Adding more stuff is almost never a bad thing with itabags, so I'd say go for it. You might want to wait until your orders arrive first so you can see if you still want to add more after seeing it put together in person.
>>
>>8856927
Seeing this makes me want to make an ichi one even more. Anyone have more itabags of other osomatsu characters? I was also thinking of piecing together a dayon or iyami one for for shits n giggles.
>>
>>8856656
>The haori wouldn't be too bad in a con setting, but otherwise it does seem a bit too much. A+ husbando, though.

Thanks anon! I was thinking the haori would look cool to wear in a con as well which is why I want it.

And I am planning to get some commissions done (1 out of 4 are done) then get some shrinky dink paper, print them out, bake, then cover the charm in resin or UV resin. I might make a lot so I am deciding on either to invest into UV resin for ease or get those two part epoxy resins and try my hand at it to get more out of it. This will be my first time making charms so I am doing a lot of research and looking at the resin thread for help.

Does anyone have that really pretty heart shaped purse with only a few pins on it? I have no idea what series the character was from.

I'm the anon making a Choro bag, and nope these the majority of these are actually from prizes and the namba town event. two of the pins in the pic were from a badge set you could buy off amiami though.

I need your guys' expert help! haha I'm building my first ita bag. All of these items are on their way. The buttons with the red rings are 3 inches and the the rest are 2.25 inches. It still feels a bit bare. Once it arrives and I arrange everything I was thinking of adding more chains, crowns or a clear cover bag and plishies.

I just had a thought, for anyone who has a bjd here, it would cute to make an itabag for your doll. Plus if possible, you can make your doll cosplay as your husbando/waifu. I know there is a facebook page where they make small itabags for your dolls but I totally forgot what it was called.
>>
>>8857114
Dam I have photos of the bjd itabags too but on my other phone. If you dig through the itabag tag on facebook you will find them
>>
>>8857040
I fucking love this. I think you might be able to add some small Chanel charms or some Germanic crosses similar to his old necklace along with the chains and crown. Maybe instead of plushies, you can add those Black Moral bear keychains instead. Either way, it's gonna look fantastic! Please post progress pics
>inner bangya coming out

>>8857074
As some who used a PU leather base bag, there's no good way too put badges on with puncturing it. You can try experimenting with using chains but they tangle rather easily. So yea, those base bags will have holes if you remove all that merch.

I know Japanese schools can have strict dress codes. In anime I usually see maybe a couple charms on bags are they allowed to carry something like this?
>>
This isn't from someone in Japan but I have seen bags loaded down with stuff from school girls. It all depends on the school's code which was covered in the nanchatte thread a while back. Some school are strict about uniforms/makeup while others are like public high schools where you have more freedom to wear and decorate how you want. Some schools don't even allow dyed hair or any makeup while another nearby lets you get away with that and wearing false eyelashes and looking like a gyaru. It just depends.

I'm actually really looking forward to taking a Valentines picture. I see a lot of collectors take nice pictures for Valentines and their husbandos birthdays but mine doesn't have a birthday so just Valentines it is ;_;
>>
i've been lurking these threads for a while and i think i'm going to start making my own itabag! which means i can show off my merch and not have to worry about them gathering dust on my shelves.
i want to make a bag for my waifu but she has literally no merchandise. i was thinking of making my own, since i saw it's generally allowed but i still worry about being too cheap...
what's the most you have or are willing to spend creating your ideal itabag?
>>
This has probably been asked before, but how is making your own pieces generally received? I'm working on a Madoka itabag, but I'm 2poor to pay for international shipping on multiple items at the moment. I was thinking of making some of my own merch, but I don't wanna break an unsaid rule or something.
>>
>>8858292
It's a bag for your tacky fangirl self. No one cares if you use stuff you made.
>>
Anyone interested in itabag meetups at cons? Maybe it could just be part of seagull meetups but it could also maybe be a good way to chill early fridays or late sundays. Only cons I have coming up at Magfest and Fanime.
>>
>>8858289
Despite the name itabag being in partial reference to painful prices, I don't think there's anything wrong with being cheap about it. A lot of us share deals and buy bulk orders to save money. The expense mostly comes from people trying to get official stuff which can have jacked up prices, but I'd say if you don't have a lot of official merch, then some of the fun can come from finding cheaper ways to make the bag you like.

