Converting straight from video to gif works fine, but I usually edit a bit to reduce the file size or shuffle the frames to make the looping animation look smoother and so on.

Ero Manga Sensei is ok. While the comedic moments are still top notch, the drama aspects seem kinda all over the place. If you are really curious it's not a bad idea to read them, but it's not too big of a deal to miss it for now.

So do you have a list of reactions/gif's for later episodes or do you just watch until you find a good one? Or do you just regularly rewatch?
I guess I'm asking what your process is for these. There's other series where I'd like to take screencaps or make webms for threads on /c/ but if I actually watch the episode, I'd have to pause and write down when they occur. I jut wouldn't have the attention span to rewatch the episode/series enough times to do them all outside of doing it that way.

I do rewatch sessions to get materials for editing. I progress one episode at a time (and I currently have only one character & show to worry about), so it's easy to remember which part I was at the last time and rewatching does not feel too overwhelming.
I also keep an 'under construction' folder for screenshots I take. It's usually couple of episodes ahead of the finished stuff, so in a way the contents of the folder also works as a to-do list for later episodes.
While I've occasionally scouted some other series for scenes I'm interested in, I've usually just used the bookmark feature in the video player for those.

I don't even know if this is the right place to post this sort of shit but whatever. This anime litterally destroyed me. I don't know why it affected me this much. Usually when I watch that kind of anime I just have this sort of " dreamy mood " just like when coming out of a movie and going back to normal life. But it goes away like 2-3 days after it. A week maybe at worst.
But with this anime.it's been over 2 weeks and I still feel like shit. At first it was because of how the ending affected me. The way they so happily agreed to only living their lives as lover until they graduate after all they've been trough, after all the sacrifices kyosouke made by giving up on all these girls he could've hanged out with just pissed me off somehow. It felt like as the entire anime up to this point had been completly useless. They merely live their lovelife for a few months and it's already over? And they accept it so easily as if it meant nothing to them?
But as time went by, I discovered that the other reason why this hit me so hard is because of how the protagonist is described. He lives a fairly normal life, he is no hero or superhuman that will achieve great task in his life. He is common and he knows it, that even in the future he will remain someone common.
And that reminded me of myself. That up until now I have lived an incredibly boring life but on top of that, I will never get to feel such strong passion towards anyone because I feel like I simply don't give a shit about anyone. And that thought has been haunting me ever since... The thought of being empty that I will never feel such loving passion like kyousuke did towards his sister ( Don't get me wrong, Im not into incest ). That my life has been, is and will never be as interesting and thrilling as the ones in animes/movie/serie or even other people's life who found a passion that makes them wake up every morning.
No one probably cares but whatever. Anyone felt like shit too after watching this anime ?
