I know that you're likely to be disappointed if you want good quality shoes. Most of the ones you find on eBay are badly made and use cheap materials, not to mention the fact that they vary wildly in quality so the same shoe from 2 different sellers can be completely different products. I ordered one that was just like the picture. I really liked it! It carries what I need it to and was bigger than I expected. It also has little things on the side to attach a shoulder strap but they didn't sell one with it, so you have to buy your own. I think it's more comfortable if you have a shoulder strap because otherwise you have to either carry it with the short straps on your shoulder (which is really uncomfortable) or like the picture or just in your hand, which I'm personally not a huge fan of.

These are just overpriced taobao blouses. I bought the exact same one from taobao and I'm pretty sure you'll get the same thing when ordering it from eBay.
The fabric is a little thin but the construction is fine otherwise.

So I had a costume custom made and everything was fine. When it came in the only thing that fit was the pants- the jacket, boots and wig were all wrong. I followed the seller's measurement guide but when I put the costume on the places where the jacket rests doesn't even match up where they said the measurements would be. The boots are about an inch or two too big, and the wig they sent instead of Burgundy they sent a brown wig with red highlights. They requested picture proof which I gladly sent, ignored both the wig and boots and told me that 'I' measured wrong and would be required to pay for another jacket since it is my fault.
Then a friend found that they are selling the same costume for like- 20-30 cheaper on ebay for the same exact thing with 30 day return.
Is there anything I can do about this-- because Etsy's policies state if it is worn they can't do anything.. but the seller demanded proof [probably so I couldn't open a case] or am I like.. screwed?

Take pics of anything that doesn't match the description. Pleather boots instead of leather, brown wig instead of burgundy, things like that. If you send proof pics to the seller and open a dispute you should have a chance. Save pictures of the ebay costume too, if they match the outfit you got more than the outfit the Etsy seller advertised that will help your case (especially if it's obvious it's not the same costume as the one you paid for).

Definitely don't give them any more money! If you have evidence of all that (the messages where they told you to give those measurements) submit it to etsy. Idk how their complaints system works as ive never used it, but presumably you get to submit evidence to them so that they decide who is right.
How did you pay? If paypal, you can open a complaint through them. If it was a credit/debit card look up what protection you are given through that e.g. visa debit has 'chargeback' which is a way to reclaim money. This will differ from country to country but in the UK you do it through your bank, but it is only available if you spent over £100 i think. Credit cards often offer more protection that debit, i believe. Again, cant tell you exactly as it will differ between countries and card providers.
But try to sort it through etsy if possible, move on to these after

So I just received it today (roughly 2 weeks) and it's pretty much exactly what you see in the photographs. It's made from the generic woven polyester fabric you see on all cosplays.
Some negatives points are
-stray threads and bunching
-The stripes are satin ribbon, so at some parts it's pretty wobbly
-I'm 5'4 and this reaches just barely below my butt
All in all, pretty decent if you just want a cheap cosplay and not critical of details and if you're under 5'5-5'4. Also if you want to get it, buy a size up.

I bought one before on taobao (sorry not ebay) because it was crazy cheap but I figured it'd be useful for school uniform cosplays since I have so many of them. I wasn't expecting much since it was like $5 but when it arrived I was so surprised at how good the quality was. I've only used it for a few cons (so no real wear and tear) but I love it! Seems pretty durable and sturdy, plenty of pockets and has these stoppers (sry I'm not sure what they are called) on the bottom so that if you have to rest it on the ground your bag wont get dirty or scratched up.
I have the navy with grey straps as well and the color is perfect imo. It was bigger than I imagined it to be like another anon reviewed but it's not ridiculously looking or anything plus it does kind of need to be that big to fit in notebooks if you were actually using it for school I guess.

Sometimes the threading isn't the same, but yeah acrylic ends should be fine as long as they aren't in your mouth or right by mucous membranes, I wouldn't trust ebay jewellery for that. If it's just for a well healed navel or something that's fine.

I couldn't open a case for the item for some reason so I took a screenshot of my email and sent it to the seller. I got the refund very quickly and the seller was polite and asked for good feedback. I'm not sure why I was so paranoid but I figured I'd share the update.

I have these. The cats are small as fuck, like not even 2 inches tall. I got the folded ear one and there's a slight misprint in that it's slightly off page to the left. Box is really weirdly designed so that the cats have a hard time actually standing up. I got it on TaoBao for cents so still worth it to me, but beware.

I was surprised that the quality is so nice. (Then again it wasn't exactly cheap.)
It's not lined but that's not necessary anyway since the material is so fluffy and soft. The bottom hem has an elastic band in it. Clean seams and appliqués too (see pics). All in all worth the price imho.

You can find them on eBay but I'm not sure it's the best place for something like that, since they tend to be tailored and quite smart and eBay cosplays... aren't.
