Looking to start by selling on amazon with low margins on things like cheap books but i looked at fees for FBA and theyre like 1.50$/ item.. what happens if I sell something for less than 1.50?
>>1058871
You can't make FBA work with items priced at less than $10. Just do merchant fulfilled or get a better product for FBA. I suggest grocery items, jewelry, health and beauty products, or possibly clothing.
>>1058871
FBA is a ripoff. Storage fees, picking fees, selling fees, fees to return unsolds, etc. I read sellers are paying 40% or more in total fees.
How to make an app where people can find new friends and acquaintances?
The problem with most messengers and social networks is that they are designed to communicate with people you already know. That's why small startups usually have no audience at all: why would I use a shitty app if no one from my contact list is there?
"Dating" sites is another story. For most of their users, finding RL friends would be the first step to a relationship, not swiping hundreds of photos every fucking day. Still, there is no app that helps people just get together...

Are you asking how to make it technically? Or how to make it profitable?
>>1058403
I'm asking for the idea.
Could be like chatroulette, but without the camera. Just adding a bunch of things abour yourself and find someone with similar interests. If you like the person and he/she likes you back, you can add them and videochat and stuff.
Let's say I am designing a messaging app. What features does it need to have to attract users? What would you want from an ideal messenger?
Actually right now my features are end-to-end encryption and anonimity, also wanna add some dating elements.
Signal already exists

Does anybody else here just want to finish school, find a decent job and buy your own house, solely to get women ?
Let's say you're awkward and ugly and it's a fact that a lot of women like men with money and status.
>>1057849
I'm a 23 year old virgin studying computer engineering
I'm ugly and short, so physically women HATE me, getting money improves all aspects of life, not just your ability to get women.
If I ever attract a woman with my status/wealth, it sure will be nice, but so is getting my own house and car.
You can have all the women you want, but for everything good in this world there is bad.
>>1057849
The women who are attracted to wealth and power are not worth having around.
HOW THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT STILL LEGAL?
>>1057400
because they haven't passed a law to ban it?

Why wouldn't it be?

I'm just glad it is. I would hate to have to use BTC. Visa gift cards are great for anonymous online transactions.
>have a general business degree
>trucking along entry-level jobs in various departments of corporate
>not really seeing a career path or future advancement possibly because of not having a specialization
What could you do in this situation? I have enough saved to go into further education or a specialization if I need to, though I'm concerned of the time needed. I think I might be even okay leaving business and going into a different field. Also, I'm young so I can...

So I'm on my last stretch of high school ( Im nearly 19 ) with my grad project almost complete. Since I was a young man I've always desired money, my great grandfather left an age old castle and a large of amount of income In 1914 out of fear for World War One. So he took his wife and came to the states, sadly this was on the heels of the depression and he died making a middle class wage despite being a descendant of nobility, on his death bed he told his son to rebuild what he had lost so his son's children would never have to face what he and my grandfather...

>should i flip houses even though i have no idea how, or should i invest in stocks even though i have no idea how?
Hey /biz/ I have some bad news and some good news.
The bad news is the face of Microsoft, Bill Gates, was in a car crash tonight. You'll probably hear about it on the morning news.
However to certain things like this there is also a bright side. If such an important figure of a company passes away the stocks of said company will become cheaper. And since Windows is more than likely to remain the most popular OS the value will eventually increase again.
Here's to hoping he passes, cheers.
this has to be the worst thing I've seen today. Not because of what happened but because of how you made it feel like it's an ok thing.
I'd gladly use my kneepads for you sir

To comment further, there has been a huge drive of monetary creation. It has transferred wealth from the majority of the population into the upper echelons of society.
While most people would probably resort to "Muh Bernie Sanders! Muh Socialism!"
This would be an economic death sentence and shows absolutely no understanding of the underlying monetary system
Is there any way to make a profit in such a volatile market?
I managed to get some spare money. I've put some of my money in low interest, low risk mutual funds, but I want to get my feet wet with stocks.
Would it even be possible to do so without losing all of it? What companies should I look to invest in? I've got interested in pharmacy and biotech stocks, but is that all?
