Sorry not Canadian so this is just general advice. Look on the listing/shop that you got it from and see if they have a timetable thing of how long they expect the shipping to take (this is sometimes on the main bit of the listing next to the prices and stuff). also look at how many days they allow for sending it out (usually up to 7 i think), and calculate it from there. I'm in the UK and im only just getting some 11/11 stuff. but if its 7+31 (high end of their estimates, stuff for me usually says 15-31 i think), then its still just about within the time frame. I've bought both the sheep & bear socks. I love them both to death! You'll need to sew the ears/pom-poms on again since they fall off/become loose pretty easily. Otherwise mine are holding up well; I've had them for 3-4 months now and wear them about once a week. They're very solid, bordering on kinda heavy. The shoulder strap looks totally goofy if in use because the handles are unremovable. It's lined with a couple of pockets.
I had to try not to laugh too hard in the store once I saw they were selling for $200+!

The fabric is really soft & fuzzy! It's more like a plush type material than a towel material. It's also really soft on the inside so it's super comfy to wear. The pompoms hung way too low for my taste (like down to the pocket) so I cut them off. The colors on this one are just like the product photos. The only problem I have with it is it's a little short for a hoodie, so you might want to be wary of ordering it if you're tall. Also the pocket in front is kinda small.

I own them myself, they are pretty generic shoes that everyone and their dog sells.
The bows are a tad smaller than pictured and the fabric is a little velvet-like rough, so it catches dust very easily. But this can be removed pretty easily with a wet towel. They aren't pretty durable tough. The sole already rubbed off after one wear. I put in an extra sole that's very soft for extra comfort anhd it solved this prolem as well. On the inside I can feel that my big toe nail (despite being really short) starts to make a hole.
I love them despite the issues, because they are ultra cute and easy to replace.

I have no remorse in these situations, and if purchase protection is about to run out and I still don't get my stuff, I escalate the dispute. I've done tons of disputes on Ali. I got burned a couple of times by sellers by not escalating the dispute.

I was trying to be fair, like if it came shortly after the 45 day mark I wouldn't of cared as much but its been 70 days since I ordered it. The wig didn't even leave china until December 17th which alone was 50 days since I ordered it.
Im probably going to tell him that I wont give him the refund back. I have missed cosplaying for 4 cons/meet ups due to not having the wig and not having any back ups anymore and I already got my cosplays for the next few cons/meet ups planned out so I don't see me wearing this cosplay any time in the near future.

I've ordered over 100 items from aliexpress over like two years, lots of accessories and stuff.
I've had like two things never arrive. And I got refunded the money (even if it was only like 2 bucks)
The most problems I've had with quality is if I buy something that's crazy cheap. Like a shirt for $5 or something. Those are often super weird materials, but I've learned to check what they're made out of to avoid this
Also, I mostly use aliexpress to buy small accessories, since other stuff is usually pretty meh.
I did however get a nice blouse that my boyfriend ordered for me for only $20.
Only thing that's shitty is that everytime you give bad reviews, like you said, tje seller tries to get you to change it. Sometimes they come with some sob story that their family wont be able to eat and that everyone in their family will die etc.
And sometimes if you ask for refunds, they offer like a $2 coupon when the item was worth $15. Like, yeah, no thanks.