>>8858292
The FAQ covers this, but it's totally fine. It'd be dumb as fuck if anyone tried to give you shit for it.
>>
>>8858292
Fanmade and handmade are totally ojay just beware people being rude becauseI you have a bae with some merch which so people can sorry of be cuntcounts about. For the m osteoporosis part though poplar are just happy you are making a big tacky fanbag ab all!

How are knock offs better than someone doing it themselves? Anon can make whatever they want to make their bag cohesive without anyone profiting off art that isn't theirs.

My bag plans so far. Might try to get my hands on the rubber strap. I just terribly terrified of using a bid system for Yahoo!Japan. I also am going to swap out the Eye of Horus for a more accurate one. The Ra figure I plan on taking the base off of and turning it into a charm. Same with the one coin figure. As for the bag itself I am trying to hunt down a purple tote bag I like. Probably gonna do a chain design on the front like the clasp of his cape. I have a lot of plans but can't seem to make a solid bag choice. I want that before I go and buy all of this.

The trend hasn't been around long enough to be boring yet and I don't think I'll have a lot of chances to use mine besides cons and Japan trips so i won't get old too fast for me. Awesome! I submitted the panel a few days after they started accepting submissions but I think I won't hear back until April whether or not it got accepted. If it does get accepted I'll cover the basics of what itabags are, show some examples off Google/twitter along with anyone who may bring one if they'd be up for it, and then cover the basic places to find merch (ebay secondhand, yahoo japan, amiami, taobao factory reject shops, etc) and also do a fun little slideshow using pic related to showcase different bag styles and maybe toss in a few of those crazy LoveLivers in their battle armor.

I'm planning to design a tote bag for a base itabag (+tons of pins because she has no merch) and an Ichimatsu pencil box for myself probably.

Might follow in suit and submit an itabag panel for AWA if the con looks more interesting to me. I was pretty bored last year (that and they cut my panel 15 minutes short because their scheduling was terribad) so if it improves I'll take a swing at it. Should have both my bags done by then!
>>
>>8859602
Do you think an entire panel could be done with itabags? What other things could be packaged in there? Like maybe being an otaku in Japan or Tokyo otaku trends?

You could do a side on female otaku culture in Japan, but I envision an itabag panel focusing on aesthetics of the bag and tips on creating a unique look. Talking aboit where to get items is great, but talking and maybe making an itabag showing textural differences and quick home fixes woild be the ultimate dream. Also someone showing me how to make a goddamn rosette because mine all look like hot garbage.
>>
I saw a few girls in ALA this year with itabag bags. They were all in a little group looking for more straps and badges to put on their bags. I am pretty sure they all went to Japan since all of them had some event exclusive/Japanese UFO crane exclusive items on their.

What other otaku trends should be covered then that relate to itabags? I'd be up for talking about related topics regardless of gender desu, since it's definitely been proven that there are male itabag makers out there (I mean they're pretty much rare compared to the girls and almost all of them are Love Live fans but hey, they still exist).
Really if I did a panel it'd be like a combination itabag/buyfag thread for babies, but more focused on itabag aesthetics of course. Nitty gritty things.
Like I feel that bags like >>8857069 just don't work out as well because the base bag just looks so cheap and tacky. Maybe I'd focus on what kind of base bags are better for this type of project and why. Talk about how if you can get official merch, it's better to have more of that than say all knock offs/fan merch (or is this just my opinion more? I feel that it speaks more about your dedication to your husbando/waifu if you spend the money to get official merch, if it's possible in the first place). Ways of organizing merch and crafting things.
I'd want to maybe have like, a brief history thing as well? But I don't really know how the trend really took off. Hm...
>>
>>8859818
>it's better to have more of that than say all knock offs/fan merch (or is this just my opinion more?
Please don't go there. That's something I was trying not to mention in my own panel because it's all subjective judging by how much we've all fought here about official merch vs factory rejects/bootlegs vs handmade. Some people hate handmade because "Why would you make merch when you could buy it?!" while others like factory rejects and even bootlegs because "I don't want to spend a lot of money for a casual/convention bag that risks being damaged" while others won't make a bag unless they have nothing but official merch so if there isn't any/not enough they won't make a bag at all.
>>
>>8859818
The only issue with that is you are alienating itabag makers who jave husbands with little to no merch
>>

It sounds like you just want to do a panel on your opinion of itabag style and what you think makes a good itabag because of your emphasis on "I think this bag looks cheap and tacky so I'd focus on what bags I think are better and why" and then "I'd talk about why it's a good idea to have official merch because I think it speaks more about your dedication to spending money on your husbando/waifu" along with shoehorning in other otaku trends and related topics. The very last thing you mentioned was having a history intro to it and even then you're questioning how it even started.

