How do I network?
>>964128
I'm going to bump this with a question of my own
If alumni don't respond, what's the chances strangers will? I have a feeling my alumni doesn't give a shit about us students and it shows
Bump. I'm socially awkward around people I don't know.
>>964128
Easy, just use your parents network. They don't have one idk. Some people get lucky and have successful parent who open a lot of doors for them.
>tfw have never had to do an interview before
What are your goals for 2016? Both financial and otherwise.

>Relocate to a different state (and get a job in that state relatively easily hopefully)
>Move out of parent's house
>Big one would be to somehow increase my annual savings rate. I'll be at $10k next year just from...

What would happen if someone happened to take out student loans, finish their degree(or not) and then left the country without paying them back?
Their credit would be shot but would anything else happen if they didn't return? Because I'm not sure why this isn't a more significant problem. Couldn't tons of people theoretically do this with no repercussions?
>>961869
Probably nothing. Time to go for that masters in Computer Science OP.
Leave the country. Then what?? You get citizenship elsewhere??
It's not that easy.
Fuck that bro. USA all the way.
>>961871
>Leave the country. Then what?? You get citizenship elsewhere??
Dual-citizenship or yes applying for new citizenship(pretty sure this can't be difficult if you have work experience/degree and/or money).
>>961870

Was there anyone who successfully predicted the 2008 stock market crash before it happened?
And I don't mean some random asshat saying"I totally knew it I swear" I mean is there any articles or videos from 2007 and earlier that predict the 2008 crash?
>>967172
There are always people claiming a market crash is coming so there's bound to be some
plenty of them

I predicted it, but didn't know what I was doing. I was long ProShares UltraShort Real Estate (ticker SRS) for $50k in early 2008. It doubled in 6 months or so but I thought worst wasn't over and didn't sell. I think I ended up down 40% when I sold in 2009.
First mistake: I did not...

Housing market crash in Canada when?
The Asians will keep on coming.
It's already topped out and is deflating, especially in Alberta. Toronto and Vancouver are resistant to it though and keep going up no matter what.
>>966532
Never.
The housing bubble was suppose to have been "popping" for the last 20 years. Or that's at least how long faggots were spamming that shit
