OP I LOVE flat coords too, but every time I had a coord in my head, lay it out and feel happy about it, it will become very ugly as soon as worn. The human body is just so different to a flat surface. I guess that's why they look so good - everything is in ideal proportion, no little lumps and bumps.
Still, I like seeing them for colour coordinate ideas! Sorry for the rant and tanks for posting!

I have that print in lavender and there is no ivory in it at all, it's pure white with a yellow/gold accent color. I can see the white blouse going along with the dress and matching headbow, but the rest of this coord is terrible. The tights aren't even a matching gold and they're covered in butterflies and leaves... very much different from the print which has pegasus' all over it. Don't even get me started on the weird brown/purple bag. It has no business being here at all. The shoes are ugly but they're okay, however you need to match your golds if you're going to try and match the shoes and tights with the gold in the print. The necklace is random and looks completely stark and out of place with that blouse, not to mention it's also a different color gold. Really... how can you sit here defending this coord?
I'm also going to add that the detail photos on the right are in really weird lighting because the gold of the dress is not nearly that yellow in person.