I think if you want to do a panel you should do more of a workshop since you do sound like you really want to focus more on making an itabag look good via organizing merch and making crafts (guessing like display chains and rosettes?)

Maybe it's just me though reading too much into it but it does come off less as "Come learn about itabags and the art form it is in all it's various looks" and more "Let me teach you about itabags and doing them the proper way."
>>
>>8859873
The key phrase was "if it's possible in the first place". If there's no merch for your husbando/waifu then there's really not much one can do besides handmade/fan merch, and that's totally understandable. Hell some of my favorites bags have been from those types of situations, and they're my favorites partially because of that intense dedication alone.

>>8859867
>>8859887
Oh trust me, I'm aware how this sounds like >opinions
so much. I would emphasize that if I brought it up. I kinda like discussing how the "fandom" (for lack of a better term) kinda views this kind of thing though. It's cool to know how interactions with other fans will go when discussing the topic. When I first got into lolita for example, it was a total shock to me how the community was so split on certain issues, how many of them acted, what was accepted and not accepted, etc.
>Some people hate handmade because "Why would you make merch when you could buy it?!" while others like factory rejects...
That's the kind of discourse I find fascinating desu. I hope I'm making sense here haha. I hope I didn't come off as elitist or anything; my bags in progress are mainly official goods but I also have some fan merch/bootlegs in there to be honest (though mainly to fill space/make up for not being able to find as much official merch still on sale as I would like to).

>>8859877
Ooh those are really good! I really adore the birthday trend; it's just so sweet. Plus those are things that I see people do regardless of gender, so that's great. And yeah if I actually go do this I'd be happy to post a download link or whatever for the powerpoint.
>>
>>8859912
It is quite strange that people are quick to grab knockoffs from Taobao when knockoffs in other hobbies are a huge nono. For people who collect figures that's like a sin but I've noticed with lolita it seems to be okay with things like bags. I think people are just very selective and it depends on how much money they have and how much effort they're going to put in to find the original product.
Personally I think it should be encouraged to make your own items or to buy other fan made items vs buying a knockoff. It's a bit silly if you're going to be elitist about something like a dress but then you're buying knockoffs of other things no matter the size.
>>
>>8859443
Sorry do you know when they expire? For some reason I can't access their FB for the notices.
>>
>>8859818
That particular itabag you don't like the base bag for is SUPPOSED to look ugly and tacky. It's a reference to the character, who wears sparkly blue pants and is tacky personified.

Imo it's one of the more clever uses of a base bag I've seen so far.

>knockoffs from Taobao
And that's the basic issue though, not all merch from Taobao are knockoffs. There have been several reputable shops posted in past threads that only sell defective products from the factories where official merch is made for distribution. If the material is too thick/thin, or the paint color is off, or the material runs over the mold, they just sell them off cheap to get some money back to Taobao shops for collectors that want them for bags or crafts or whatever else. They're actual official merch that wasn't good enough sell, not cheap knockoffs like pic related. You just have to make sure you're buying from a listing that says "factory defect" instead of trying to pass it off as the real thing.

Also it's funny because what you're buying at convention dealers rooms are often bootlegs but as long as you're paying way overprice for it, no one seems to care because "It was X amount, it has to be real!"
>>
>>8859977
Does the title "factory defect" confirm they're not bootlegs though? I see how that is a good option for people but it doesn't stop the people who bootleg to sell them like that so how do you figure out what's official when they're not coming from the usual source?
People are really naive at conventions but I hope it's something they learn from. They just don't know where to order from officially so they get excited seeing all those things for the first time in front of them.

Right? It's really intriguing to me.
I think that it's mainly based on quality of the original vs. quality of the knock off.
With figures, the difference in quality is very clear; the knock offs just suck. It's just not worth the money supposedly "saved" when the end result is garbage.
With lolita in regards to shoes and bags, the quality is kind of similar depending on where you get the bootleg from, but with replica dresses the quality is far worse than the originals. Hence why one is deemed "ok" and the other a terrible thing.
With itabags in regards to, say, buttons or rubber straps, sometimes the quality is too similar to the originals to even care. Plus sometimes finding the original on sale is nearly impossible (I ran into this problem recently). I do like how there is the option sometimes for factory defects though like what >>8859977 is talking about. It's like I'm kind of supporting the factories that make the merch in general, I guess?
>>
>>8859990
As someone who Taobaos a lot, it does confirm that they're not bootlegs because if something is sold as factory defect, it's sold for usually under the equivalent of $1.50 depending on the quality while if they were bootlegs they could charge more by trying to pass them off as genuine.
>>
If I went to a panel and the host advocated buying knockoffs it would rub me wrong. Knockoffs are tacky, especially of exclusives. There is a difference between official straps and fakes. It's usually more noticeable on rubber ones. The colors will be off and they just look..cheap. Kind of like the ugly straps you see sold in Hot Topic.
>>
>>8860041
We aren't advocating fakes just factory rejects. I only dislike factory rejects in the Disney pin trading community.

