This is our recession lads. This is our time to shine.
This year will decide the have and the have nots of the millennial generation.
Have the faith to buy low and the courage to sell high.

Absolutely not, please stay wherever you are
Now that the tar sands are worthless there are no jobs for white people in the US anymore.

Bump
Realize that this will take up +60 hours of your life a week and you will have to sacrifice for a long time, without the guarantee of success. This means less time for friends, family, hobbies... your life will become your enterprise.

>hire an asian
>let him develop your idea
>claim all the credit and money

It is pretty fucking easy, to be honest.

How to get your knee caps smashed general
So I am 100% sure that the "shrinking middle class" is simply the previous generation retiring and dying, and the current generation making less than double the wages with 10x the inflation.
>>1051900
No its not. There are simply not many jobs that make "middle" income anymore. There are alot of good jobs for college grads in decent feilds that make 70k after a couple years experience and there are ALOT of jobs that make 25k or less that have no chance of advancement.
So essentially we get more upperclass and more lower class with less middle class.
This is what you get when you lower taxes and break up unions.
>>1051900
So what is your economic recommendation knowing this?
Well maybe not a general but a nice thread for a few days.
How do I begin investing? Not learning about it, but physically buying and selling stocks and commodities? The Robin Hood app can't be used outside the US, so what options do I have?
For myself, I am not interested in day trading so all the things about "quickest execution" and all that. What website is best for sticking a few thousand in to, for example, short oil for a few days, then trade out?
I would also be interested in sticking some money in a tracker fund, to get the most...

Why is both MER and Management fee listed?
Are they both added or whats up with that?
>>1052024
MER relates to the standard or baseline fee the manager will charge. Management fee refers to an outperformance fee, which is of course conditional
Hey /biz/
I'm sending out applications to internships and summer jobs. Can you guys give me pointers on my resume?
>>1048175
You've got a motherfucking 3.94 in Physics, you are probably in the top 10 students in your state lol.
Unless grade inflation hit STEM too. Fluent in 3 languages, 6 computer languages and had 3 internships along with merit scholarship.
Suck my dick, you should get into a top internship with this simple resume' or do you want pointers like making 3D rotating images of your fine looking bald head and maybe what piece of classical music to play when they open your PDF.
Other than the languages you have listed, try to demonstrate how you have used the other computer skills in your internships if you can. Employers like to see application and quantification anywhere possible.
>>1048175
Honestly the formatting is what I don't like.
Take a look at U of I Urbana Champaign's resume format.
If you don't feel like doing that I suggest placing language underneath your actual computer skills.
Also, That entire section takes up too much space, you could better utilize the extra whitespace to expand on what/how your experience is relevant to the job you're applying to.
If a highschooler can't read this and then know exactly who you are and what you did in...

How does the people that claim that low taxes facilitate socio-economic mobility reconcile the reality that the highest taxed country in the western world has the highest economic mobility while USA has one of the lowest taxes and worst economic mobilties?

Shills then?
Do you think its a good idea to invest into amd right now
>>1052910
Why do you think that. There's no upward trend. The stock has mass fluctuations. All analysts say to hold it. P/E is "negative." No dividend? Why the fuck do you think it's a good idea to buy it now? I actually want an honest answer.
>>1052910
Yes.
I bought some AMD before but ended up selling for just about break even. Wasn't really worth it, I regret not holding it for longer.
Imo anything ~$2 is a good price to buy and hold for a while.
>>1052910
No dividend, horrible debt that they can never pay off, and you want to buy it? People really are fucking stupid.
in 3 years google stock price has doubled
A lot of stocks have doubled in the past three years what is your point
The overall economy is doing good because of obama. deal w/ it.

So, now is a good time to buy volkswagon shares?
Scandal, price falls, they get over it, it goes up?
I know they are being sued by the us over stuff, but it should still make a good profit over like 6 months?
Also, why can't 4chan have a stocks/shares/trading board? This is just filled with shit posts 95% of the time.
>>1052567
I consider buying them, too. I'm sure the German government will not let them go under. Merkel is going to suck Obama/Trump/Clinton dick to get some kind of settlement. I'm not sure about 6 months, but buying at 100 should turn a good profit. 150 a year from now.
Yes, I pulled the numbers out of my ass.
Yes, Hillary Clinton has a dick.
>>1052567
wait until the recall fix is announced, it could be the difference of VW spending $6bn and upwards of $20bn. It will be announced soon, and it could make the stock drop more. But in all reality VW will rebound.
You'll notice in the DOW there are 3 noticeable dips. The 2001-2002 dip is possibly due to 9/11, the 2008 dip is definitely due to the Housing Crash, what exactly is causing this current dip?
I personally believe it's Baby Boomers pulling cash out of the market because they're retiring now, just my opinion though.
