i guess the bottom second to the left is more hime-gyaru styled in the dress atleast but the shoulder issues only apply to old school really, even like VM has off shoulder dresses. plus the issue has always been more so one of outfit completeness rather than skin coverage.

hime gyaru wear lolita quite often actually, unlike lolita, there's no set silhouette for that fashion more of an overall look.

As much as I hate the look, I can't really come up with a reason why it wouldn't work in an OTT coordinate...but honestly it's just not a style-point that a lot of people use casually in conjunction with a frilly dress so it would be a difficult feature to pull off in everyday coordinates.

I'd love a more ouji look but with a lolita type silhouette and cute pastel colours. Like a cute ship's captain or military leader. Tricorn hats or tophats or giant hats like what's use on race days. Also sweet lolita corsets please.