That bring said I'm not a huge fan of bags covered in buttons of various stolen images
>>
>>8860041
I have to agree. Some people think of it as a hobby to support the character separately from the company, but I think the two go hand in hand and that there is meaning in buying official merch. Bootlegs just rub me the wrong way. Not sure how I feel about factory rejects either. They're a step up from blatant bootleg, but it tends to be the factory selling them and not the person behind the characters, so I don't feel that uphold the spirit of itabags. I guess it's because I'm an artist, but I wouldn't be very happy to find out that the factory manufacturing my art is secretly selling it on the side.

AZ panel anon here. Does this sound alright? I don't want to make a mistake regarding a sensitive topic.

>While the hobby was initially created to showcase your love of a series/character much like Western badge bags seen regularly at conventions, in Japan it does also have an emphasis on showcasing your love in the form of how much you spent on official merchandise like in (insert video here of that news interview) where itabag creators spend a premium on exclusive event merchandise. However, much like in the early Western forms of itabags, there are less money-consuming options for those who merely want to showcase their favorite series/character without breaking the bank to do so. Some create their own merchandise (see itabag chart with handmade section) while others will buy secondhand merchandise or factory rejects from sites like eBay, Yahoo!Japan, or Taobao. There are some that will buy bootleg merchandise due to their decision not to spend a lot of money on their bags or in the case of only using bags at certain events during the year while others are simply afraid of taking their bags out only to find out they've lost an expensive item along the way. Everyone has their own personal preferences and may not agree with another's decisions for their bag or the merchandise on it, but in the end it's important to remember that we're all just fans sticking shiny things onto our bags to show our love of something.
>>
>>8860070
Except the artists aren't the ones getting the merchandise made in the first place? It's the companies who basically bought the rights to turn your art into a series.

This is how factory rejects work:

1. Company in Japan says "Here, make 1,000 of these for us and we'll pay you for the goods."
2. Factory in China produces the 1,000 but 100 aren't perfect. They can't get away with just including them and hoping the Company doesn't notice.
3. Factory has to make extra to cover 100 defective ones.
4. Factory only gets paid for 1,000 and they've spent extra product ingredients to make that extra 100. They can't take a loss for those ingredients and Company won't say "Well it was your factory error but we'll pay you for 1,100"
5. Factory can either throw away the 100 defective or sell them to 'Factory Defect' shops to get some money back.
6. Factory sells them to Defective Shop in bulk price, Defective Shop then sorts through the bulk to find what they can sell for small profit to people who don't care if it's got some small flaws because it's so cheap in price.

I mean, there are entire websites that sell ONLY factory defect items to consumers. There's even clothing factory defect websites where people will buy expensive brand name stuff for a fraction of the price because "Oh, there's a printing error in the lining of this Coach purse but it's still Coach." and it's the same with itabag straps. "Oh, there's some extra rubber on this strap but I can trim it off with scissors and it's only $1 so why not?"
>>
If you think about it, buying second hand official merchandise doesn't help support the official artist/companies either. To truly support the artist/companies of your husbando/waifu, you have to buy the items at a retailer like AmiAmi or Anime Jungle and Kinokuniya bookstore or any western anime stores that carry official and legit merchandise. When you buy second hand, you give money to the person selling it, not the creators. I like factory rejects since they are not official but almost near it (they just had an accident in the process making) and makes me feel less bad if I modify the strap or badge into something else.

Fanmade merchandise is cool because you put your effort and love for your character into making something nice for your bag and show it off.
>>
To be fair to factory rejects they ate selling them for pennies it's not like they are making the same profit by passing them off as legit.

Second for us in the west we have to pay a ludicrous amount for shipping and other fees even if we do want official merch. Now I love my official merch but I'm going to have a hard time justifying $200 more worth of merchandise when it would cost me 5000 yen in japan.

