I was in AC in Georgia for 3 years.
From what I could tell, most of the big actors didn't really care THAT much about the money. It was more a competition between them, getting the biggest paychecks for movies. All the time they spend in hotel rooms and trailers, it's often like they aren't even enjoying their millions.
And I'm not shocked they have zero interest in investing. With over $10 mil in the bank, who even gives a fuck?

To be fair, they probably have an accountant or financial planner who does their thinking for them. Look at Jimmy Carr's tax evasion in the UK. Maybe he asked his accountant to get him more money in anyway possible, maybe his accountant said "I can make you more money if you give me a raise". But you can be damn sure he didn't transfer or invest the money entirely on his own.
