If you don't have Big 4 experience, your degree is somewhat limited, but if you put up with it for a year or two you'll be set and can basically do whatever you might imagine from that point on.

The advantage of a big four company is getting a well known company on your resume and (if presented) getting experience with the choosen field fast.
Yes they pay poorly compared to the hours, also you have problems with maintaining a social life besides work.
That's why you see many people leave after 2-5 years. Then they have a proven record and can swith to comfy jobs with higer salary.

What this guy said. My roommate works at PwC (audit) and I dated a girl who did tax at Deloitte. It sucks your first few years, but if you stick it out, you will easily be able to secure six figures within 5 years, either internally or externally.

during busy season (3-4 months) you work similar IB hours. Other than that its usually 45-50 hours a day.
Also you rarely plan to stay in B4 audit forever so once you put your time in you can leave to a more relaxed job.

Senior in high school here with $~1,300 saved up in a 3% interest savings account. I most likely won't be touching the money for at least a year. Is the savings account the best place for me to put it? I don't know much about investing and want to grow my money faster.

Well where you put it depends on the rest of your situation.
You're a freelancer so you have irregular income.
People with irregular income need an income buffer account on top of a 1k emergency fund.
Generally it should be 6 months of expenses. On top of your regular 6 months/ expense savings.
2 grand isn't shit in the grand scheme of things. and when you upgrade to real adult class investments with serious volatility you'll be glad you have those savings.

No, but it costs $375 to try and trademark it, and you need proof that you'd be using it for proper purposes. The government then reviews your case and approves or denies your application. They keep the $375 if they deny you, to pay them for their time spent.

Go to your professors office hours whenever possible. It makes you stick out from the crowd and you will meet other like minded people. When one of your professors industry buddies needs to full a position there is a good chance hell offer it to you.
