Paypal Credit merged with Bill me later earlier this year and had a promotion where you can get six months to pay off the credit.
I tried it this summer, bought about 600 dollars worth of eBay in July, paid by October. I'm just paranoid since a lot of people are getting raped by the 20% APR.
Any advice or experience before I hit it again before the promotion ends again on the 31st?
They didn't merge. PayPal simply changed the name from BillMeLater to PayPal Credit
I've done a few searches and cant seem to find a website that gives free, in detail industry research. I'm essentially looking for industry standards. Do any of you know of any sites where I can find this information for free? Thanks.
Industry standards for what? What currency is used in exports from Norway? What units commodities are measured in? That sort of thing?
>>1017297
Industry standard for anything. I was hoping I could get information based on different NAICS numbers.
Do you think Hiro's making any money?
Yes, because he took out a loan to buy us, and if he was just taking it over from Moot because he wanted to unload it, he wouldn't have made him pay.
Don't forget about the lack of ads for 4chan news and rules, and the new ads on the front page. Hiro is probably rolling in dosh.
not from 4sheen

>you think
you are one of those newfags that still thinks this board is anonymous n' sheeit.
Do you need to know market microstructure to make money trading?
>>1017205
Nope.
You need to understand human nature and the way it influences behavioral patterns.
That and a bunch of cash.
>>1017205
sort of.. you need to understand how liquidity works and how risk is transferred throughout the market, what that means exactly totally depends on what you want to trade
>>1017377
I agree with this entirely.
hey /biz/
so i own several businesses which i pursue only working from home. obviously they really heavily on each one of them having their individual web presence, including social media channels some amount of online interaction with potential clients. the amount of saved passwords, emails, and login data i have to copy paste and keep track of is starting to become absolutely absurd.
so i was wondering: is there a chrome extension that lets me use sort of 'profiles', from which i can switch instantly?
so say i'm using my 'private'...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

i cant into creative.
there is obviously programming, but i doubt i can get anywhere all by myself in any kind of near future.
trading is risky and i have no capital and no idea what im doing anyway.
>>1017118
everything outside of what you name requires a hefty dose of entrepeneurial spirit to pursue seriously.
social media management mb ? (you'll need to sell your services, which requires promotion skills, a neat website, and you'll have to show off your skills by establishing your service within social media itself.
Here you go

Now go steal a squeegee from a gas station and stand in traffic. You now are self-employed, and without excuses.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbZ8zDpX2Mg
>>1016977
Considered it but I took Jesse Livermore's advice and waited for the market to act as I predict so currently I'm just sitting on a few deflated oil stocks.
>>1016977
Guy sounds like he's talking about Band Camp.
Seriously though, how does one short Bitcoin?
Never bought any so I haven't been to any of their exchanges.
Do the exchanges allow you to short the way a brokerage does?
>>1017133
>how to short Bitcoin
You don't, just buy and hold for 10 years and get rich when you don't need to sell.
Hi guys, does anyone know whats the usual assumptions behind the time horizon and rates for debt issued for management buyouts? thanks much!
no ibankers here?
>>1016943
Are you talking about debt for equity deals? Or are you just paying off the suits to leave?
Be more specific.
Sold $10k this year on eBay.
Work in retail and make maybe 20k
I did not keep track of how much profit or loss I had on ebay
How much taxes do you think I'll have to pay.

>>1016938
You're a fucking retard. Like holy shit, how do you not forget to breathe?
>>1016946
I used to use that as an insult, then I learned breathing is fully automatic even if you try your hardest to stop.
>>1016946
Lol yeah I accept that.
Now what bs my profit?
Eat taxes?
How do I get hired at retail stores despite being ugly?
Just apply. A lot of times they will just move you to something not customer facing. My entire warehouse is full of ugly, fat, and heavily tattooed people.
I undestand if you want to work at some clothing store like at Forever 21 or shit but regular retail?
I don't think nobody gives a rats ass about your face
>>1016903
they don't care how attractive you are, they want someone who will show up on time and cause the least amount of hassle and problems
I'm probably going fishing on the Bering Sea this spring/summer/fall. During that time, I'll have access to snail mail once weekly, the occasional email, and, very rarely, maybe a phone call. What are some ways I should be putting my money to work while I'm nearly cut off from society?
>>1016871
High yield dividend stocks
>>1016885
That's kind of what I was thinking, I was looking into Coca Cola and shit. Are there any precautions I should take in case shit really goes south while I'm stuck on the boat? I have zero experience trading stocks, outside of some simulation games I played back in high school
I'd stay away from stocks as the market is over priced at the moment.
Even quality companies like Coca Cola are expensive for what they are. Wait till the market to bottom out before buying.
I would suggest investing in oil futures or other commodities.
If your on a fishing vessel maybe invest in fish related futures, eg http://www.nosclearing.com/products/category636.html that way you'll have insider info and can use it to your advantage.
why is it so difficult to find a small business idea?
answering this would solve a lot of threads
what businesses can you set up for cheap which don't require you to trade a lot of your time for little pay
>>1016881
Stick to a regular 9-5.
>>1016866
Because even a successfully designed, solidly structured business won't be profitable for 2-3 years. That would be perfectly acceptable if you have rich parents, which is why most successful people do.
For the rest of us, you'd starve and/or be evicted.
/biz/,
What should one do with their lottery winnings? I'm talking tens of millions here.
I want splerg a tiny bit of the principle $1million max (prob less), then invest the rest for income. What would you do?
>pic unrelated
You should win the lottery first and make these considerations later
>>1016817
hire a great tax accountant Jew so the Government gets their money
I am 26 I don't have any income and I have a credit card that has 1000 limit. I wan't to build my credit so I can get a nice loan to start a business.
>>1016808
You don't need a loan to start a business you need an IQ over 70 and a top 1 percentile work ethic.
People think it's about how smart you are or how much capital you have but it's how hard you grind
>>1016808
Well first, you need a steady source of income. No bank except maybe a loan shark is going to give you money and sit for six months for you to start making an income. You're also going to not use the credit card more than you can pay off by the end of the month. Paying interest on credit cards is bad for credit. Either way I know for a fact right now no one is going to give you a loan of more than $500
>>1016808
Well first of all, why did you put a ' in want?
