Ok i need some help guys.
I live in a country where getting a job is literally impossible if you dont have good connections, i am currently studying in college but i really suck at learning astronomical amounts of stuff from books and i think its just not for me. Now how would one go about earning money legally when no job is available and college is a big waste of time? To add even if i finish college finding a job will STILL be a problem, the only solution then would be to leave the country to somewhere where working people are more appreciated.

So a year ago /biz/ told me to download Acorns and let them invest my money. I wasn't seeing any gains at the time so I pulled it out but recently since blue chip prices dipped I figured a moderately aggressive portfolio would have some recent returns in the future.
But now /biz/ is on Robinhood? Should I pull the $50 I have in Acorns out and try to invest it myself in Robinhood? Or is now the right time to let someone else invest my money for safe growth?

So we hear a lot about the student loan bubble. But is education itself a bubble? I've got the beginnings of an idea for a long term organization, and I'm not sure about what sort of legal structure is best. A college would probably give more tax breaks in the short term, but I'm worried that a for-profit corporation would be less affected by changing regulations.
TL;DR: does /biz think governments are going to try to get more money from educational institutions in the future? I'm Canuck if it matters.

I stopped using gas years ago to switch to electricity only. The gas company closed and capped the meter for me as well.
Fast forward to 2016 some dude from the gas company says since we havent used it for like 10 years they need to excavate and cap the main pipeline underground for "safety resasons". I found this ridiculous. What if I want gas again in the future or sell the house to someone who does?

As far as getting an extra job, that is based on your work life balance, so however you want to do that.

Priority #1: Creating an emergency fund. An online high-interest savings account would be pretty decent. You can get up to 1% interest which is low, but these are times we're living in.

How to find a partner for a business? We're talking about 50% share each type of business.
Obviously, I can't just go to social networking sites for that. For someone to be a good partner, you have to establish a sense of friendship and trust with them, before any venture could even be considered. You have to have common values, interests and goals.
