I have been posting here off and on for the last couple months. Roughly 6-8.
Long story short.
Have access to a couple factory price items due to wife's family owning 50% of the factory in China.
The main 2 items are,
A composite wood decking
Circular formwork for columns
The decking is very very high quality and the formwork is very cheap compared to other models on the market.
Both factories turnover roughly $20-30 million a month.

I've been wanting to try putting together a soda kiosk at the mall that sells unique custom flavors. I would have one of those carbonation machines and a bunch of syrups to create the sodas with some glasses from alibaba to hold them. My girlfriend is on a ketogenic diet so she cant have sugar, id like to offer several sugar free versions to appeal to niche crowds as well. I would probably have a few Ice creams as well, vanilla in particular to make floats with the sodas.

Most sodas are dirt fucking cheap. So if it's anything that is hard to find. You could of course sell it for more then your average Coke. I think it sounds pretty awesome if you can get some cool maybe foriegn sodas.

I live in New Zealand and my salary is paid in NZD to my NZ bank account.
I'm moving to Ecuador on behalf of the company and hence my salary payment will continue.
Unfortunately, Ecuador's official currency is USD and the NZD/USD has been dropping for a year and a half and now sits at a very SHIT (for me of course, not so bad for NZ) 0.64:1.
Would be fucking great if Ecuador used a local currency, a peso of some sort, but no so this obviously fucks up my income big time.

I anticipate 20-30% drop in the S&P, but I am positioned to capitalize, based on cash reserves, on up to a 45% drop in the S&P (I'm a conservative investor). That is on top of what has already occurred. I think that most of the commodity devaluation has already been calculated into the market values we are seeing right now. So, I anticipate an minimum
Overall of 20%, a maximum of 30% but based on my understood ignorance I am prepared to benefit from up to a 45% decrease in the economy.
