I want to day trade bitcoin with my $250k capital, making a small to medium income from small fluctuations. Opinions?
>>1034959
No
Go to a trading firm. Ask them to train you with your own money. When you succeed in training they will offer you to trade with their money as well as yours.
Not with bitcoin, with actual commodities and equities.

After signing up they require 'proof of identity'
does this seem shady, they only require a scanned photo of your drivers licence, even a 16 year old retard can buy a fake id.
why would I even need to provide proof of who I am.
this seems incredibly dodgy, can anyone vouch for IG
Both forex brokers I've used in the US (FXCM and Oanda) have required me to provide proof of my identity. I just sent them a pic of my passport.

Hey /biz. I'm fucking lost and this is all I have in my account grinding 40 hours a week.I'm studying biotechnology in a Community college but I want to graduate without students loans. I have no talents because my fucked dad never let me do shit. I only have my body (bodybuilder) and other than I don't know what to do. I tried to learn code but the shit is hard and fucking boring. Help /biz, I wanna own my business. (pic related)

Hey /biz/ really quick question
I've been super conscientious about building my credit score. I'm looking to make a $23,000 purchase. My checking is around $26,000 so i'm good for it, plus my income will refill it semi quickly.
My question is, will my amex and things see my balance dropping to $3k and financial review me? I could also finance the thing but It's cheaper in the long run to just buy it straight out.
>>1034749
amex doesn't know your bank account balance unless you report it to them, so no.
if you're talking about a 26k line of credit then yes they will see that it drops to 23k/26k uti.
>>1034749
Credit scores are based on patterns and consistency for the most part. Paying routine bills on time, not caring huge debts (not including loans)
>>1034771
And this is w wrong, all your money's are reviewed by the major c credit guys. There's no hiding the zucchini
Post em boys.

Hey /biz/, looking for some advice.
Biomed engineer and applied math major from a top school, doing a ms in cs. Working in consulting. I planned to get into biotech but I'm beginning to doubt that decision. I want to make a switch into algorithmic trading / quant finance. I have no finance experience but solid math/programming background. Gpa above 3.5 but not fantastic.
Is it unrealistic to think I could get a position in a prop trading firm? Is this a bad idea? Worried that I've been blinded by the prospect of making a lot of money and will give up a stable career for something I know nothing about.
>>1034651
Enjoy, my friend :)
>>1034651
Prop trading is a dying business but you don't need a finance background to do it, so you could. It's almost all commissions though.
>>1034651
>Biomed engineer and applied math major from a top school, doing a ms in cs. Working in consulting.
Strangest string of words I've seen on here..
I'm starting at TAMUG as Marine Admin Major who may go on to law school for Maritime Law, am I fucked?
Coupled with trade law?
Sounds good dude.
>>1034602
Well I might try to get into UT, University of Texas for Law of University of Washington state. I do not want to go to Harvard Law since I'm originally from Boston. I would specialize in Admiralty law of course.
Go for it?

So I'm constantly hearing about how much money web-development and other programming fags are earning, but the problem is I don't know anything about coding. However, a lot of people don't know anything about coding, but that doesn't stop them from making money off the product of code monkeys. Anyway, I had a bit of an idea: how difficult would it be to bid on various projects and then contract that work out to upwork monkeys and take the difference between what the customer pays and what you have to pay to upwork coders? I think the biggest problem here...

shouldn't be too hard if you contract from India but it really depends because there are a lot of clients who generally want personal consultations and when they find OP is hiring curries it might be less of an unattractive idea, but depends on market and who you want to hire
if its a consulting business initial outlays will be high but apart from that it's smooth sailing until you factor in ongoing support
Hi /biz/
Just looking for a little career advice.
My eventual aim is to become accomplished as a strategic/business analyst, working my way up from the entry-level position I have now. I'm at a bit of a crossroads concerning what I can study to improve my skill set. Basically the main options I'm looking at are the following:
Master of International Relations (specialising in international political economy, which is my passion and I would eventually be interested in pursuing a PhD in)
Master of Information Systems (a bit more practical...

Passion: The surest path to failure.
Fun: What do you think of life
Safety: no-one got rich playing safe
grit and determination: minimum for entry.

I know a little bit about IS and I think I'd like it. I just don't want to waste time studying it if there's no jobs.

Im going to graduate with a degree in economics and a minor in math, and I have interned at the Fed. What the fuck can I do when I graduate?

Quantitative trading.
I have a connection to buy ladies panties for less than $1 ea an by the truckload if need be.
If I create enough Craigslist ads, websites and whatever I figured I could sell $40 used panties to creepy fucks all day long.
How would I fake used panties on an industrial scale?
How would I remain anonymous while doing this?
>>1034254
>Buy can of tuna
>Blend it
>Apply 15 CC per panty in the seat region.
> Dry in sun
>Scrape any solids for verisimillitude
>>1034254
Yes, anon, I also saw that Orange is the New Black.
>>1034254
>less than $1
thats stlll pricey.
try .01
also remember used panties are illegal to sell (in US) due to health regulations so be careful. Vinigner and sugar for smell
> sell $40 used panties to creepy fucks
wayy to high. You'll be lucky to clear 15$ on a reguler basis, you'll have to create a female persona to have any chance, make them seem personal
Anyone here uses tax havens?
How do I escape the tax kuckoldry?
I've heard there's 2 feasible ways for the non-superriches to invest money through tax havens, the first one is offshore investment (through offshore bank accounts), and the second one is starting an offshore investment company
How do they work and what do I need? I'm confus
>>1034251
Using tax haven only works if your business is making more than $1m annually and you are planning to travel 9 month a year.
I have a website that is selling shit online and is registered in a tax haven.
I can only use its money when I'm traveling
