It's news about the collaboration project between EMS and Oreimo. Apparently it's sort of like a CYOA with the audience voting (11/28 Premium Members Only?). They also seem to be streaming S1 (11/14) and S2 (11/22 Premium Members Only) episodes.
Slightly disappointing since it likely won't be translated.
Hoshikuzu Namida 5 really isn't coming out is it? It's been about a year.

Kyousule falls in love with Kirino
Unable to confess it to her face, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, when she's out, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But later, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the Kirino he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the Kirino's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with Kyousuke's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other sibling. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of INCEST LOVE.

That's exactly why the anime is bad, it completely fucked the character development of Kirino and Kyousuke. It cut a ton of important scenes and neglected Kirino to give side characters more focus. Also a good amount of dere moments were left out while leaving in all the tsun scenes.

I'll be honest, and that's my point of view: very. The 1st season was good (at least for me), the S2 was very bad. I don't mean Anime-speaking, but compared to the LN.
Kirino in the anime is really too much tsun tsun, and the S2 didn't change it.
To quote the Oreimo Spoonfeeding Guide:

Most people are left angry by the ending, so a pastebin was put together to help anime viewers for this very reason (linked below). Seemed like everyone wanted the dead end. Literally since Sagiri was obviously gonna Sagiri (EMS-mode) and Ayase was gonna Ayase (Yandere-mode). And I'm kinda disappointed that all three of those things didn't really happen.

I've finished the second season yesterday. I enjoyed it very much. I found it a little weird that Kyousuke decided to give up so much just to live a make believe temporary relationship with his little sister, it seemed that his love came out of nowhere. But I enjoyed the ride very much, I thought I was gonna feel weird if the siblings actually did something, but towards the ending of the series I was really hoping that the couple went full on incest (sex and all), cause I wanted at least one of the characters to have a proper happy ending. When Kyosuke woke up with Kirino sleeping by his side, was when I thought "ohh boy, they are gonna do it right now, ohh boy!!", but they didn't... felt bad, bro. Also his romance with Kuroneko was just too cute, and educative to let us know how innocent the characters actually were even though they have been talking about sex and incest all the time. It was my first "rom-com" anime, and now that it has ended, I'm left with that feeling of wanting more Kirino. 9.9/10. Would watch again with a girlfriend or with my sister.

Either read the LN's or watch it again; I went into it knowing how it was going to end and there's a lot of subtext about what characters actually feel and how they're keeping it hidden, sometimes from themselves. As mentioned earlier in the thread though, the anime cut out a lot of Kirino scenes where she wasn't being quite so tsundere, which may be why you see their relationship as coming out of left field.
If you're looking for another "rom-com" in a somewhat similar style, I'd suggest Toradora. It's also got a lot of subtlety to it that nearly requires a second watching for you to notice. /a/ supposedly has a group watching of it that's supposed to start tomorrow, but I haven't seen any details for it. Also you're better off with subbed, the dub is god awful.
