>What's the oldest brand you have?
The oldest I have are from 2008- IW's Dolce jsk and Baby's Garden op.
>What's the most recently released brand you have?
If taobao applies to this then The Maiden of Versailles jsk from Inori, but if not then AP's Secret Rose Princess skirt (which isn't... particularly recent).

Mainly classic. I have lots of pink and blue...

18 total; 1 skirt, 6 OPs, and 11 JSKs

I've quite a few older baby pieces, the oldest is probably from the early 2000's, but I'm not 100% sure.

An AP headdress from back when they were called Pretty.

Some Meta LP items.

Aand who's jumping on the Love Live! Sunshine!! bandwagon before the show even comes out? I'm going to wait until I've watched a bit with my sister, and if it doesn't suck I'll cosplay it.

Is it okay to alter a design for a cosplay if you're just making it sfw?
I would just be covering the cleavage and making the skirt a bit longer, nothing drastic.
>>
>>8944358
no. if you don't cosplay strictly true to canon designs then the cosplay punishment squad reserves all rights to beat you unconcious.
>>
>>8944358
imo that's fine. you kind of have to in some cases if you don't want the cops called on you *i'm lookin at you, ryuko*
but i think it's fine to alter a design a little bit in general anyways, if it's for stylistic reasons, so maybe my opinion doesn't count

Oh no... she actually stitched it quite well. Too bad so much of it is terrible.
>>
>>8957524
If she replaced the lace fabric with the fabric she used for the sleeves, it would look infinitely better.
>>
>>8957524
I feel like this would look nicer if the pink lace was replaced with a better quality ivory lace or even ivory fabric.

602 KB,
Need some help here! If you can believe it, my friend's looking for a bunnysuit, or perhaps a good method of making one. Since I'm well-known to be the obsessive creep on this subject, she's asking me for help. While I've been looking, I see a lot of flimsy ones being sold online, and yet a lot of pretty cosplayers who've pulled their suits off very well.

Mostly I lurk here for the dresses, but would anyone happen to have experience with these bunnysuits, or have a good way of going about making one? Maybe even know a place to buy a nice one?...

Your only shot at getting a good quality one is making it. Store bought ones will look like shit. Ask in the help thread for tips.
>>
And I suppose here's the best point of reference I've found so far, regarding the suit itself. Good leg line, fabric looks nice and classy and sturdy enough, and no straps needed.

She's actually made a few of her own cosplays, the friend that is, but I guess nothing like one of these yet.
>>
>>8944744
Ah, thanks. Should I just delete this thread and ask there in the same way?

So the heads of Nishicon revealed that Nishicon really is going to the old Animecon location in Almelo. And that it wasn't April Fool's joke.

So, how many old fags are ready for a trip down memory lane?
>>
>>8943375
I am! Animecon in Almelo was the first con I ever attended. I clearly remember all the fun I had with my friends over at both the con and the "alternatief slapen" camping. Naturally, we all went our own ways over the years and this is the perfect occasion to get everyone back together for one final con.
>>
>>8943375
Shit. I was excited for Nishicon but that's a 3 hour trip.

Lowered the price again, I honestly just want this gone so I can start looking for dream items.
I'm up to trade it, or partial trade, or anything really. The otks have never been opened, and the dress was only tried on by myself and the previous owner.

I ship from the US.

Is that Peter Pan fighting a Pirate? Nice.

Does anybody know if there are any permanent LARP settlements anywhere? I mean there must be some group out there that have bought some land and are LARPing together as a closed community of some kind? It can't be a cult though!

no. It's Peter Pan fighting Robin Hood.
And no, there are no such things as a permanent LARP settlements where there are 24/7 larping. There are permanent larp settlements though that are sometimes used, or reenactor villages and such.

What's the point of a maid cafe if none of the waitresses are cute? It's no wonder they never took off outside Japan, the girls who sign up are always unwashed weebs in shitty party city maid uniforms. Maid cafe thread?

First maid cafe in NY. Look at how shit those uniforms are.
>>
>>8936093

maid cafes outside Jap should be way stricter on uniform rules desu

like make wigs and proper maid makeup mandatory, otherwise it looks shoddy as hell
>>
>>8936093
I think all maids look shit, japanese or not. The japanese ones don't care much about quality and western maids throw random edgy stuff in to make them unique. Maids only look cute in anime.