I'm fine with a mix of bothe so you can support the company but still create an intense visual impact.
>>
>>8860127
>>8860132
What these said. It's expensive as fuck for us to get official merch straight from the source so I know me personally all my bag merch is secondhand from ebay/Y!J and factory rejects from Taobao for the stuff I couldn't find secondhand without paying as much as new would cost. Secondhand isn't supporting the artist/company either if you think about it but yet that's completely accepted? As long as you're not bragging about your bootlegs or trying to pass them off as official stuff, then who cares? You're not going to stop someone and cause a scene because you walked past them and saw their bag didn't have official merch on it.
>>
>>8859957
Three more days, it's credits so it was only there if you had an account before 2016 new year though.
>>
>>8860127
>>8860144
The way I see it, secondhand is always okay because at some point someone did buy it first hand. It's not your own money going to the companies but the person you're buying it from did and you're reimbursing them. Scalping is different though, and I try to only buy secondhand things for around the same price they retailed at.

Plus you're also paying for the quality and official label that comes with liscenced goods. A secondhand Gucci purse is still more Gucci than a knockoff that copied the design and never gave a cent to the original brand.

That said, I'd say factory rejects are totally fine, but I'm not sure if I'll ever buy any myself.

Anyone here have the zakkamart tote? Maybe it's just this picture, but to me it looks like there's a lot of extra space in the clear bag. But then there was a post in one of the previous threads saying the same thing about the salus bags had the same problem. >but what if I don't win one or more of those lots?
>symmetry of bag ruined

I would absolutely hate not having each character's version of the same item, but I'm also a cheapskate and don't want to shell out too much for each lot, given that I'm going to have to buy several. I'm thinking of just buying more stuff for one character and putting off working on the OT3 bag, but ugh...

the seller's name on y!japan is wphl4219 if anyone is interested in scoring some cheap badge sets for utapri, KNB, touken, yowapeda, haikyuu, kamigami, etc.

Is there any Mob Psycho merchandise? The anime hasn't aired yet so I'd wait a few months before itabags pop up. Though I'd love a Reigen itabag just for fun.

does anyone in the UK have experience purchasing from amiami? i've placed an order for my first bag, but wondering what everyone's experience with the site is. is it reliable?

Ah, lucky! I've had one sitting there for over a week now. The other two got there this past week. It's so frustrating.

I'm from the US but amiami is a reliable seller, never had any problems with my shipments. Only thing you might have to worry about is customs charging you for your package since I've heard it's somewhat common in Europe. Hope an actual UKanon can help you further!

following up on this
>use buyee to place bids on three separate item lots

>bid for third lot didn't even seem like it was ever placed
>send them an email asking what happened, no response yet
>check on other lots that are ending within the day
>now it says "you cannot bid on items from this seller" on everything I had bookmarked

why the fuck, buyee. they've been fucking up a lot for me lately, so I might just go back to FJ despite what a previous anon said about them using heavy boxes to raise shipping prices. or I'll just buy items individually at a higher price from someplace like suruga-ya, because this is turning into a huge hassle.

Have you ever had a manga husbando/waifu and your love was only intensified when it became an anime?
After just watching Noblesse Awakening Raizel has skyrocketed back to the top of my harem.
How hard is it going to be to find merch for a Korean manwha/ova? Will I have to wait for it to be made into a series?
>>
>>8864975
I'm dying to see what this looks like.

>>8865226
I'm the opposite. I have an anime husbando who I loved even more when I read his parents in a later produced mini-manga series. Though I have a Touken Ranbu husbando as well and there's rumors of an anime series coming out for it so there's that..

If there's an OVA for the series, you should be able to find merch easier than you would if it were just the manwha. Still wouldn't be as easy as if there were a full series for it though. I'd check the creator's twitter or see if there's an official twitter for the OVA since those kinds of accounts often will post about any available merch.

These threads have inspired me to make my own itabag, since I've been using the same drawstring bag for conventions since 2008. Very low chance of mass produced official merch, sorry anon.

There should be fanmade merch available, though it'll be hard for you to get your hands on them since it's mostly sold at local cons or through an online ordering system unless you're fluent in Korean?

Guys, I have a problem. There's tons of characters I like, but I'm hitting my 20s and getting out of the obsessing over husbandos fase.
I don't think I'll be able to devote myself entirely to just one character. Is it fine to make it of different characters?
>>

That's fine, there's no rules. I have two itabags for two different characters, but I've seen bags for series, pairings etc.

