far as the best way to take and share photos because of memory cards. Not only that, but better quality too. Only hipsters have these polaroids.
>>
>>8730683
Anon, some people like traditional film photography, and polaroid cameras are an easy and fun version of that. It's cheaper and more efficient to paint digitally as well, but traditional art is not dying out anytime soon.
>>
I'm too lazy to take pictures of mine, but I use one of those scarf hangers from IKEA to hang my OTKs and mufflers. My tights are folded standing up in a box, but I like being able to look at more of the print with OTKs.

My mother got very good at finding things on Craigslist when she lost her job. She would look for things being given away so that she could pick them up and sell them. Shes gotten plants, furniture and other cool stuff this way (I should mention that my pieces were not free though the bookcases are part of a larger entertainment unit and happen to fit the very odd measurements of that wall) She got me through college like that. Ever since then, she's always found amazing stuff on there.

Not a physical wardrobe/closet, but does anyone have any suggestions for a closet organization app? As in categories for shirts, sweaters, shoes, etc.?
>>
>>8740137
I'm not sure about apps but I use Pinterest and the quick pin chrome extension. You can also create a wardrobe on Lolibrary, but not all releases are on there. There's also Facebook which gives you more freedom to arrange your pictures, but I find uploading each image to be a pain. On the plus side it's easy to screenshot and it can be selectively visible or fully private.
>>
>>8740137
I use pinterest, and have boards for main pieces, tops, accessories, etc.
>>
>>8731586
Can you tell me where you got that kind of furniture, anon? I want to do something similar for my new place.

>>
>>8741026
The lamps themselves usually don't matter. Maximize window function, use different lightbulbs, and invest in a softbox or diffuser. People have written tons of reviews and lists of personal favorites if you just google lighting for beauty or fashion.
>>
>>8741031
And thats why she would send other people to get the items. She always hired a mover to get the items. I personally would never use craigslist because I'd be scared of ill intent as well. Though, she few times she would get the item herself, I would sit in the car and shed say, if I'm not back in 10 minutes, call the police.

>>8741018
Craigslist. If your looking for whimsical furniture that wont get you killed or possibly be haunted, I'd say look at companies like Mackenzie Childs.
>>
