TOS is had a fairly recent re-release and HD updates, although you're right about Mithos, Colette and Zelos have merch. Rubber straps and keychains./ Zelos has more than most of them.
T-elos doesn't have merch but Nagisa Momoe also has pins, straps, and merch.
Check MFC you'll be surprised what characters actually have what. I was in love with Yggdrasil but there's no hope for him.

Yes! I got the art commissioned and told the artist the dimensions required for the site I used (hobbyheart) so they could make it the right size. Then I just bought a custom daki, emailed the art in, and it showed up a few weeks later.

I commissioned an artist I follow on twitter, paid them for the art and then had it printed on the cow site. I let them know what the dimensions needed to be so it would fit when I went to set up the print order. A-Cow usually has 35% coupons on their site so the pillow case was $30 (shipping included) I got the actual pillow part for $10 at target.

If you can design your own or find your own high res image, Print All Over Me (poam.com) does print all over shirts. I ordered one recently and sadly it turned a little low res and the sleeve print was bad, but it was a larger image. my 42 badges arrived today. they're a little dark so the next lot of ~60 all have lightened images. they seem pretty ok quality and the fasteners are sturdy. i wouldnt use the little tiny ones to hold weight, though.

I'm at three in progress now, with complete outfits to go with them, and I think it's because I don't really lolita and I've all but quit cosplaying so even though I don't take my itabags out on a daily basis I think "Well there's four days to a convention, surely I can at least three to wear.." and it's sucking my wallet dry for actual cosplays. I haven't even made a bag for my husbando yet because thankfully he has so little merch but I think it's only a matter of time before I'm on my fourth bag.
Also, what if you finish a bag and you really have no urge to keep it? I'm nearly done with my first bag and even though I like the series I'm just not happy at all with how it's turning out and I've considered just selling it because the merch goes for a nice sum on Ebay because the series is a little obscure so overseas merch is scarce but at the same time I spent so much time/money on it.. it seems a shame to just get rid of it even if I can put the money towards my other bags.

For me, I limit myself to a few bags for money and storage reasons. I get a lot of anxiety from having too many things that serve no purpose in my home and have no place to be stored. Realistically, I would probably not be able to use more than 2 bags at a convention since I do lolita and also recently decided I really want to start cosplaying the character my main bag is from.
Also, what is it that makes you not happy with your bag? Do you truly love the character/series, or do you just have some merch on it that you are 100% with? Whatever the case is, you should sell of the stuff you don't like, even if you think its a shame - I think it's a bigger shame to have money locked up in things that don't make you as happy when you could sell them and get money for better things.

I'm sort of like that? I'll collect stuff for a while and then one day I'll just look around and think "I have too much stuff" and go on a massive selling spree and use the money to start something new. It's a never ending cycle.
What I think the biggest issue is that I bought too much merch for my bag. I can't fit even half of it up there without running out of room and the bag I want isn't available for sale yet and the fanart tote that was my back-up has been taken down from the artist's shop. So it's just all tossed into the too-small bag in a heap and sitting there.
I don't want to make any rash decisions so I'm trying to hold out until I get a new bag and see if that changes my mind. I'd rather be out a cheap Ebay bag than find the perfect bag later and have no merch left to put on it.

I just finished my bag so I figured I'd share since I saw some hakuouki bags in the past couple threads. I've actually been collecting merch for years but this trend is nice because I finally have a place to keep it all.
A question to you all though, are you keeping all your stuff on one side of the bag are doing both sides? I only have enough merch for one side so far...but I'm not sure if filling out the other side would be worth it'd be hidden depending on how you hold it.

i keep all my things on one side, because as you mention it's often not possible to see both sides of a bag any way. if you had the merch, i'd suggest starting a second bag rather than filling the other side heh
also, it would probably be even more uncomfortable to carry around if both sides of the bag was chunky