>Missed POs for Kashuu plush

>>8866368
Yeah not every anime gets tons of merch so a Korean webtoon has a very low chance even though Noblesse is very popular.

I've seen some charms and prints before on the online listings for Seoul Comic World when I was browsing through a few months ago. I could set up a guide later on for a basic Korean template ("Hi I'm from __ and I'd like to purchase ___") later on when I have the time!

You can also try commissions for chibis? And then ask the artist if they'll give you permission to make charms for personal use. And you can take screencaps and make custom buttons. Or maybe if you're good at sewing you could buy that teddy bear everyone uses and make an outfit of your husbando for it.

It sucks that you have an obscure husbando but hopefully it works out!

Here you go! I recently got a lot of merch at once and haven't had time to rearrange it again, but here's my most recent picture. I just bought one of those POMMOP bags in purple from AmiAmi, so I should be pretty much redoing it when that comes in. I also preordered a Polnareff lace bracelet to put on it.

I almost lost a button off of it the other day, so I really need a way to start protecting my merch. I'm also terrified of my rubber charms getting dirty. Any suggestions welcome!
>>
>>8867700
I'd make a clear bag to go over it! They're pretty simple to make and supplies can be easily found at Joann or whatever. Nice collection though!!
>>
>>8867700
OMG sauce on that Iggy and those sound effects?
>>
Would it be bad if I made my own merch? Or is that considered cheating?
Not talking about etsy-tier shit made with felt and badly stuck together with hot glue.
I mean like rosette ribbon pins, embroidery, amigurumi chibis...
>>
>>8868448
Look at the thread. We have discussed this already
>>
>>8863658
I'm interested in this too, though you may also want to consider actually sewing the pins and charms to your backpack so they don't fall off. My friend has a sort of itabag-kinda backpack and they sewed the button pins on I think.
>>
>>8864285
Nevermind, I checked yja and I guess cause it's 2016 everyone wants to unload their embarassing Hetalia merch or whatever cause I found a FUCK TON of Germany merch. In just one FJ bidding session I think I already have enough shit to make a decent itabag.

Still slowly trying to collect items that I like for Erwin though. I wish there was more fan merch but I guess I started too late, there's not too much cute fanmerch keychains and shit cause SnK isn't in vogue anymore.

The sound effects, I'm really not sure where they are from unfortunately. I bought them at Katsucon from an artist, but it was so crowded and hectic, I didn't even get to chat or take her business card.

>>8868532
Polnareff anon! Ughh, I feel so bad but I also don't know where it's from. It's from a vendor I've run into a few times at cons, but I don't know their name. They only ever have a couple when I see them and they are always tucked behind other stuff. If I see them again I will let you know! Also, if you see any other cool Polnareff stuff, please post it! He is my husbando as well, and I love seeing merch for him. ;_;

For the unknown artist/vendor I could check the floor plan layout of Katsucon and see if I can find them if you want? It would just have to be tomorrow, when I'm not on my phone.

I know in lolita some sellers will cancel your bid if they think you're a shopping service and they don't like that. Can same thing happen for merch shit? Cause I'm pretty sure this seller has cancelled my bid like 3 times now. First time I thought someone outbid me, second time I thought the same thing but noticed the bid was lower than the max I put in, third time I tried again just to see what happened and yeah I'm almost sure the seller keeps cancelling my bid.
>>
>>8869504
they definitely can and will. buyee flags auctions for you that contain something in the description about not allowing proxies to make bids, so at least in those cases you know not to bother. but even when they don't explicitly state that, I've had situations where I'm pretty sure my bid was cancelled because of the proxy account.

I don't really get what the big deal is. so what if some merch might be leaving the country? does it seriously rustle their jimmies that much over a gaijin piggu buying their shit?? because it can't be about proxies being bad buyers, pretty much all of them have a no cancellations allowed policy for that reason.
>>
>>8869320
I always thought he was more of a drifter but that makes sense too. Now I know why Moomintroll likes him so much.
>>
>>8869529
yeah I have no idea either. for lolita I think it's sort of dumb but I can kind of understand not wanting a particular dress to leave the market like rare or coveted pieces buy anime merch, esp cheapo shit like keychains seems weird to be so protective over. It's fine I guess, I've found a lot of that particular keychain on yja that I've bid on already and I'm sure I'll find another one. Just thought that was odd.
