The con was tiny Friday, pretty decent Saturday, but the hotel party was waaaaaaaay better than previous years.
I am curious about how the no-guys-without-girls thing worked out. Did anyone have any issue with it (other than salty kneckbeards)?

We waited for people for about fifteen minutes before leaving to go chill in our hotel room. There were some people there but honestly at this point we already knew everyone who was there.
Not many photos since I was super busy all weekend. Here a friend of mine as Richter from Castlevania. I threw the combat cross together for him last minute as a little gift.

I made sure to get a shot with the Maid Cafe staff before I left. Great little cafe this year with cute maids aplenty.
That is pretty much it for me. I didn't get to attend much due to various circumstances.
The Hentai Variety Show and the Weebs in Japan panel were both great and the standouts for me. Sadly I missed the contest since my gf was feeling ill.
Anyone else got pictures? I was surprised to see quite a few impressive costumes at an event not generally known for it.

When that wedding was passing through right before the contest I saw a group of 5 old people being explained how a white transformer was in the crowd somewhere by some other old person. Just wanted to say that café was really well put together. Went to one of the events and it was a little chaotic because the room was so packed but the show and decorations were cute at least.
Thought the Hentai Variety Show was great as well, never been to one of those before so didn't know what to expect
Chibi Pa was a lot of fun this year. There were a lot of awesome cosplays and the hotel was pretty nice

Outside of the Ultracon idiots hassling people and harassing cosplayers who where overheard saying "We're not going to Ultracon" it was a great weekend. Chibi Pa was awesome this year!

First time going to this but the venue was nice. I was late hearing about it so I missed a chance for the hotel/ pass combo but next year if it's the same spot I'll def drop the shekles for the stay. There was only a 40m window with nothing for me to do but that was cause the panels at that time didn't interest me so I just went to eat. The pool was nice though and aside from the cloudy weather it was something different for me to do at a con. I didn't know about the volunteer program either but it seems worth the time spent to get the free pass if you're mainly there to sight see

Anyone else go to Megacon Fan Days? Did you guys see that booth selling prints of Nendoroid toy photography? It's kind of an odd thing to be selling but the photography was decent. I laughed pretty hard inside though when I overheard a customer yell "Oh YEAH, that's exactly what I want, a picture of a figure I don't own! I could just go buy the figure what is the point of this?"

I actually really appreciate good figure photography so I would have loved to see his stuff, but I ended up in Miami for the week for Thanksgiving. Either way, sucks that the guy had to hear that because it's just as useless of a thing as a cosplay print and people eat those up.
